I've had the pleasure of using Mr. Chen's plumbing services for over 30 years and during that time he has been the most professional and effective contractor of any kind I've ever dealt with. Perhaps the most impressive feat he and his team ever performed for me was to somehow weasel their way into a 2' high space between floors to remove, chunk by chunk, a leaking cast iron drain line. His skill meant I didn't have to replace either a drywall ceiling or a brand-new hardwood floor.The most recent job, the one that has occasioned this review, was a simple clogged drain. Mr. Chen sent one of his best team leaders, Victor, who arrive on time, handled the matter quickly and completely, and, after a few minutes talking about family, left us both with a smile.While I hope not to need plumbing services again soon, when I do, there are none better to call than Chen Plumbing.

I was happy with the service and the technician, that being said, the price was high, $395 for 15-20 minutes work and a $15 dollar fitting. That equates to approximately $1300-$1500 an hour depending on travel time.They would not give and rough estimate over the phone, and charged $49 to come do an estimate, if you have the work done, they waive that.I had to have it done so that our new range could be installed, so I agreed. The stove was already out of the way and the area was clean.Again, not unhappy with the service, but the price was very high, if I had it to do over again, I would find a company that gives free estimates.

Christian did a great job at my 75 year old home. Great communication and very thorough. Chen does a fantastic job at organization and communication. Key to being a successful organization and maintaining great employees. CHEN plumbing has been to my house 3 times in the last two weeks for some major projects. All of the projects were completed and I am very happy with the workmanship, communication and care that was delivered. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great team and great company!

I called three plumbers and the young lady who answered the phone for Chen plumbing was the only one that was not rude. She was pleasant and professional. It is the reason why I chose Chen plumbing.Travis was great. Very friendly and Professional. Answered all my questions. Got the job done quickly and cleaned up after himself. On the phone, I was told the despatch fee is $50. On site, the diagnosis fee starts at $195. The company is not upfront about the charge. It is very confusing to treat despatch as trip charge. The technician is good to perform his job. But the fee is not transparent. The charge amount on the initial diagnosis should be upfront and transparent for customer such that a decision can be made to use the service or not at the very beginning. In the initial phone conversation, the customer described the water leaking issue from behind drywall ceiling. In this situation the customer was facing a tough choice. Either to pay for $250 (diagnosis) to really find out the issue and the actual job charge or to call off the service after paying the despatch fee.

Travis was great. Gave great guidance, walked me through the process, talked about pros and cons of the installation, then completed everything in short order. Added bonus…he installed a new shower head that I was going to take care of. Well done, and we’ll use Chen again in the future.

As we told Braulio and David, the two skilled plumbers who rescued us from what could have been a very awful sewer pipe-backup situation, "You two have made us customers for life." Our entire experience with Chen Plumbing was beyond excellent from start to finish. From the moment we had our issue--they were at our house within an hour of our first call on the Thursday before the 4th of July weekend (!!!)--until they finished the spotless cleanup of our new sewer line (which they both installed, meaning we had the consistency and reassurance of working with the same people throughout the experience), Braulio and David worked tirelessly to fix our problem, answer our questions, and have us as good as new (and probably better off than the original setup) as quickly as possible. The whole team was great--communication via text and phone was quick, frequent, and very customer-focused--and the pricing was fair and never deviated form the initial quote, even though they had to deal with a few hiccups as they worked around our 1958 plumbing. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that you will not go wrong if you call Chen Plumbing for anything related to your home system. We are very grateful for everyone on their team!

Chen Plumbing and Cody Butts are experts and I highly recommend! My recent call request to them was to replace a bathroom faucet, fix or replace the loose front spigot, and inspect the crawl space. Cody is knowledgeable and personable. He photographed all items and fully explained everything he was doing. He replaced the bathroom faucet, and inspected my crawl space and found that the tub drain pipe was not installed correctly. He and Zach returned and repaired the tub pipes and replaced the front spigot. All was done expertly and to my satisfaction.

Matthew came out to flush out my tankless water heater yesterday. Can't say enough good things about his service - passionate about what he does, friendly, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Matthew also took a look at a couple of other items that I had questions about and left me with some thoughtful insight about additional preventive work we need to consider. I plan to approve that estimate in the next couple days. I really hope gets to come back out to do the work - 5+ stars.

I originally called for an estimate to replace two standard bathroom faucets, which they couldn't provide over the phone and had to have someone out for a cost of $49. When he came, the estimate that was provided was almost $300 more than what I could order service from home depot who did provide me with an estimate. So now I'm just out $49.

Called the guys at 7pm for a clogged garbage disposal. Tim arrived an hour later and got it fixed by 8:20. Wonderful service and help. I’ll be using them again!!

Brylen and the team provided excellent service. They were very punctual and attentive, and diagnosed. The root of my problem came with a game plan. It was fixed within two hours, and above and beyond to make sure that everything was working correctly, I can’t say anything but great things about Chen Plumbing

They were on time, very professional and knowledgeable. I was pleased with the proficiency and their overall work! I will definitely recommend them! Old cast iron is not easy to work with and they had to replace sections in under them he kitchen a d thr line out to the clean out in the yard.

I cannot say enough about Braulio Cobarruvias and his partner!! 🫶🏽☺️🫶🏽☺️🫶🏽My disabled elderly mother had significant plumbing work done on the outside of her home 3 years ago and Braulio performed a camera service and found a tear or belly in the pvc pipes. I was devastated because my mother is also on a fixed income and I was laid off recently. The professional service and the empathy was unmatched!!! We were treated kindly and they took time to explain everything they were doing, what they found, a quick Look at the inside of the house to measure the overall psi. They have 5 stars for a reason!!! Again, I cannot say enough about Braulio's customer service. I rarely write reviews but they more than deserve 5+++ stars for their expertise and more importantly to me & my mother... their heart. We have all gone through different things lately and it feels awesome to not feel taken advantage of. It feels great to know that if the original plumber doesn't make the necessary repairs I have 2 great professional licensed plumbers that won't disappoint.

Dawson and his assistant did an excellent job managing my kitchen sink issue. I have an old home with numerous issues and they navigated each new pitfall and busted fitting as they went. They were thorough running the water for a long time and rechecking the crawlspace over and over to make sure there were no more leaks or issues. I'm extremely happy with their service, they didn't rush and truly made it feel like they cared to fix ALL the issues and not "bandaid" anything to rush to the next job. THANK YOU!

These guys are so much better than the thieves at Keep Smiling / Gwinnett plumbing. They quoted me $3000 to replace existing home depot everbilt sewage ejector pump while these guys did the same thing same product and everything for $1500. Dawson really helped and took time and effort to make me understand why the everbilt with tethered float switch was a bad design and even after offsetting the plumbing to give it more room the float switch would probably still fail or get stuck against the basin wall. Dawson installed a Zoeller M264 sewage pump which has a vertical float switch and doesn’t need enough room to lift up as tank fills in. Overall, I recommend these guys for any plumbing needs.

I had three visits from Chen Plumbing. Cody was the first plumber to come over, and Dawson and an assistant came back for the second and third visits. We had to diagnose and fix an underground leak before our insurance would approve the work. Once the repair was approved, Dawson and the assistant returned to complete the job. Both of them were incredibly professional and left our home in better condition than when they arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by how they managed to keep our place clean during their visit, considering the repair was done under our kitchen floor. I am truly grateful to both of them, and they definitely deserve a raise!
