The communication from Chen Plumbing is great. They confirm and keep in touch via phone and text, and when they were delayed for my original visit time, offered me a slight discount for rescheduling for another day. Shane Silva who came to fix our kitchen sink leak, leading to installing a new disposal, was friendly and knowledgeable, and giving us several options at different price points was helpful and the right thing to do. He worked fast and efficiently. Chen emailed me photos of the work done, too. I hope I won't have to call a plumber any time again soon, but if I do, it's Chen Plumbing all the way.

Chen plumbing as responsive and thorough. He reviewed all of our systems and he made recommendations for what I needed to do for repairs to happen. He even shared the Emergency repair contact number for Dekalb Sewer department. All has been repaired and we're very happy with Chen Plumbing!

Highly recommend Shawn Bush with Chen Plumbing!Shawn arrived within the time period provided and came fully prepared to tackle the drainage issues we were having with two of our sinks. When he ran into some unexpected "unknowns" during the job, he didn't skip a beat. He provided detailed, expert advice on the necessary corrections and took the time to explain exactly what was going on.He successfully cleared the lines and got everything draining perfectly again. He left the work area clean. If you want a plumber who is transparent, and professional, ask for Shawn!

Shane came out to install a gas line for my dryer. He was efficient and made sure I knew what was happening at every step of the way. He even made me aware that the water pressure coming into my house was broken and replaced the valve as well. All the other companies did not mention this but Shane took me to the crawlspace to show me. All services costed $1800 approx whereas other companies were charging me 2k for the gas pipe alone. They are my go to plumbers, highly recommend.

Price gouging plus have to pay $49 just to get an estimate. Plus they sent a kid out, Simeon, who didn't even know what he was doing. I asked him if he had ever installed a whole house water system and he said he hadn't. But he was ready to quote almost $2000 for the install!

They used to be a good, honest company, now they just price gouge. Besides they charge for coming out to give you an estimate. Their guy that came out was some kind who didn't even look sure that he could do the job! Lots of great plumbers out there Go somewhere else!

If I could give a 0, I would. And I don’t usually do this, but I’m going to help someone with this.Sure the communication of this company and their timely feedback is appreciated.However, they straight up lied to me. Quoted me for a $3100 project, said I needed an entirely new water heater and pressure regulating valve, and gave me all these details as to why that was the case and why my current unit was no longer viable. Little did they know I had a family member who did that kind of work for years so I called him to get a second opinion. Come to find out THE PILOT LIGHT WAS OUT!!!! That only requires a LIGHTER! So you mean to tell me these highly trained professionals with all this experience couldn’t see that it was only a pilot light??? Or were they banking on my personal lack of knowledge on the matter and decided to charge me to make some cash for their company!?Either way, terrible service, terrible ethics, terrible diagnosis of the problem at hand. And I would not recommend this company to you or anyone else. Don’t let their politeness fool you, they know exactly what they are doing. And to think, I still gave them 49 of my dollars to tell me a lie.

Bought new fridge. Old waterlines were out of code. Called around 2 pm. They had someone out within an hour. Excellent work. Very informative. Explained everything he did and showed me the work. He also inspected the rest of the house fre of charge to let me know what to watch out for and provided quotes. Friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

After installing an automatic water shut off, water bursted through the copper pipe joints and ruined a rug that was stored in the room. They are unfriendly as well.

We have used Chen Plumbing for YEARS now. Our latest experience was with Chase. He evaluated our situation and offered solutions so the project would be a success in the long run. He was punctual, professional, and left the job site in a much better condition that it was in to begin with.

Excellent overall service. Appointment confirmation text, a phone call to say they were on their way (including the name and picture of my service tech), took care of my initial issue, but had them do some preventative work that they suggested (I agreed, and I have basic plumbing skills). Also was respectful of wearing shoe protection in the house, and cleaned up the work area when finished. Even had a follow-up call from the office to confirm my issues were addressed. Outstanding communication. Would absolutely use them again...

Foster Dawson did an excellent job repairing a sink plumbing line. His communication was great. The pricing is a little bit On the expensive side, but it is worth it to get the job done quickly and correctly with great communication.

Anthony Westberry and Chen Plumbing replaced a shower drain in my condo. It was a tricky job requiring extensive work, but Mr. Westberry completed the project quickly and efficiently. He, along with the entire Chen Plumbing team, were great at communicating in a timely manner, and explaining the process and cost. I highly recommend them!

We needed to have the expansion tank on our water heater replace which was leaking and it was Saturday. The company we have used in the past would not schedule us until Monday which was unacceptable to us especially since we have been loyal customers for a few years.We called Chen plumbing and they worked us into their schedule and even sent the owner to do the work. Tim was courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable. He explained everything and why he needed to do it which was exactly as I suspected. He even helped with an unrelated issue I mentioned and provided advice on what was needed.Chen plumbing has now become our go to plumber.We would highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues.

I spent my Sunday drying floors and draining my broken water heater and was referred to Chen Plumbing by my parents who had Tim replace a couple water heaters and performed service and repairs over their decades in their home. I requested service on Chen Plumbing's website once I had the leaks under control. I received a call within an hour for options to come immediately or the next morning. Dawson arrived early Monday morning, quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a reasonable quote, and had the install completed by lunch - and was a marked improvement over the previous system and job. They left the utility closet in better and cleaner shape than it was before my water heater broke. I would highly recommend Chen Plumbing, and Dawson!
