Gave options and began repair. Cut out section of 2” ABS and replaced with PVC section along with glue joint fittings. After connections were made checked for leaks and cleaned up area.

Inspected house. Found stop valves in upstairs guest restroom need replacing. Also found both hose bibs need to be replaced and secured.

Call for high water bill. Arrived and met with Ms. Shirley and her Daughter. They got a notice from the water company and the water service provided indicated they have a leak on their side. Ms. Shirley mentioned that the bill has been about $200 most months. Her husband has memory health troubles and sometimes leaves the faucets on. We performed an evaluation of the home and found the following. Grey polybutylene pipes throughout home. No inside shut off able to be located. Water meter is spinning. No signs of leak in yard. No floors or moisture found anywhere on floor or floorboards. I discussed how to move forward and recommended two courses of action. First, repiping home and replacing lines. This would also require replacing water main, as branch location is unknown. Second, contacting national leak detection and attempting a spot repair. Spot repairs offer no warranty due to polybutylene piping. Estimate can be provided once leak location is known. Also noted a leaking

For this customer, they are replacing the deck in the back and redoing the siding on the outside of the house and they have a copper gas line penetrating through the wall into a shut off valve nearby on the other side. It’s about 18 foot run. They’re looking to get the gas line replaced but first they need to get it cut out so they can Replace the siding and install the new deck when the new deck is in and the new gorilla is up there we’re gonna come back to install the new gas line for proper code reasons. We have to run a step out of black iron through the wall to the outside and then continue running the CSST line with that in mind I have estimate shown in the customers email for that but today we remove the K copper gas line I filled the hole with caulk so so no bugs or critters can get in. Additionally, the shut off valve I put a plug inside of it so if gas was turned on the g

Marietta, GA - Pull toilet and run snake to clear stoppage. Pulled toilet near garage and ran camera to clear blockage. Blockage was made of soft tissue and grease. Found that there is still lots of grease build up in pipe and recommend jetting. Given all the grease build up drain may backup again. Will send estimate to jet out grease. Reset toilet and tested. No leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area and caulked around base of toilet. Give caulk 12 hours to dry.

Ran tub and filled it up all the way and allowed it to drain, also ran all the fixtures in the bathroom and was not able to locate the leak. Informed customer we could have provision out. Started with a simple clogged shower drain and an aging hot water system. Due to the plumber's thorough checks, discovered that our pressure relief valve had failed. The tub/shower drain was cleared with little issue. The PRV was installed. We knew we needed a new hot water heater. Anthony was able to get that done same day. We moved forward with replacing the hot water heater and moving our gas shut off valve to make it possible to reach. Anthony was very professional and explained every step of the process.

Juan from Chen Plumbing did a great job on replacing our main line. He was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He showed up on time and cleaned up his mess, including repairing the yard when he was done. He also thoroughly investigated and explained the issues and fixes to us ahead of time. Afterwards he again walked us through what was done, explaining and showing us the changes. He also noticed some issues with our irrigation system and was able to make some small fixes free of charge. This is the 2nd time weve called Chen Plumbing for a big issue on our house. Both times weve been very pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge of the plumbers who worked with us. Would definitely recommend them and will call them again if needed in the future.
