Shut down Water and drain down entire home. Water heater is located in basement utility room. Drain down water heater cut out and replaced with 50 gallon gas Rheem water heater. Installation includes Water heater pan, new three-quarter inch ball valve and 2.5 gallon thermal expansion tank. Replaced stop valve for dishwasher.

Move fridge and cut drywall to assess waterline situation. Gave estimate for re-pipe. Upon cutting drywall found loadbearing two by fours that may prohibit project. Replaced leaking vinyl icemaker line with steel braided line.

Price is to furnish and install a high pressure prv in front of the existing prv. Price includes reworking the pipe, existing prv, and shutoff to allow the new prv to fit in the existing system.. Returned and reworked pipe to install a hpprv behind the standard prv. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Set house pressure to 65 psi per customer request. Cut pex to 3.25 inch pieces when putting together to allow for manufacturer required distance between fittings.

We replaced 3/4 flanged recirculating pump today

Customer had 127 psi on the regulated side of house pressure. New Flo by Moen was alerting him for the pressure. Thermal expansion tank was still good, but prv was only 6 years old. Suspected high street pressure. Checked front hose bib at 140 psi coming from the street. Informed customer that cutting in a high pressure prv before the standard prv is recommended for the overall longevity of the prv. Installed a standard prv to regulated the pressure temporarily and will return to cut in high pressure prv when part is located and ordered. Set house pressure to 55 psi.

Replaced a leaking disposal

Replaced customer supplied faucet and sprayer hose. Replaced leaking basket strainer on left side of kitchen sink. Found water damage underneath kitchen sink and connected customer with Reliable Restoration . Advised customer on other plumbing issues and gave estimate for water heater replacement.

Water Heater Installation

For this job, I worked on installing new main service from meter to inside of home. New main shut off was installed inside home.

Cut drywall. Installed 3/4” Flo by Moen device, we supplied device. Pressurized and ensured leak free installation. Had to run drop cord temporarily to power device. Notified him he will have to add electrical outlet to power device as required by manufacturer. 1 year warranty on device and installation. No further issue at this time. I responded to a suspected gas leak today. Used a combustible gas detector to locate the source. Inspected gas lines and fittings for damage. Identified a faulty valve in the kitchen stove. Shut off main gas supply. Replaced valve with a new brass quarter-turn model. Applied pipe thread sealant to connections. Conducted pressure test with manometer to verify repair. Restored gas service and checked appliance function.

For this job, I cleared two clogged tub drains that were causing slow drainage. First, I removed the drain covers to access the pipes.
