Customer stated that tub spout wasn’t working properly and they attempted to replace it but couldn’t get it replaced. Stated to customer that will need to remove old tub, spout, and install new one and customer agreed. Went ahead and removed old tub, spout, and found that pipe was damaged. Stated to customer that pipe will need to be repair repaired. When I had an installed new piping for tub, spout, and install installed customer supplied tub spout. Tested work and now tub spout is working as it should and no leaks present at this time. Caulked around tub, spout, and cleaned up work area. Also installed access panel. Also found that water heater was leaking and recommended to customer to have water heater replaced, but at this time customer didn’t want to proceed with replacing water heater. Will send estimate for water heater replacement

Diagnosed kitchen sink drain draining slowly and leaking from connection below, ran small snake and broke through stoppage. Pulled back line and noticed grease. Used snake and hot water to clean drain as best as possible. Draining well and recommended bio clean and jetting line for more long term solution. No warranty on drain cleaning.

Found disposal jammed and kitchen faucet loose on arrival. Tighten kitchen faucet and Unjam disposal. No warranty on work. Tested and left in good working order.

Call for Dekalb county low flow plumbing inspection. Arrived and met with Joe. He recently purchased the home and requires a certificate of compliance. Inspected all fixtures, toilets, and plumbing. Joe’s home is in compliance with low flow fixtures and appliances. While performing inspection I noted several smaller items that should be addressed to avoid water damage to home. Kitchen: cap 1.5 inch drain line Rubber hose on dishwasher, switch to stainless steel braided Hallway bath Silicone sink to vanity Pop up assembly not sealed to p trap assembly with nut and gasket Toilet a little loose Master toilet needs pull and reset (old half inch style shut off). Missing mounting bolt. Broken faucet, cold side stem stop snapped. Accordion p trap

Checked water pressure is at 92 psi , we replaced a faulty builders grade Prv with watts AUB 25 type , we also replaced faulty expansion tank . Discussed and signed up membership with Mr and Mrs TAmrie today

Came out for a failed sewage ejection pump. Accessed the basin and confirmed the outlet had power. Pump making a humming noise and the basin lid was heavily rusted. Gave quote to cut out the piping and remove the pump from the basin. Also gave quote to replace the pump and lid if necessary. Customer decided not to move forward with any of the quotes at this time.

Found back frost proof hose bib vac breaker bad. Removed vac breaker. Customer was informed that there is no warranty on this job. Tested and left in good working order.

Gave quote to dig down 16’ and install sewer line. Customer getting other quotes at this time.

Quoted water heater , Prv , repair and replacement today

Found master restroom lavatory faucet leaking and lavatory drain leaking. Replaced master restroom faucet with new delta single handle lavatory faucet. Tested for leaks no issues at this time. Recommend replacing 14 year old water heater in mechanical room due to age.

No water to home upon arrival. Customer stated she woke up to no water this morning. After finding water service being pex , asked a neighbor if they had water. They also did not have water but they had already called dekalb county and the county said they have a main line break on the county’s side they are having to fix

Left customer with options to replace tank or tankless water heater.

Replaced a AAV for upstairs sink , inside the cabinet

We were called out last Friday due to a clogged up drain line that had backed up inside. Opened outside cleanout to find it is OK and flowing. Went in crawlspace and instantly heard dripping. The pvc cleanout had cracked and due to the line holding water, was dripping. Line was full of paper and wipes which don’t help, but the main issue was the trunk lime for that side of the house had backfall, which means it was going up hill so nothing could drain properly. We ended up having to cut out and repipe that trunk line for those two bathroom, and run it down about 25’, tying into the main 4” line before exiting the home. Installed new pipe and fittings properly with supports and proper pitch and no leaks. Client is about to list the home for sale and wanted us to do a once over on the home. There were 3 lavatory faucets and pop up assemblies in the home customer wanted to replace. We replaced with new price fister customer supplied faucet with pop ups. Customer reported a high water bill with no visible leaks. Water management is also called by customer and they confirm their meter was working fine. We tested water pressure and visually inspected water heater and confirmed. No issues found. Finally a pressure drop test was performed and showed a super minor leak between the meter and where the line comes in inside, but not severe enough to warrant any repairs at this time. We advise the full line replacement for cost-effectiveness. Customer requested a quote for full line replacement and rework.

Call for drain problem in home after my last visit. Arrived and inspected. Through drains were draining after last visit, I used sewer machine in clean out as courtesy. Found some residual blockage built up at 90 elbow outside of house, before clean out. Sewer machine quickly unblocked and lines cleared fully. Derrick flushed toilets, and also watched clean out while I flushed to see water drain in normally. Also cycled sewage ejection pump again in basement three times. Derrick ran washing machine. Issue with sewer line being flat and low near clean out still persists, but lines are flowing currently.

Used sewer machine to clear soft tissue blockage in mainline. Access via clean out outside.

Came out for a smell in the bathroom and for rusty hoses on the washing machine. Found the smell in the bathroom was due to an open sewer vent pipe where an AAV had been previously installed. Looks like they couldn’t fit the new vanity in place because of the location of the AAV. I cut out the old fittings and moved the AAV into the cabinet. Replaced the washing machine hoses. No further issue at this time. Left quote for water heater as it is 15 years old.

Customer stated that kitchen sink was backing up and also behind kitchen sink in backyard There’s a cleanout port for kitchen line that was also backing up. Started a customer that the starting point will be is to run snake from cleanout in backyard and customer agreed. Went ahead and ran snake and cleared stoppage. Afterwards ran camera. Found lots of grease buildup in line and attempted to flush out as much grease as I can with water hose. Kitchen sink is now draining fine but did recommend to customer have jetted because grease buildup on sides of pipe. Will send estimate to do so. Cleaned up work area. Chen plumbing doesn’t warranty drain cleaning.

Customer stated that toilet wasn’t filling. Recommended to customer to have minor tank rebuild and also service valve replacement for toilet. At this time, customer just wanted to do toilet rebuild. Shut water off to home at meter and installed new fill valve and flapper. Turned water back on and tested. No leaks were present at this time and toilet was working as it should. Chen plumbing will not be responsible if current service valve for toilet starts leaking. Cleaned up work area.

Customer stated that tub was draining slow. Recommend to customer to have snake ran through drain to clear stoppage. Customer agreed to price and went ahead and snaked tub drain. Pulled back lots of hair and soap build up in drain. Showed tenant how it was draining and tenant said that it was draining better than he ever saw it drain. Cleaned up work area.
