Gas was turned off to home. Diagnosed heater not lighting. Relight pilot light and monitored heater for 15 min. Heater is working with no issues and seems like gas control valve is working properly. Set at A. also replaced thermal expansion tank that started leaking while testing. No additional leaks found after repair. Left estimate to install shut off valve for water heater, Currently does not have a shut off valve and whole home has to be shut off.

For this customer, we came out to their house to take a look at a water heater that we previously installed. It has been two years and I recommend you to do the maintenance on it either through our wind with Chen home protection plan and or just do a single service by itself CUSTOMER had mentioned that they have to talk with their spouse and will get back to us on getting it completed. Water pressure is normal at 40 psi. Didn’t see any abnormal issues with the water heater no gas and or water leaks. Everything is properly plumbed. However, recommended the maintenance to keep the unit alive as long as possible.

Cleaned debris from aerator as a courtesy. Informed customer her water heaters are 11 years old, the hot water running out is due the t&p discharging heavily, and that replacement is recommended. Left quotes for both. Pull toilet and clear debris. Reset toilet. If any additional work is needed there will be an additional charge. Customer stated that toilet was backing up because he flushed down a piece of cloth. Pulled toilet and remove piece of cloth that was stuck in P-trap. Afterwards, reset toilet and tested. Now toilet is flushing as it should and no leaks are present at this time. Caulked around base of toilet and cleaned up work area. Also noticed that water heaters from 2015 and recommended to have it replaced. Will send estimate to do so.

Arrived with water off at meter , upon investigation we found a broken 1” pvc coupling next to the walkway , we dug up area approximately 3 feet by 3 feet , cut section 1” pvc , fixed with repair telescope coupling, wait 45 mins , turn water on and checked no more leaks ， back fill dirt . Note , this water service line is used very thin wall 1” pvc pipe , this is not scheduled 40 pvc pipe , problem most likely will happen again because this material type .

Came out for a high water bill. We isolated service line and found active leak of .28 gpm. No sign of leak in yard or around exterior of home. Gave quote options to repair/replace the water service. Water heater also needs a new expansion tank. Left quote to replace expansion tank/water heater. Homeowner going out of country soon and wants to wait until he returns to decide how he wants to address this issue. Showed him how to turn water off at the meter in the meantime.

Dawson was on time and quick. I thought the problem was going to be major and costly but my leak was not pipe related. He could have said he needed to do a bunch of costly inspecting but instead, gave me the number of a restoration company that could solve to problem better. I liked that he was honest about it while still being polite. They will definitely be my first call the next time I have a plumbing need.
