Call for leaking kitchen faucet. Prior to arrival I listened to call, as Mr. Lee would be out of town during my visit. I met with his mother on site today. Phone call mentioned that Lee does have a home warranty company and policy, and that repairs or replacement may be around $95 for this. We recommended our inspection to make sure there were not underlying factors contributing to premature faucet failure. I arrived and met with Mrs. Hall. Lee was just landing at the airport during this time and was available by phone. Mrs. Hall mentioned the faucet drips around the top. They are the original owners of the home, and the home is approximately ten years old, in a subdivision of the same age. Inspection and diagnostic findings: Checked faucet and leak can be replicated immediately by turning faucet on. Does not turn off fully at normal position,a nd must be moved and wiggled a bit to shut off. Significant corrosion and sediment/mineral buildup at base and joint of faucet. Checked wat

Really great visit. Shawn was knowledgeable, kind, respectful, going through every step of my leak and its repair with me. I love when people repairing my home leave me more knowledgeable about my home than when they arrived, especially when it comes to preventing future problems. Shawn did all of the above in addition to fixing the leak relatively quickly, and for an affordable price.
