Came out for a garbage disposal that wasn’t working and a sink drain. Kitchen sink garbage disposal was jammed. We attempted to u jam the disposal but couldn’t get it to budge. We found lots of broken pieces of debris inside the disposal. Installed new disposal and tested to ensure proper function. Upstairs lavatory drain pop up was not working when you pulled the rod. Found the rod inside the drain that holds the pop up in place had rusted and broke off. We replaced the pop up and tested to ensure proper function and a leak free install. We could not access the water heater. Water heater is in a closet, covered with an access panel, behind the refrigerator. No fur5er issue at this time.
Very knowledable and friend. Professional service, honest assessment and fair pricing.
Customer had a commercial office space below her townhome. The property noted water in the drop ceiling above a cubicle. Popped a few tiles on the drop ceiling and found the leak to be located on a copper water line below the concrete flooring in the ceiling below. Customers water meter is above her floor and the leak is occurring before her meter on the buildings water line. Informed customer this shouldn’t be her responsibility and recommended contacting her HOA. Noted to customer that her garbage disposal is in poor condition and should likely be replaced. Customer approved work for the disposal. Replaced and tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Adjusted fill valve and new toilet upstairs that was running.
Met with customer customer explained to me that low water pressure has been occurring at kitchen faucet only after short diagnostic visual inspection determine aerator to be clogged, cleaned out, aerator and found no other issues at this time. Original issue has been fixed.
Checked unit below , no leak at this time , customer did not want us to open the ceiling to investigate, charged the dispatch fee
Call for gas leak. Arrived and met with Mr. Craig on site. He explained that the gas company came out and said there is a gas leak. They confirmed that it could be detected inside the home, strongest seeming to be in the bathroom. After inspecting I found the following: Gas main on the left of the home. Home has gas water heater, gas stove, and previously had a gas furnace. Gas leak present and corrected at a union on the gas meter. Inside crawlspace, black iron, galvanized, and copper gas lines were present. When turning the meter on briefly, the meter ran constantly at full capacity, as if a gas line was disconnected somewhere. I verified stove and water heater were not disconnected. Crawlspace showed an old copper line, presumably serving the old furnace. When I turned the valve off, gas stopped escaping. Upon further inspection and during a separate repair, I found that the copper gas line had been severed roughly and left open. It appears that the line was cut with a saws all or
Great Communication
Customer originally called us out due to water damage, discovered on the floor. Upon performing an initial diagnostic evaluation, we determined that the source of leak was a waste line located within the wall that had been punctured by screw or nails. During our investigation, visible corrosion, and rust staining were present around the affected area, indicating that the fasteners had likely been embedded in pipe for an extended period of time. The prolonged exposure caused the screws and or nails to deteriorate and rust, resulting in a leak and subsequent water damage. Presented the customer with options for the necessary repairs, including removal and replacement of compromise section of piping. Customer approved the proposed work. Made appropriate repairs and thoroughly tested. All approved. Work has been completed and is functioning as intended.
Quoted a camera inspection with toilet pull and reset
Customer needing grinder pump added for outside pool house. Customer is in the process of installing a pool and pool house in the back yard but needs a grinder pump to pump waste back to outside sewer line in the front yard. Informed customer we could add a pump and pit and run a new line from the pit to the sewer line in the front yard. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Customer is going to a pay a deposit once the city approves our drawing. Informed customer we could possibly start Thursday as long as everything is approved and if the weather allows.

Customer has a wet spot on ceiling in basement bedroom. Customer wanted to know the source of the leak. Informed customer that without cutting the exact source cannot be determined. Customer preferred to know if it was wet or dry before cutting to see if the ceiling can just be repaired or not first. Didn’t charge the customer a dispatch fee since work couldn’t reasonably be done. Recommended Provision to put moisture detection equipment on the ceiling before cutting. Water pressure couldn’t be checked because customer had shut water off at the house.
Left invoice for install of 18 1/2 inch diameter water heater. Normal heater will not fit in area.
Return to complete quoted work. Removed water heater and installed new 50 gallon gas water heater. This included the addition of a drip pan, replacing the gas drip leg and gas hose to fix a gas leak. Installed thermal expansion tank, and new shut off valve. Removed old pressure regulating valve and installed new PRV. I checked the water in the home and the volume and pressure is much better than previously reported. Pressurized system and checked for leaks. Set water heater to standard temperature. Cleaned work space.
Customer had concerns about existing water heater vent and also sewer line. Took a look at vent and stated to customer that the vent is not fixable and that we will either have to install a power vent or a tankless water heater. Also came to the conclusion that bathroom in basement is on gravity because couldn’t find sewer injection pump and also heard water going through pipe from clean out outside. Will send estimates for repairs.
Call for water heater estimate. Met with Ms. Marjorie. She had a waterline installed and has been concerned with the noise the water heater is making. I inspected unit, and found it to be approximately 9-10 years old. The unit does not have a thermal expansion tank installed. The gas drip leg has a minor gas leak on the side branch of the tee. This leak was confirmed via gas leak detector and bubble solution, and video is attached. New waterline is 3/4 pex piping. The pipe is brought through the garage foundation without sleeping, using electrical tape asa sleeve. The grounding has been left disconnected under water heater. I was not able to determine if grounding was present elsewhere in the home. When checking the pressure, i found that there is a sure Wilkins double union PRV under the water heater. This has been replaced at some point in the past, but is not functioning. Pressure at front spigot read 100 psi, water heater and back spigot reads approximately 30 psi. Water heater
Inspected tankless water heater in garage. No issues at this time. Checked water pressure. No issues at this time.
Gave customer estimate to rough in basement sewer and water lines. Contractor would be responsible for finish.

I found Chen plumbing on thumbtack and the service has been top notch. Luz was great at communicating through the process and Braulio came to inspect the house the same day I called. I had a pretty bad leak from our service line outside with water pooling in my yard. Even though he already had jobs lined up, he offered to fix it the following day. Honoring his word, he came the next day and worked into the night. I have a lot of respect for him because we both knew it would be a tough job. Absolute A+ from my standpoint.

Professional, reasonable price, and good service. Juan and his partner came to do a sewer scope to diagnose an odor issue and checked my air vents in the attic and street side manholes. We found a potential issue in my garage attic connected to the water boiler that could have been causing a major problem. Nice guys, helpful and clean/courteous.
Thank you, Shlok, for your kind words! We're glad Juan and his partner were able to help identify the issue and provide you with great service. Your feedback means a lot to us!
Juan was very helpful in diagnosing a sewage smell issue that had been happening for several months. He answered all my questions during the sewer scope and his partner checked the vents and manholes to see if there were any issues that we might have missed. They weren’t able to find anything but gave me the video and advice I needed to pursue the issue further with the city or test my water boiler’s exhaust. Professional, reasonable price, and good service.
We've called this company twice now and both services were great. This last time we had Max come by to fix our clogged kitchen sink. He was on time, communicative, and worked quickly.
