Installation of gas water heater with pan and pan discharge to floor drain. Removed and reconnected flare gas connections to accommodate installation of new heater. Installed additional gas shutoffs where necessary. Installation of new pressure regulator and charged new expansion tank to within 10 psi above house pressure. Chen Plumbing cannot be responsible for previously existing plumbing.

Attempted to jet from vent stack on the roof. Could not make unusual turn. Use Camera to see what was going on. Camera would also not make turn. Cut in clean out to attempt to unclog line, could not get to the right section of pipe, will have to demo section of kitchen to see what is going on under. Informed customer of my findings.

Customer stated that sump was just humming and that kitchen faucet didn’t have good water pressure. Checked out kitchen faucet and found that sprayer head needs to be replaced. Pulled out sump pump in basement and found pump was not functioning properly and that pump looked to be undersized. Furnished and installed new pump with ball valve and check valve. Tested and pump is working as it should. Sealed around basin and cleaned up work area.

Came out for clogged toilet, we angered it and didn’t help , so we pulled toilet and inspected drain and we noticed no water . We ran water from shower and toilet supply line to check how fast drained filled up but it never did after couple minutes. We noticed whole bathroom is getting vented by a studor vent so we removed it and flushed toilet and it flushed fine . So we replaced it , and rest toilet to test again and same problem so we removed toilet again and scoped the drain line and noticed drain are filled with water after 15 feet from toilet drain Victor will be out tomorrow to Jett drain lines

Found pinhole leak on three-quarter cold line, cut out and replaced about 1 foot section of pipe, customer also wanted to replace fill valve in toilet, Work is tested and complete.

Kitchen sink clogged and daughter’s bathroom sink clogged. Customer stated her daughter dumped 2 sticks of melted butter down the drain. And wouldn’t drain anymore daughters sink is clogged by the pop up. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Ran hand auger down daughter sink and cleared blockage. Took ptrap apart in kitchen sink drain and found ptrap clogged and could not get blockage out of trap so I replaced the ptrap. Also ran hand auger down drain to make sure no issues. Tested all system, system are working and draining with no leaks or issues.

Attempted to snake kitchen line. Could not clear. Tim returning tomorrow

Shower valve was replaced in master bathroom shower . Will have to go back and install trim after tile is installed

Cleared line serving sewage ejector basin. Broke up substantial fat deposits and filled basin multiple times to test functionality and flush debris.

Customer will let us know when ready.

For this job, I worked on installing customer supplied shower head with handheld head. Also installed new stop valves for toilets and new metal supply lines.

Toilet tank busted upon arrival. Customer stated he hears a banging noise in the line when water is running. After walking through home and basement found PRV making noise. Informed customer we could replace tank in master bathroom on toilet, and replace PRV and whole home shutoff valve. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new tank on western toilet. Replaced PRV and whole house shutoff valve. Set pressure to 65 psi. Tested all systems, systems are working with no leaks or issues.

Replacement of pressure regulator due to age. Replacement of main shutoff valve. Reassembly if piping with new fittings to alleviate stress from existing CPVC piping. Addition of piping supports.

Replumbed kitchen sink in anticipation of new disposal.

For this job, I worked on adjusting toilet handle making sure everything worked on toilet. Toilet does take long to fill up but they aren’t worried about it.

For this job, I worked on installing new 40 gallon gas short Rheem water heater.

Customer wants to run plumbing for washing machine and new vanity in room without plumbing. There is one bathroom in the suite. Drain lines do not go shared wall with room desired for placement of washing machine. Drain lines go to shared wall with unit next-door. Gave estimate for cutting drywall to find drain stack and three-quarter inch waterlines as primary step in project.

Customer had tub shower valve mounted on clawfoot tub that was dripping. Gave diagnostic price to take apart and determine manufacturer. Upon taking it apart, found that the brass was in good condition and a cartridge rebuild was viable. Due to the overall age of the fixture this repair isn’t warrantied, but as of time of repair the faucet is no longer leaking (video attached). Gave price to replace Cpvc shutoff to hose bib, customer declined repair for that at this time.

Copper leak in wall in kitchen upon arrival. Gave customer estimate to repair copper line. Customer approved estimate. Installed new section of 3/4 copper. Tested system, system is working with no leaks or issues upon departure

Removed power vent, installed tankless

Washing machine not draining upon arrival. Customer stated he had Lowe’s come out a few weeks ago and install the washing machine. He said he has started her water come out and when he was in the laundry room, it came out of the drain line. Informed customer we would need to run handheld machine down the drain in order to clear the blockage. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. Ran handheld machine down washing machine line ran machine three times and let it drain three times to ensure that there is no more blockages. Tested system. System is working with no leaks or issues.

Customer has leak in ceiling. After looking at bathroom found grout and caulk missing. Leak only shows up when someone is in shower. Customer is having a restoration company come out to evaluate. Tub also has crack and paint coming up dead middle of tub. Informed customer if restoration finds anything related to drain to call us back and we can give a quote to make repairs since he is having them open ceiling.

Customer wanted a quote to replace a kitchen faucet, 2 lavatory wide spread faucets, and a toilet pulled and reset. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. Installed new kitchen faucet, and 2 new wide spread lavatory faucets. After toilet was pulled removed old wax ring and found broken flange. Gave customer estimate to replace flange customer approved estimate. Installed new flange and set toilet back down with new caulk around it. Tested all systems, systems are working with no leaks or issues.

Returned and replaced 3/4 gas regulator valve to pool heater. Customer turned pool heater back on via phone app and the appliance appears to have to same issue as it previously did. Tested where the connections to the new regulator are as well as where unions were disconnected for gas leaks. No gas leaks were found. Recommended having customer call AGL to test their meter as a next step.

Arrived at clients house, went over main concerns, which were draining issues on bathtubs, also checked water pressure for a house found high water pressure, PRV was old replaced with new PRV and new whole house ball valve shut off, Cleaned bath tubs drain line, lines are draining properly now. (No warranty on drain cleaning) Cut out section of sheet rock to find leak, ran water to see if drain line was leaking. There are no leaks present at this time.
