Customer had water leaking into the laundry room when shower above was running. Tested first the drain, valve, and tub spout. Left water running from just the tub for several minutes and saw no water dripping below. Then ran the shower for several minutes and recreated the dripping. The shower head didn’t have the threads sealed and was dripping down the wall and onto the uncaulked trim for the tub. Fixed the leak on the shower head and caulked around the trim as a first step. Let customer know the caulk needs 24 hours to dry properly. If there are any leaks after this then next steps for repair can be quoted. Made customer aware that if the leak persists, that the additional steps will likely be more invasive in regards to cutting/replacements.

Crawled underneath and crawlspace to assess water leak from underneath. Found organic growth and moisture, saturating flooring and wood boards. Connect customer with Reliable Restoration. Disassembled Lavatory faucet and Grohe Shower diverter. Checked pressure on system psi exceeding 135. Discussed with customers in length and detail about process for plumbing fixes and priorities. Gave multiple options for initial plumbing fixes. Additional estimate will be given on return visit for kitchen lines and drain work once exposed.

Returned to install backwater valve in back of home. Installed inside of meter box beside the back pouring. Tested system system is working with no issues.

Sewage pump in back yard not pumping upon arrival. I tried to bypass float to just get pump to kick on annd it did not. Informed customer I would need to pull the pump to figure out what’s wrong with the pump. Once I pulled the pump out of the tank I lifted float and pump was grinding really bad like blades were broken. Gave customer estimate to replace warranty pump. Customer approved estimate. Installed new pump with new 25 foot plug. Tested system system fired up and pumped out tank and shut out when needed.

Mathew did an excellent job of tracking down where the laundry drain clog was, and clearing it. And he poured 2 washing machine loads of water down to make sure the clog was cleared. He was very knowledgeable.
