Came out for a sink gurgling when the upstairs bathroom is used. Received approval to attempt to run camera from the roof. Was able to get the camera down the line but was not seeing the issue. Customer had section of the wall open previously and I was able to locate the branch vent for the upstairs and downstairs sink. Upstairs and downstairs sink tied into their own drain line independent of the upstairs shower and toilet, and the downstairs toilet. Attempted to snake the line from the sink to no avail. Received approval to open the ceiling in the garage and run camera down the drain to try and clear it. Could not get the line draining. Returning Monday with a helper to install the cleanout in the ceiling and jet the line. Currently the sinks are inoperable but the toilets and shower are draining.

Homeowner recently had his kitchen remodeled. They used a threaded tee connection on the hot side of the sink to split the line. One of the threaded connection had no gasket or sealant on it and was slowly dripping. I sealed the threads and reinstalled it. Confirmed no leak after sitting pressurized for a few minutes. Left quote to replace the kitchen drain line as it has rusted nodules in multiple locations.

Customer needed water lines and drain line run to new fixture in kitchen with a customer supplied water filter install. Description of work as sold below: “Price is to cap two uncapped 2 inch cast lines below the floor. Run a new drain line from 3 inch cast in 3 inch pvc and run new pvc line through the floor. Run hot and cold pex lines through the floor under cabinet with two stops and connect customer supplied under sink filtration (No warranty on customer supplied parts). Customer is having an hvac line removed, will need the line removed and capped prior to work being done.” Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. No leaks were found on our work, but a leak was discovered in the body of customers faucet. Made customer aware. Left customer price for a tankless install due to age of water heater and the heater needs to be moved due to a porch being built.

For this customer, they had a dishwasher drain line that was disconnected from the P-trap. I was able to put a 2 inch cap on it for temporary use as of right now. Additionally able to knock out the plug for garbage disposal for the dishwasher drain line however, this is a temporary repair if it does not leak we’re good however, if it does leak, there is an associated cost for the repair that repair repair would consist of cutting out the P-trap drilling out the hub for the Y following that we would stick a new piece of inch and a half in and then cap that line or out of clean out. Was not able to check water pressure. Water heater is old.

Customer called for leaking shower valve and lukewarm hot water, after a initial evaluation, we found water heater to be set on low heat setting informed customer and adjusted to customers preference also with shower valve informed customer to replace whole shower valve as existing one is very old. Finding parts could be an issue.

Customer stated that water heater kept tripping. Tested both elements and all thermostats. Found that top element was burnt out/not working properly. Recommended to customer to have both top and bottom element replaced and customer agreed. Went ahead and shut power off to water heater and drain down water heater. Replaced both elements. Turn water back on and tested for leaks and no leaks were present at this time. Bled all air out of system and turn power back on. Water heater was humming, which means it was heating so customer should have hot water within 40 minutes. Cleaned up work area.

Customer wants to relocate his washer and dryer mainly his washer to the wall on the right side so I gave an estimate to do a new washing machine box kept the old one run a new 2 inch drain line and use a new standpipe in P-trap. additionally he mainly just wanted an estimate for it. He’s not sure if he is picking up the washer and dryer yet the current ones that he has are working just fine. He’s just looking to upgrade at this time is just an estimate only.

Pulled back bedroom toilet. Checked toilet and flange. Reset toilet with new wax seal. Snaked kitchen sink to clear blockage. Did not pull anything back. Tested and left in good working order.

Found Kohler upper tower stem broken. Replaced Kohler stem. Tested and left in good working order.

For this customer, they have a two handle shower valve in the master bathroom. We do not repair and or replace these with a warranty anymore. The only option for replacement is going back with a single handle valve. We will need to cut tile in order to do that additionally, if we were to go back to repair the stems and Replace those we are not able to offer a warranty due to how old the valve is the valve is 66 years old finding parts for the valve may be hard so therefore we do not offer a warranty water. Pressure is fine in the home. It is reading at 50 psi. At this time, the customer wants to think on what they would like to do.

Upon arrival customer wanted a quote on on main sewer line spot repair in front yard, replacing about 60 ft of cast iron from kitchen sink and laundry drain, and replacing expansion tank and removing all shark bite fitting from hot and cold lines. Customer approved quote, removed all cast iron from kitchen sink and washer drain leaving the cast iron p trap because customer did not want us opening up the wall, we by passed the old vent for the kitchen sink and stubbed down through kitchen cabinet 2 in pvc adding a new p trap and AAV and capping the old vent in crawl space and in kitchen cabinet. We replaced about 6 ft of 4 in pvc in the front yard of the main sewer line that failed due to roots. Removed old expansion tank and all shark bite fittings and replaced the expansion tank and added a bracket mounting it on the wall. Tested for leaks everything is working properly no leaks upon departure.

Installed new flush valve. Tested to ensure a leak free installation and proper function. No further issue at this time.

This customer on a couple Are keep back up. Customer has cast iron piping in their home indicating why that sewer lines keep backing up so therefore, I recommended to do a full re-pipe of all the cast-iron and remove it all and replace it all with PVC. additionally they have two different hose bibs that are leaking. I recommended to get those swapped out as well and then their main waterline get that replaced to a poly or peg waterline. The customer needs to get their finances correct before signing off on any work at this time. It’s just an estimate been only and the customer will reach back out to us when they would like to do it.

For this job the customer has a weird wet spot on the ceiling & the wall. I looked in the room where the Prv is and it’s smells wet, however I couldn’t find it that way by just looking. So therefore I recommended to cut into the wall to further diagnose where it is coming from. I cut a 2x2 on the wall then a 2x2 on the ceiling, and it was all dry. I am unable to determine where the leak is coming from. I don’t see any moisture on any of the pipes. Drain and pressure pipes. At this time I recommended them to provision, to see if they can see how wet everything is. The water could potentially come from the foundation but at thus time we can’t source a leak from the pipes. Water pressure is normal.

Camera inspection for the main line in the yard , found roots in 50 feet , 5-6 deep , quoted for repair

Replaced a leaking 50 gas water heater, new Rheem pro heater. Pan . Leak smart valve , 4 years warranty extension kit , expansion tank installed

Customer had a leak between floors for a kitchen drain line on a common vent for the upstairs lavatory. Upon running water found that the ABS going through the floor was cracked on the tee and vertically on the pipe all the way to the next turn. Replaced the tee and the section of ABS through the floor with pvc. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found additionally.

Rebuild toilet by replacing fill valve and flapper. Also replace service valve with new supply line. Went ahead and replaced service valve supply line and fill valve. Replaced flapper, but toilet kept on running. So I went ahead and installed new 2 inch flush valve. Afterwards, tested and now toilet is working as it should and no leaks are present at this time. Cleaned up work area.

Upon arrival was told that the inspector had taken the key from the lockbox on the previous day. Waited for the j Spector to arrive with the key. AGL was already on sight to address the gas leak. Found the water heater in the crawlspace and saw that the heater was over 10 years old and didn’t have an insulated electrical supply or an accessible breaker by the heater. The electrical issues will need an electrician to inspect. The house pressure was at 95 psi and the prv was rusting. Noted the leaking hose bib on the rear of the home. Didn’t notate any low volume shower heads but did determine that the knockout plug wasn’t removed when hooking the dishwasher drain to the garbage disposal. Also noted that the disposal was improperly trapped and will require cutting drywall to determine how to redo. Called Devyn and explained my findings and sent pricing to correct the plumbing. Camera drain from outside cleanout to street. Found multiple areas of root intrusion. Recommend replacing sewer service from clean out to tap. Estimate sent to customer with videos.

Customer wanted a quote for water heater after thorough evaluation, found no PRV located on home. Gave suggestion for PRV install and water heater. Customer will call back with decision after other quote.

Ordered American standard flush valve. Will return to install it once it arrives.

Returned to complete pre-sold work as described below: “Replace all exposed cast in basement area. Price is to replace roughly 40 feet of 4 in cast and up to 10 feet of 2 inch. Price only includes horizontal runs of pipe. No pipe will be replaced on the vertical or through the floor.” Cut pipe right at all turns for horizontal pipe where is discussed with the customer and replaced roughly 40 feet of 4 inch pvc and roughly 10 feet of 2 inch pvc. Had let customer know on Friday that the drop ceiling was nailed together with wood on the chase. Let him know that we would be careful deconstructing but that we wouldn’t be able to put it back together. Customer understood. Left material taken down in a pile on plastic for customer. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.

Tried to locate rebuild kit for old tub shower valve, found parts have been discontinued. Removed access panel behind tub shower cut out old 3 handle shower valve and installed new delta single handle shower with remodel plate. Installed new shower valve, tub spout and shower head. Tested all part for proper operation. No leaks and no issues with faucet. Also signed up with our win with Chen membership!

Replaced a builders grade sewer ejector pump with Zoeller M264 cast iron pump , tested all works good now . Discussed and signed up membership with Mr. Channel today
