Was called out for pipes rattling in the wall between the bathroom and laundry room. Home owner stated that it started happening after the remodel. I could make the pipe rattle by manually opening and closing the fill valve. And the hammer arrestor for the washer look to original to the house and should be replaced to help prevent the hammering noise. I also tested the water pressure and it is currently at 45 psi. When testing the water pressure I noticed the age of the water heater and its manufacturer date is 2010 so I gave estimates for replacement as a preventative maintenance. Also let homeowner know that when the remodeling of the bathroom was done the third party company may not of strapped the the piping to the wall/ studs and may have to cut the drywall out to strip piping to the wall. Homeowner is going to go over the options with here husband and call back into the office to schedule work

I had a faulty faucet in my shower. I could not shut off the hot water. I had to shut off the water to the house. Tim Chen was able to come over in less than 24 hours and fix the problem. I had my 5 grandkids that weekend and I needed the issue resolved so they could shower and flush toilets. I will use him again.

Diagnosed leak when running shower in upstairs hall bathroom. Took off plate and cut small section of Sheetrock in room behind shower. After testing thoroughly, found water coming through from plate and from gap around spout, no other leaks found on lines or riser. Caulked around all shower plates and on floor outside of shower where there were visible cracks. This is as a first step into resolving the issue. Recommended customer to give shower caulking 12- 24 hrs dry time and to use as normal and to keep an eye out inside the cut hole for any additional leaks. If any additional leaks are found we will have to do further diagnostics and cut ceiling below shower to gain better access the leak which will be additional pricing.

Client called us out due to their guys while working finding/hitting the main water line that had a pinhole in it right at the bend in the pipe before going into the home. There was just not enough pipe sticking out to be able to fix it just outside, so we removed that pipe from the foundation, drilled the hole out, then inserted the new type L copper pipe with tape around the pipe as a sleeve. Connected the copper to the 3/4” black poly outside and then reconnected to the copper inside. Did have to cut small hole in basement Sheetrock to do repair, but was able to put an access panel over the hole. Hydraulic cemented both inside and out after testing. Also backfilled hole for client as their client was worried about the water line being exposed in the cold temps.

They are good to go, no more leaks.

Bill out.

Customer tub not getting hot enough due to mixing valve failure. Replaced mixing valve with partial rework of water piping due to mixing valve size. Also found pressure to be too high. Gave options to replace mixing valve and other options to fix pressure issues. After replacements, checked for leaks and proper function. Explained to customer about temperature and adjustments for mixing valve.

Left quote for water service. Very small leak. No sign of water showing up anywhere. Very steep hill with multiple trees and roots everywhere. Customer already attempted leak detection with no success. Recommended replacing the line and installing it in a sleeve. Customer has gotten lots of quotes for this and is going to review them all and decide what he wants to do.
