Customer had moen post temp cartridge completely fail allowing no way to turn off. Gave option to replace cartridge. Shut off water drained system then removed old cartridge and replaced with new. Turned water back on and checked for leaks and proper function. Also checked pressure.

Customer had water pipe busted after water meter , found someone used sharkbite fitting underground when add to irrigation system , we remove both sharkbite fitting and install pex pipe with appropriate fittings today

Customer stated that toilet on main floor was backing up. Used auger and cleared stoppage. Flushed toilet multiple times and now toilet is flushing as it should. Also, customer asked if I can look at what Shane previously came out to look at about a leak. Recommended a customer to pull toilet and run camera to inspect line and customer agreed. Pull toilet and ran camera out to the garage and in the first 20 feet found some construction debris that caught toilet paper and caused a stoppage at one point which caused water to back up a toilet flange. Also toilet flange was sitting too low. Rework piping and stopped out at 3 inch piece of pipe and will need to return after reliable restoration is done to install flange and reset toilet. Also guest bathroom upstairs pool toilet, and inspected and found that flange was also sitting too low. Replaced flange and reset toilet and tested. No leaks were present at this time. Returning Monday morning to install new pump Returned and installed new solder sump pump and liberty 441 back up pump system. Cut out old discharge line and reinstalled up off the ground, secured to side of house. Tested to ensure primary and back up pump are both working. 1 year warranty for labor and materials.

Was out Aug 28 2025 and quoted customer to install customer supplied kitchen faucet. Customer has approved estimate and bought faucet. Remove old kitchen faucet and installed customer provided faucet. Tested and no leaks present at this time.

In basement remove existing pump. Furnish and install new sewer injection pump with new ball valve and check valve. Customer said that toilet in basement wasn’t flushing. Diagnosed issue and found that sewer ejection pump was kicking breaker and that pump has burnt out. Stated to customer that pump will need to be replaced and customer agreed. Removed all sewer ejection pump and furnished. Installed new sewer ejection pump with new check valve. Tested by letting pump kick off multiple times and at this time pump was working as it should. Also ran all fixtures in bathroom and everything was working properly and toilet now is flushing as it should. Cleaned up work area.

Call for high water bill. Upon inspection I found that the basement fill valve needed to be adjusted down. Adjusted it to proper level. Checked pressure on home, pressure reads at 50 psi at 3pm. After correcting fill valve toilet is no longer running. If fill valve overflows again we can return to replace valve, but toilet is fairly new. I recommend contacting your water service provider for a bill adjustment, as the toilet has been running a significant amount.

Customer has slow draining shower in newly renovated bathroom. Explained to customer about possible issues and suggested a drain cleaning. Customer wanted to wait for issue to worsen before cleaning.

Dig down about 10 feet by existing 6 inch clean-out and replace with new 6 inch clean-out. Dug down by existing 6 inch clean out. Cut out section of 6 inch concrete pipe and also 4 inch cast-iron. Installed new cleanout and reconnected 4 inch. Hit waterline, but made repair and tested, and no leaks were found at this . Found roots further down on city side and recommended to customer to contact city for them to come and jet the line because currently they’re still slow draining going on on city side. Bad running hot water tub faucet , need replacement, add two shut off valves and come back Friday to install new faucet

In crawlspace, used Jetter to attempt to jet out sewer line. Afterwards on camera to inspect sewer line. Customer stated that he was having a whole house back up. Stated to customer that will need to run a camera to figure out where issue is occurring in. Customer agreed. In crawlspace remove clean out and ran camera and got about 85 feet out and my camera couldn’t go past that spot. Located and found 6 inch cleanout. Recommended next step to customer is to use Jetter to attempt to clean out sewer line. Ran Jetter and found that stoppage was made of roots. Attempted to jet out roots. Roots were just too thick for the Jetter to cut through. Next step recommended a customer to a do full replacement of sewer pipe outside of home or spot repair. Customer agreed to spot repair. Will return tomorrow to make repair. Cleaned up work area.

Replaced an old 40 gal gas water heater , installed new heater , expansion tank , new Prv and new 1/2 trac pipe with shut off valve to heater .

Fixed clogged dishwasher drain. Relocate drain for dishwasher from basement to kitchen

Customer called us out to have kitchen sink provided by them installed gave quote. Customer approved .Installed customer supplied kitchen faucet, tested extensively. Everything was working as intended.

Customer had next to no hot water flowing through the kitchen faucet. Removed the hot supply and noted the stop wasn’t holding. Isolated the water heater and hooked a new supply up and noted low flow. Replaced both stops and restored flow to the fixture. Tested for proper function and no additional leaks. None were found at this time.

Gave customer options for replacing the front hose bib that is leaking, gave options for both tankless and tank style water heater replacement, and a price to run a new ice maker box. Customer will wait to install the heater and do a new hose bib. Installed a new ice maker box for refrigerator install. Made customer aware that we would have to cut the wall to access the new plumbing. Customer is aware that Chen Plumbing isn’t responsible for drywall repairs.

Replaced toilet with western, elongated 10 “ rough in toilet

In basement laundry room cut out existing cast-iron piping for wash machine drain and replace with pvc and new wash machine box. Cut paneling as needed to access water lines to rework. Also rework T&P line to go outside of home. Chen plumbing won’t be responsible for repairing paneling. If any additional work needed there will be an additional charge. Tested all work and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.

Customer had issues with toilet flushing slowly. Ran auger with extension to ensure line is clear. Flushed toilet several times and show no issues.

kitchen line is compromised underneath the slab, we will re work line above ground and add a 2 inch p trap for the laundry machine, as well as a clean out for the kitchen. While pipe is cut open we will also run Camera to determine the rest of the sewer line condition. Performed work mentioned above, as well as completed camera inspection line under slab is in rough shape informed customer of findings. Work is tested and complete.

Customer stated that there was a leak on drain pipe for wash machine. Found that drain was actually backing up. Recommended to customer to replace section of cast iron with PVC. Customer signed estimate and would like us to do work on Friday because laundry room is getting renovated.

Homeowner and her father state that they purchased a new fridge for the kitchen and when the install crew moved the old fridge the ice maker angle stop was leaking so they called us to fix the issue. Upon arrival the father greeted me on driveway and explained the situation and showed me to the kitchen area. I could see they had a towel down and had shut off the water in crawl space. I did my inspection and found that the expansion tank was blown and the PRV was very old. I offered some solutions to them and they opted to install a new ice maker box PRV and shut off and finally a new expansion tank. I began with removing the old angle stop and cut the back wall to install the ice maker box and drilled a hole down to the crawl space and feed new pex pipe and connected it to the CPVC line. Then I moved to the main shut off and removed it along with the PRV and installed a pex adapter and ran new pex pipe with a new PRV and main shut off.
