I recently completed a job as a plumber technician where I used an auger to clear a stoppage in a toilet. This auger is a long, flexible cable with a spiral tip that can be inserted into the drain to break up and remove clogs. To use it, I first inserted the auger into the toilet and turned it to feed the cable through the drain until I reached the clog. Then, I rotated the auger to apply pressure and break up the clog. After clearing the blockage, I used a plunger to remove any remaining debris and ensure the drain was clear. This auger is an essential tool for plumbers, as it is versatile and can be used to clear clogs in sinks, showers, and even main sewer lines.

Cody diagnosed and repaired a somewhat complicated cast iron leak in my crawlspace. He informed me of all of my options and any possible risks of each. I recently completed a water service repair in a customer's front yard. The service pipe was 2' deep and made of 1" copper. The job involved disconnecting and removing the existing tank-style water heater, running new gas line and ventilation for the high-efficiency condensing unit, mounting the tankless heater, and integrating it with the home's plumbing lines and electrical service. Thermostatic mixing valves were employed to prevent scalding, per safety code requirements for instantaneous water heating appliances.

Working In the afternoon on a leaking 1/2" chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) hot water supply line was repaired at a residential property in Atlanta, Georgia. I recently completed a job where I replaced a customer's old toilet with a brand-new one, installed a brand-new garbage disposal, and installed a brand-new kitchen faucet that the customer had already purchased. Very professional and knowledgeable. The problem I called about was fixed easily however other problems were found due to the age of my house. Not emergencies but I appreciated them finding the issues and giving me a heads up so I can budget and plan for those repairs. Even found an issue that was not plumbing related in my crawl space. Called Chen Plumbing due to the many positive reviews and for the helpful advice given to me over the phone one Christmas Eve that solved the problem. Great service from technical and friendly perspective
I contacted Chen plumbing after business hours when I saw water stains on my bathroom ceiling. Mr. Chen responded immediately and scheduled me the next day. Eric & Josh were the plumbers dispatched to my home. Both were attentive, thorough and professional from initial contact to job completion. Eric diagnosed the issue (valve leaking) and provided a quote. Eric replaced valves, fixtures and updated plumbing in my guest bathroom that fixed the leak. Josh repaired master bathroom leak by replacing showerhead cartridge. Plumbers were skilled and considerate (wore shoe covers and swept and cleaned up afterwards). Highly recommended!
