Repaired main water line in front of water meter to stop on going leak on pex pipe
Customer has been experiencing high water bill. Isolated main waterline from meter to crawlspace Shut off. Noticed slight movement overtime, checked multiple times. Crawlspace main shut off is original gate valve to home built in the 1980s. Checked Remainder of house to see if any other potential leaks were occurring. Inspection of today’s plumbing service include washer, machine valve, box, under kitchen sink, three toilets and bathrooms throughout the home, icemaker line for refrigerator, Thermal expansion tank and psi check, hose spots on exterior, and crawlspace for potential pinhole leaks. No leaks, detected from visual inspection of plumbing and reason for in-depth diagnosis is due to potential gate valve Failure for main shut off. Recommended new waterline from meter to crawlspace. Estimate given.
Customer had leaking. Push to connect fitting on 3/8 T. Pressure to home was approximately 38 psi on a well system. There’s no thermal expansion tank. There is no warranty for work completed.
Replaced pressure regulator in garage and main shut off valve . We replaced pop up drain in upstairs hallway bathroom Main floor hallway bathroom shower head was replaced and adjusted sink aerator to stop it from spraying in different directions.
Our plumber, Eric was thorough and detailed about what was causing our issues. He stayed until the job was complete, even leaving to get a better tool to fix the issue. He returned promptly and remedied the issue. Very pleased with his service.

I found Chen from Google ratings. I called for help at 11 AM on Friday. They booked me for Monday. When I said I had no hot water, they said they would try to find a team that could come in the afternoon. Emails kept me in touch when the found a team and dispatched it. By 5 PM the team arrived. They found and fixed the problem quickly. But since they could not understand why it had happened; they continued to work on the phone with the manufacturer to try to eliminate the possibility that it would recur. By the time they left, I was convinced that I was not just lucky. Rather I am confident that Chen Plumbing is a well-organized company who wants to give good service and succeeds in doing so.

Got service within a day. Marcos and his buddy were great. Explained what was going on clearly. Although they found and fixed the problem very quickly, they continued to work with the manufacturer on the phone to try to find out why it had happened so that it wouldn't just come back.
Troubleshoot hybrid electric water heater , error code A129. resolution:check voltage and ohms for proper function. Everything thing read normal. Water heater was reset by reset button and continued to function normal. No more error codes. Home owner is going to keep an eye on it.

Cut drywall and installed valve on main service line as there was not one there that was accessible and tenant did not know where it was. Cut out old leaking hose bib and replaced. No further issue. 90 day warranty. Thank you for choosing Chen Plumbing.
Extended diagnosis for water leak in-home. Cut out ceiling in garage area or water spots. I had developed. Found two three-quarter inch copper lines going through flooring up into hallway bathroom upstairs. Joints looked in bad shape. Cut out base of cabinetry in hallway bathroom to inspect copper lines. Both overflows for dual vanity sink leak into cabinet area. Hot and cold side stop valves on right side of vanity are both compromised and slowly leaking. Check pressure on system approximately 88 to 90 psi. Thermal expansion tank failure water heater approximately 12 years old. Connected customer with mitigation company due to water damage and buckling floors.

Matthew Craven was assigned by Chen Plumbing to help us with an issue with a faulty basement drain pump. We were impressed with him on his first visit by his professionalism, competence and friendliness. He quickly diagnosed the problem and applied a low cost fix that worked for a few days. When it failed a few days later as he suspected it might, he returned late on Friday afternoon and disassembled the unit completely determining that build up on the internal float mechanism was contacting a part of the tubing preventing the pump from activating resulting in the overflow and leakage around the unit. He meticulously cleaned the internal mechanisms of the pump restoring full operational capability, again at minimal cost to us. We deeply appreciate the level of service and support that Matthew brings to our plumbing problems and especially appreciate his efforts to fix our plumbing problems as quickly as possible and at the lowest cost possible. He is our "go to" plumber from now on! He really is the best of the best!

Cut out bar sink pump basin and removed lid to find excessive amounts of debris growing on float. Debris on float was causing friction with ejection pipe. Approximately 1 cm thick of debris around float. Cleaned off pipe and float to obtain functionality. Discounted for military service and educator.

Customer had issues with basement bar sink pump not kicking off. Advise customer on putting any debris down. The sink for the pump is not supposed to handle food debris. Detached checked valve and inspected. Slightly adjusted positioning of pump in basin to acquire functionality. Gave estimate for replacement of three toilets.

For this job, I worked on clearing kitchen sink and installed new angle stop that was leaking for fridge water supply. Also installed a new 1/4 turn main shut off for hose bib that was leaking. Installed a main 3/4 shut off as courtesy.
Installed new Bradford White water heater. Drained and removed old unit. Installed new 50-gallon power vent model. Connected to existing gas line with flexible connector. Installed new temperature and pressure relief valve. Set to 120°F. Flushed lines and tested for proper operation and venting.
Replaced an old faucet with a new, efficient model, ensuring a secure and leak-free fit. Repaired the toilet by fixing a faulty flush valve, improving water flow and preventing continuous running.

Price is to get tall ladder for cutting drywall to move drain to correct place for free standing tub. Will set the tub properly with a centered drain and trap. Chen Plumbing isn’t responsible for repairs to any cuts made to access plumbing.
