Attempting repay, but not successful, no charge

Customer had blockage affecting main floor from cast-iron section in basement. Reviewed work and suggested to replace section of cast-iron due to age and issue at hand. Replaced 3 inch section of cast-iron and 2 inch section of cast-iron to vertical points below in basement. Secured pipe with J hooks then ran water to check for leaks in proper drainage function. Also left quote for water heater due to age of heater being 20 years old. Pressure is good.

The issue was the wire nuts on top of the heater, they weren’t fully seated on the wires, I replaced the wire nuts and checked the ohms and the volts ohms (12-14) range and the volts were reading and 120v. The heater is buzzing on the inside. I removed top and bottom cover plates to test the water heater

Customer needing 8 gutter drains jetted out and a toilet rebuilt that was running occasionally. Informed customer we could jet the line but we couldn’t guarantee to clear them, and that we could replace the fill valve and flapper on the toilet. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new fill valve and flapped on the toilet and dye tested it to make sure it was no longer running. Ran jetter through all the drains and made sure they were draining properly. All drains are draining now. The drain on the back right of the house has a crack but is still draining. As a courtesy we augered a toilet and glued on a cleanout cap in the back yard for the customer. Toilet is working properly and gutter drains are draining upon departure.

Upon arrival customer stated they are experiencing a high water bill. Checked meter, meter is not currently spinning and reading 0.00 rate.. Provided customer with estimates to test both toilets for leaks and also to replace water service. Customer can also call American Leak detection to come out and locate leak if one is present.

Shut off water to home and drain system. Remove Roman tub diverter handle and cartridge. Install new special order cartridge and spray hose customer supplied. Install and test for proper operation and leaks. Clean workspace Shut off water to home at the meter. Drain down system and remove hose faucet stems on both backyard faucets. Rebuild frost free hose faucet and one traditional style faucet with new gasket and seals. Test for proper operation after repairs. Clean workspace

Returned to reroute sewer line to the back of the house and run a new sewer line down to the city tap. Had concrete guys come out and cut back porch as well as the laundry room up to access old sewer cast iron sewer line. Re routed sewer line out of the back of the house added a new penetration to the wall. Ran sewer line down back yard and around to connect back to the city’s tap. Added a two way cleanout right past the back porch and a cleanout at the city line. Flushed all toilets and ran sinks/showers to check for leaks and found no leaks. Bedded in sewer line and made sure it has proper slope. Sewer line is flowing properly and no leaks upon departure

Customer had filter to replace in crawlspace. Offered small plumbing inspection, which Customer approved. After checking pressure and giving ballpark pricing. Customer was displeased with pricing attempted to re-organize pricing for better deal, but Customer had already began doing the work himself.

CUSTOMER, we will be installing a dvca backflow preventer in the ground with a new meter box following that we will have to run 22 feet of tax pipe to the designated area in 1 inch. The customer currently already has the meter set up for the irrigation system. Then we will have to tie back into the valve. Additionally, what we will have to do is make sure all the fittings are glued and primed for proper installation to furthermore, the customer will be trenching the grass for the waterline itself so the customer is responsible for the trenching job is scheduled for Monday first call

Customer wanted a gas line installed for gas dryer. Gave customer quote customer did not agree to pricing.

Rebuild toilet on main level powder room. Remove old internal parts of toilet and install new fill valve and new flapper. Supply line to toilet was replaced with stop valve by Chen about month prior. Test toilet for proper operation and clean workspace Checked water heater and pressure to home. Heater is working great since installed about month ago and pressure is 65 psi in home. All plumbing is working properly

Removed existing water heater and hauled away. Furnished and install new 50 gallon electric water heater. Installed shut off on hot side and installed new thermal expansion tank with bracket. Tested and no leaks were present at this time. Also turned on shut off valve for hose bib outback. Cleaned up work area.

Customer previously had backup in basement bathroom. Fail to get bathroom to back up, informed customer we could pull toilet and run camera through drain. Also informed customer if we found a blockage, we would have to run drain machine. Customer stated she would think about options and call us back.

Upon arrival, customer stated they’re experiencing a water service leak. After inspection found water service leak coming from broken shark bite fitting. Cut out two shark bites, installed new pex to copper adapters. Water service no longer has any leaks at departure. Also aired out water throughout home.

Customer stated that she was having a sewer fly problem and wanted us to locate source. Also customer wanted us to flush floor drains. Looked around and found that basement is on a sewer injection pump. Gave customer quote to inspect pump and flush floor drains. Went ahead and removed lid to pump basin and found lots of flys in there. Also noticed that lid wasn’t properly sealed and recommend replacing lid with gaskets. Also flushed floor drain by running hose through drain with house water pressure. Also recommend to customer to use all fixtures in basement at least once a month. If customer proceeds with lid replacement will credit back some of the charge from today. Cleaned up work area.

Returned and installed a new prv, whole house shutoff, Flo by Moen, and 50 gallon gas water heater. Installed the new water heater with a new pan, shutoff, and thermal expansion tank. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Set up Flo device on customers phone and connected the device.

Upon arrival, customer stated the garbage disposal is not working properly and is backing up. Found garbage disposal reset button to be tripped, once reset button was pressed, found garbage disposal to be jammed. While attempting to unjam garbage disposal, found leak coming from garbage disposal. Informed customer, gave customer estimate to replace garbage disposal. Customer approved estimate for half horsepower garbage disposal replacement. Installed new half horsepower garbage disposal, garbage disposal is working and not leaking at departure. Also provide a customer with estimate to rework drain lines for kitchen sink.

Customer stated that they needed old drain and waterlines capped off. Gave customer quote to do so and customer agreed. Went ahead and shut water off to building and cut and capped off copper lines. Also cut and cap PVC line. Turn water back on and tested and no leaks were present at this time. Also previous visit customer wanted faucet replaced. Will honor estimate to have faucet replaced of $1100. Also attempted to locate Prv and wasn’t able to find it. Customer will attempt to locate Prv so we can replace it. Also Prv may be buried in ground by meter which we can dig up area to see if we can locate it.

Customer wanted to look at several items for install/replace. After doing small inspection of home gathered quotes for Customer wife had to leave unable to reach husband on phone to discuss options. Unable to give accurate estimate for under slab line work until we run camera. willing to run camera at no cost along with other work. Customer currently does not have water heater.

Fill out low flow dekalb county compliance form. Left estimates for water service replacement and heater replacement options

Customer does not like toilet height. Shower head is making a whining noise. Pressure is 125 psi. Gave estimates

Diagnosed tankless water heater not providing consistent hot water. Found tankless to be 12 years old and missing service valves. Left estimates to resolve plumbing issue.

Furnish and installed new kitchen faucet, throughly tested for any leaks. Everything is working as intended at this time.

I did member yearly inspection today , found few things , two quote to the customer for new toilets , faucet, hose bibs , and kitchen code violations fix

Diagnosed couple fixtures in guest home not getting proper flow. Tested pressure and pressure was 78psi. Found restriction at fixtures themselves, Disassembled shower heads and aerators from faucets and cleaned out all debris. At same time flushed heater and cleared lots of debris and buildup from heater tank. Tested fixtures and proper flow restored. Shut off water to heater and drain down. Remove ruptured thermal expansion tank and install new thermal expansion tank with mounting bracket. Secure and test for proper operation and leaks. Clean work space.
