The customer complained about the toilet water level being low, and it’s not like the other toilets, the other toilets are 1.6 gallon per flush rather than 1.28 gallons per flush as a result it’s less water and there’s no way to add more water to the bowl.
Quoted repair or replacement water line , and new water heater , could not reach customer, we just emailed quotes
Fast, reliable, affordable and great service.
Shut water off to home to adjust cartridge. Customer stated that shower that was recently replaced wasn’t getting hot. Stated to customer that cartridge may have scolded guard that needs to be adjusted. Went ahead and shut water off to home as a precaution and took off handle from shower valve and adjusted scolded guard. Turned water back on and tested and now shower is getting hot water to customer satisfaction.
Customer has cartridges leaking in Roman tub valve. Problem has happened several times in short period of time expanded ideas to try to find additional reasons as to why cartridges fail so quickly found 5 gallon thermal expansion tank serving 100 gallons of hot water to be bad predicted additional pressure from thermal expansion to be the cause of cartridge going bad Leak seems to be warm water. Will return to replace cartridges and then expansion tank when parts arrive. Replace both Moen Roman tub cartridges and replaced 5 gallon thermal expansion tank with new bracket secured at wall after work was complete completed. Check for leaks and proper function.
Came out to this house because the water in the master bathroom shower wasn’t getting hot fast enough. The recirculation pump was set to on rather than timer hot water issue. It was previously set a timer at some point changed however, if this doesn’t fix the issue, I recommend replacing the pump
I would like to take a moment to thank Dawson and Austin for their total professional attitude from inspection to giving a quote to clean up. They showed great stamina and were polite and smiling throughout the project. And it was a huge project with busted and rusted main wrought iron sewer pipes going all the way out and halfway into the back yard. We wish them the very best.
Thank you, Alka! We appreciate your kind words and are glad to hear that Dawson and Austin provided such professional service throughout your project. Wishing you all the best as well!
Cody was great!
Customer had a 17 year old water heater she wanted replaced proactively. Gave quote and scheduled work for Friday the 20th. Improved flow in shower head as a courtesy.
For this customer they had a few issues going on, the customer had a reverse osmosis system that was improperly plumbed into the system so therefore, I had to do a couple things to make it right with that in mind. The we took out the old system and left it in the garage. I did not take it with me because the customer does not know if they want to reinstalled or not. Nothing is wrong with the reverse osmosis system however the way that they had their drain line hooked up for the reverse osmosis system was incorrect so therefore I had to remove it and disassemble it to furthermore, they also have Nash trap going into their drain line. It had to be reconfigured with an AAv, in order to properly flow. In addition to that they had a dream that was slow in the bathroom for the bathtub. The linkage for the overflow had broken off on the inside of the overflow tube so I recommend we remove that and the drain should flow just fine and that is exactly what it does now This time there are no fur
Returned to install faucet for kitchen sink as well as a new expansion tank. Installed new faucet and expansion tank and turned water back on to check for leaks. Sink is working properly and a new expansion tank is installed. No leaks upon departure
Returned Monday morning to replace the rest of the cast iron under the slab. We removed the vanity and toilet. Jackhammered through the slab and demo’d the bathroom where needed. Dug down outside foundation wall to have somewhere to tie back into temporarily. Cut out the cast iron pipe and replace up to the stacks above the slab so slab wouldn’t have to be removed again for any more repairs on the drains. We also replaced the drain going back to the lavatory sink. Tested to ensure a leak free installation and proper function. Left for the day. Returned Tuesday morning and dug with an excavator 30’ from the house and replace the cast iron outside. Found a section of concrete pipe to tie back into. Camera’d the rest of the line and confirmed no other active issues going on on the customers sewer line. Installed new pvc line and confirmed a leak free installation. Bedded pipe before back filling and grading yard. Returned Wednesday morning with a dump trailer and hauled off all of the con
Tim Chen’s crew is the best. Always friendly and professional!
Customer stated that when hot water is on in shower it would go cold. At first thought it was a cartridge issue, but then noticed same issue at laboratory faucet. And then once all fixtures were on in unit, there was just lukewarm water. Send it to customer that the little electric tankless water heater that he has isn’t sufficient enough for the unit. Will send customer estimate to install 40 gallon lowboy water heater.
Dishwasher not draining upon arrival. Customer stated the dishwasher will no longer drain. After looking noticed clog at the disposal inlet where the dishwasher drain hooks up. Informed customer we could clear that blockage out of the disposal and make sure the rest of the drain line was clear. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Cleared blockage from disposal and hooked shop vac up to dishwasher drain and was able to suck the water out of the dishwasher meaning the drain line is clear. Ran dish washer but dishwasher would not drain itself. Informed customer to call an appliance guy to resolve any further issue with the appliance.
This customer came out to their home because they had a supply line leaking from an angle stop on the cpvc, the supply line was a copper tubes supply line in the connection for the water had failed as a result. It started producing a small drip, indicating that the supply line had failed so therefore gave her a couple different recommendations and options to do and we went ahead and replaced the supply line on the cold side because that is where it was leaking tied back into the faucet turn off the water to the home just because of the brittle cpvc, from there turn the water back on to indicate that there are no further leaks in the customer is all set

Call to reconnect sink and components after new countertop install. Arrived and met with Ms. Christina and Keith. New countertops were installed, but plumbing was left off. Further, the hot side shut off valve was leaking a moderate amount. When inspecting existing components and install request, I found: Faucet was a new glacier bay single handle pull down style. All components present and undamaged. Garbage disposal had rust on both organic collar, and the mounting bracket. Gasket was dry rotted. Shut off valve needed to be rebuilt, and debris removed. Drain lines are copper, and were configured for double basin shallow sink. I installed provided faucet. Rebuilt hot side shut off valve, removed gasket debris and cleaned threads. Returned water service to home. Installed new garbage disposal and mounting bracket. Direct wired unit in, and replumbed drain line to accommodate single basin deep sink. I elected to cap secondary line off, as dish washer drained through disposal, and d
Cody was amazing and very knowledgeable patient and informative!! did a great job with the whole house… thank you again - Jill
Started on approved work today. Replacing two flanges and resetting both toilets. Also replumbed kitchen sink including two new basket strainers. Also replaced improper p-traps in two different bathrooms. (Downstairs bathroom and left side master). Will return to continue work tomorrow.
For this customer, they have a two handle shower valve faucets facing an exterior wall. The homeowners are moving in a couple months and they’re selling their home and they just want this issue resolved without being intrusive and cutting the tile or cutting the exterior of the house got it approved by management to go ahead with the repair. I’m unable to locate the shower stem locally so therefore the customer has to order the part For the shower stem so therefore what I recommended is for them to order the part get it delivered to their house and once it is installed, we can come back out and put the new one in the water pressure is at 45 psi and the water heater is from 2021. We installed the water heater. We have this job scheduled for next Monday however, if the customer gets the parts in before then we can go ahead with the repair.
Returning tomorrow once the faucet arrives to install a new faucet and a new expansion tank
After the customer approved the estimate to repair the felt section of sewer line, additional issues were discovered further downstream. The customer was informed of the most effective long-term solution to replace the remaining section of sewer from the point of repair towards the street. If sewer line is found to be compromised beyond the point of connection at the tap, the county will be notified to address and replace the portion of their sewer line under their responsibility. As part of the scope, a new 6 inch cleanout will be installed near the street for future access all work will be thoroughly tested upon completion. All piping will be properly beded, and all excavated soil will be properly backfilled. Photos and video documentation will be collected throughout the process and added to the invoice. Completed work mentioned above with no issues, pipe leading out to street is in typical age condition however still flowing at this time.
Customers washing machine flooded upon arrival. Customer stated the washer machine over flowed onto the floor. After running water down the drain line and making sure it was clear to the city’s tap, informed customer she had no drain issue that the issue was the washing machine.
Brylen was awesome! Very thorough in assessing the situation, kept me informed of the findings, worked hard in completing the job and cleaned up the work site. I called Chen Plumbing on a Monday afternoon and they put us down for the very next morning. Highly recommend.
Client called us out due to one of their caregivers flushing “flushable” wipes down the toilet, which is on cast iron piping from the 70’s probably. It had backup up the tub as well, but no other fixtures were affected. Removed the water and paper from that toilet and pulled it up. Ran the sewer camera down the line an hit a large blockage of wipes and paper. It took a minute, but after a lot of passes through it, I was able to free it up and get it cleared with the camera. Cast iron actually looks fairly good inside, video included. The water shutoff for the toilet would no longer shut the water off, so we replaced that failed water shutoff on 1/2” copper with new angle stop, new toilet supply line, and new chrome escutcheon over the hole. Sat toilet back down on new wax ring and tested. Threw a shim under the toilet to sturdy it up, client is now good to go. Home water pressure is 65 psi, safe range is 50-79 psi. Did leave estimate for that pressure reducing valve due to the condit
For this job we replaced the tub drain on the bathroom tub in the hallway, the previous putty and the rubber seal had corroded as a result it started to leak, it was just a small drip coming from the front side of the drain. We had came out here to figure out if it was related to the previous work preformed however it wasn’t. So therefore we replaced the tub drain with a brand new one and put in a new seal and putty. Once complete we checked for a leak. We ran a good amount of water to insure it wasn’t leaking anymore. Following that I put the Moen trim plate back on with the handle and resealed the trim plate with clear caulk. Once complete there is no leaks from repair.
Call for no water pressure on hot side in kitchen faucet. Arrived and met with Matthew. He showed me the kitchen faucet which had poor flow from the hot side. All other fixtures have normal flow. Inspection revealed a slight drip on the hot side shut off valve. Both shut off valves are very old. I discussed options and concerns, stating the shut off valve gaskets have broken off and caused a blockage in the lines. I rebuilt shut off valves. After restoring water I attempted to back flush the faucet to clear the blockage, but the blockage was not able to be removed. Checked water pressure and read at 62 psi at 11am on a weekday. Matthew did express that some symptoms of early prv failure were present, specifically high pressure in the early morning when water is first being used. This is consistent with a pressure regulating valve failing in the early stages. There has also been significant main waterline repairs done to the neighborhood, which has likely contributed to premature
Customer needing two kitchen faucets upon arrival. Customer stated he purchased two new Kohler faucets to install. Informed customer we could install the two new ones. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed two new customer supplied faucets. Turned water back on to check for leaks, found no leaks. Faucets are working properly and no leaks upon departure
Upstairs rebuild 3 toilets and also rebuild 1 toilet on main floor. Also snake shower drain in master bath. On main floor rebuilt, toilet by replacing fill valve flapper supply line and also trip lever. Upstairs for two toilets replaced fill valve, flapper, supply line and trip lever. And for one toilet upstairs, just replaced fill valve flapper, and supply line. Tested all toilets and no leaks were present this time and no toilet toilets were running at this time. Also snake master bath shower, drain and pulled back lots of hair. Afterwards tested and now shower is draining as it should. Cleaned up work area.
Customer had high water bill which was caused by a few correlating issues one being toilet upstairs in hall bath continuously running, two tub and downstairs bathroom in basement dripping, and three pressure to home was 95 psi. After reviewing, gave customer options for repair/replacements. In order to relocate PRV did need to cut small hole in wall of bathroom. Explain to customer we do not repair sheet rock PRV is now in more accessible area. Pressure is now set to 60 psi checked meter and found no leak after repair repairs.
Client called us out due to a leak coming from a faucet supply line in the upstairs daughter’s bathroom. It did cause a little water damage but client is about to remodel that section anyways. Left estimate to replace the water lines for that bathroom when that is done, as the old water pipe is still galvanized pipe. The leak was on the cold side supply line, and client turned off the shutoff and it still dripped, indicating the shutoff wasn’t working. Turned water off and replaced the angle stop valve and had to get a 3/8” bushing to fit the new size shutoff. Tightened everything down with a new faucet supply and tested. All good. 55 psi to home. 1 yr warranty
