Is CUSTOMER we installed a brand new half horsepower garbage disposal in the kitchen. The previous garbage disposal was a three-quarter horsepower KitchenAid garbage disposal. It was an end of life, but more importantly the blades on the inside of the unit were rusted and removed so therefore it was not grinding the food out and flowing down the drain so I needed to be done was a new disposal to be installed the CUSTOMER two options of what we could put in CUSTOMER went with the half horsepower for the rental property. Once everything was installed. There were no leaks what was installed, though was the new bracket for the disposal with brand new putty and I’ll be necessary fittings associated with it to furthermore the new disposal, garbage disposal, keys left to the side in the new drain piece once everything was installed there are no leaks
Minor toilet rebuild Service stop replacement For this customer we came out for an issue with a toilet. The toilet either constantly runs or runs every once in awhile. So I had a couple of recommendations, we Can replace the internal parts of the toilet, or we can replace the toilet as a whole, the stop needed to replaced as well, for therefore we replaced the internal works of the toilet, replaced the fill valve, the toilet level and the flapper. Additionally we needed to replace the shut off valve. Installed a new supply line and new cover plate. Once installed there are no leaks. Toilet is fixed customer is all set. Water pressure is at 50 psi. Water heater is from 2024. Thank you for calling Chen plumbing.
Replaced a old galv / blue poly water service line from water meter , bore under the sidewalk , installed 1” pex pipe with shut off and box after water meter , new hole drilled thru foundation connect to existing copper pipe in basement.
Cleared main line blockage from toilet pull and reset in lower level , found old cast iron pipe had bad belly and caused back up , need reroute to the back
Replaced two hose bibbs with new uponor pipe and shut off valves , replaced basement kitchen faucet with new stop valves and new supply line , discussed and signed up membership with customer

Emergency call for plumbing work following cosmetic tile work in bathroom. Arrived and met with Sharie. She had recent bathroom tile work being done, and a CPVC waterline was accidentally struck. The work has been completed and water was turned back on. I inspected the work performed, and found the following: All work was completed according to IPC (an international plumbing code), and manufacturer requirements. The solvents used were applied correctly, all cuts and unions appear to be done correctly, The pipes are structurally supported in an adequate manner, and no leaks are present. Water pressure was restored, and there is no longer any risk of leaks or damage to other units. Water pressure is maintained at 50psi by the building/HOA. Our assessment is that the floor is ready to be enclosed. All plumbing meets current IPC and state code requirements. No further actions are required. Tim Chen Master License : MP208427
Rebuild upstair Kohler toilet with new fill valve and yellow flush valve seal
Seth was assigned to us and after an inspection of the issue he thoroughly explained the work, made recommendations and, worked with me on various pricing options. Once the work commenced, he was thorough, efficient and the quality is top notch. I couldn’t be happier with the end result and the cost. Well done!
Replaced leaking in-line filter. Installed new filter with bypass valves. Also repiped section of main water line with copper piping. No leaks at departure.
Route 1/4” copper tubing from black iron lines in basement up through walls, drill out to new lanterns, connect each line, test for function and a leak free installation.
Today we replaced an old 40 gal gas short water heater, supply and installed a new Rheem pro 40 gal gas short heater , pan , expansion tank and new water shut off valve installed as well .
Supply and install wag water automatic shut off valve for customer with $200 off
Returned to replace 50 ft section of cast iron, rebuild p tap under shop sink and replace 12 stops with new supply lines. Cut out and replaced bad section of cast iron and replaced with new pvc pipe. Installed 12 new quarter turn stops with new supply lines, replaced PRV and whole home shutoff as well as the shutoff for the outside hose Bibb. Turned water back on to check for leaks and found no leaks. Tested new PVC line for leaks as well as the shop sink. Sewer line is flowing properly and has no leaks. All stops are working properly. No leaks upon departure
Replaced failed cartridge in walk in shower in back bathroom. Shower is no longer dripping and working properly at departure. Water pressure is current set at 60 psi.
Customer was looking for a quote on smoke test for smell that has been an issue for the past 15 years. Explain to Customer possible scenarios, and gave options for attempts to fix issue. Did not enter home.
Customer stated that gas company found gas leak by meter. Tested and found 2 leaks in gas line going to pool heater. Went ahead and made repair on gas line and also reworked gas line so if need be it can be serviced in future. Tested repair and there was no leaks present at this time. Painted repair and cleaned up work area. Stated to customer that in order to check underground line for leaks we will need to do pressure test. Also by pool heater found corroded gas pipe that will need to be replaced in future.
Diagnosed toilet constantly running in master bathroom. Found fill valve not working. Tested pressure in home for any underlying issues. Pressure is at 52. Shut off water for toilet at stop valve. Removed and installed new fill valve, flapper seal, and toilet supply line. Tested toilet for proper operation. Cleaned work area
Install two service stop valves for kitchen sink New kitchen sink faucet Win with Chen For this customer we came back to a reservice for another leak in the kitchen cabinet area. For the issue at hand, upon further inspection, the kitchen sink faucet was leaking, and looked to be supply line failure. The faucet the didn’t have shut off valves in the bottom of the cabinet. So we installed new 1/4 shut off valves in the bottom of the cabinet. The previous faucet leaked and leaked behind the cabinet and the water went down through the basement. I called the property restoration company to figure out what needs to be completed. Additionally I provided estimates to install the new sink and install the new drain line. For the vertical line and then the lateral line into the sewer line.
Anthony is awesome and super knowledgeable. Company estimate for jetting is $400 - $500 significantly higher than other jetting bids for same work
Looked at pool deck drain. Customer wants to try and clear their self.
Diagnosed issue with lavatory faucet not working properly on left side in upstairs bedroom bathroom. Upon arrival Noticed faucet was not hooked up to water or drain. Took off caps on service stops and reinstalled supply lines and installed new p trap for lavatory faucet. Turned on faucet and tested thoroughly for proper operation. No leaks found after work completed and after testing.
Two trips , disconnect and reconnect the existing water heater , installed back in same location
Came out and did annual tankless flush and performed whole home membership inspection. Found 3 stop valves in the jack and Jill bathroom that are not shutting off the water or have visible corrosion. We left a quote to replace the valves. Found no other issue at this time. Notified homeowner their main sewer line running out to the street is still original to the home. Customer had a filter he asked us to swap real quick as well. Showed him how to do it.

Unjam 5/8hp garbage disposal. Also adjusted toilet handle. Both garbage disposal and toilet handle are working properly at departure.
Found water heater at old age. Replaced water heater with new water heater in mechanical room off of living room.
Performed Win With Chen annual plumbing inspection and water heater flush. Water heater is flushed and working properly at departure. Found two stops not properly working in basement bathroom. In kitchen, the hot emergency stop is not shutting water off completely. In hallway bathroom, customer stated they have to flush toilet multiple times. Found water level to be too low due to wrong flush valve.
Cusomters disposal not working properly. After testing disposal found disposal to be leaking. Offered small inspection of home, customer was not interested. Gave options to replace disposal. After replacement checked for leaks and proper function.

For someone who managed properties and really cared about the residence not getting taken by vendor I have dealt with hundreds and hundreds of vendor over the years. Sad to say the majority lacked integrity and/or they didn’t know what they were doing. Most if not all well known brands were the worst of all - rip offs and arrogant about it. Chase and Chen Plumbing is on the rare complete other end of the spectrum. Actual, no BS, integrity and honesty almost unheard of these days. Highly Highly Highly 100% recommend.

This has literally been the best experience with a contractor ever; Chen Plumbing responded quickly and efficiently to my request for a service appointment; Shawn Bush and Christian Perez showed up on time, met with me for an extended period to diagnose the issues I raised and proposed very direct, clear and effective solutions. My first experience with Chen plumbing was excellent. Super responsive. I did not feel ripped off like I do with so many big name plumbing companies. Chase was great. My confidence level was such that I am planning to schedule more work and feel I may have finally found a plumbing company I can refer to others. Speaking with the on-site technician Chase instilled further confidence due to his straight forward approach, honesty, and lack of trying to over sell me. So many of the Large well-known companies push their employees to hunt for other ways to make the company money whether its needed or not in the home. $400 to unclog a kitchen sink using normal snake method processes seems unreasonably high, even in today’s market where prices are high. The tech was friendly and professional.
