Customer contacted us for a suspected leak behind a toilet. Upon arrival, we performed a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system and fixture area. We determined the toilet flange had failed, allowing water to seep beneath the fixture and into the sub floor area and crawl space .We documented the condition and provided video evidence for the customer. We removed the affected toilet and rebuilt an additional restroom toilet while on site due to deterioration of the sub floor, the customer will need to have the subfloor repaired/rebuilt before we can properly reset and secure the toilet to prevent future issues. Toilet rebuilt was confirmed to be working as intended via dye test.

Client called us out today due to one of their lavatory widespread faucets on a pedestal sink was constantly dripping. We checked home water pressure and it creeped up to 95 psi, which is a good bit higher than our safe range of 50-79 psi. Located the old pressure reducing valve in the crawlspace and it looks to be original to the home. We replaced that failed water pressure reducing valve with new of same model in 3/4”. Also replaced the old whole home water shutoff with new 3/4 propress ball valve for reliable use if client ever needs to shut water off. For the dripping faucet, client just wanted the leak stopped and the lines capped. We removed the old water shutoffs and escutcheons, added new escutcheons and capped the 2 lines with 1/2” propress caps. Turned water back on and tested, no issues or leaks. 1 yr warranty Client payed via check

Customer has small leak on 4 inch cast-iron drain in basement area. Gave options for partial and full drain line replacement. Customer wants to talk over decision with spouse and will give answer later.

For the job, I worked on flushing out 250 gallon water heater tanks in the guest bedroom bathroom in the basement. There is a small utility closet that holds both 50 gallon water heaters that we had installed back in 2022 had to flush the first one which is the one on the left and then the second one on the right Flush both tanks out. So that they were completely empty I did a shake test on the one on the left to indicating that it is empty however, I wasn’t able to move it that much due to the fact the way that they are currently piped together the water pressure on the home is normal. It is at 55 psi. After the flush of both water heaters, I made sure to turn the breakers back on after the water heaters filled up all the way, indicating that there would be no issues with the thermostat or elements burning out once complete. There are no leaks of any kind CUSTOMER should get hot water anywhere from 45 to an hour after leaving.

Client called us out due to the home inspection failing for 7 different plumbing issues. We went in and assessed all the different issues to get a proper estimate to do all the work the correct way to pass inspection. Talked with client and went over everything with pictures as well. Emailed estimates over with invoice. Our best # to complete this large amount of work to get home up to code is $8200, with a 2 yr warranty

Returned after estimate was approved by customer customer approve installation of dual PRV’s set up consisting of one high-pressure PRV rated for harsher conditions and the secondary standard PRV. The first PRV knocks the incoming pressure from approximately 130 psi down to roughly 90 psi, while the second PRV further reduces pressure from approximately 90 psi down to 60 psi. This configuration extends the service life of the PRV’s and provides improved long-term system protection. We furnish and installed both PRV’s and added a boiler drain between the units to allow isolated pressure testing of the high-pressure PRV. System was pressurized, tested and verified to be operating correctly upon departure.

Call for leaking water heater. Met with Charlie and discussed the issue. He showed me the water heater, which had water pooling below it for the last day. Charlie said they haven’t had any issues with the water heater until now. Inspection and diagnostics: Pressure on home at~68psi at ~10am on a Monday, taken at back hose spigot* (There is pressure escape allowing water to feed from cold to hot, and trickle back in to water heater. So this reading may be artificially low). Prv is dated as being manufactured in the end of 2017, making it likely installed 7-8 years ago. Galvanized water line appears to have been replaced withcopper, though galvanized tee and line exist for hose spigot and main connection. Thermal expansion tank is connected on HOT side of water heater, has no support, and the bladder is ruptured. Tank weight is pulling copper pipe to the left. These symptoms lead me to believe pressure regulating valve is failing, allowing high pressure events to cause damage to plumb

Checked out basement bathroom smell issue , tested water running , checked sewer pump operation, pump was not pumping at present time ,water was running out from gasket where pump cord is ,checked inside from removed gasket , shaked pipe , made pump comes on , is working at present time , but smell still escaping from gasket where cord is , because of age of the pump , recommended to customer replace pump and with new lid and seal all together

Returned to install new recirculating pump on top of the water heater and installed new lavatory faucet with a crossover T underneath to get hot water faster to that bathroom. Turned water back on to check for leaks, found no leaks. Turned on Recirc pump to make sure the upstairs got hot water fast enough. Upstairs is getting hot water fast, recirculating pump is fired up and set on a timer. No leaks upon departure. Informed customer stop on hot side needs to be replace due to it causing low pressure on the hot side.

Returned to install new 50 gal electric water heater and disconnect steamer. Installed new water heater with new expansion tank, and a new shutoff. Removed old steamer and got rid of water line for the steamer. Turned water back on to check for leaks. Found no leaks. Water heater is heating and working properly. No leaks upon departure

Found high water pressure almost at 100 psi , add main water shut off valve 3/4 ball valve and watts AUB 25 Prv today in crawl space .

For this customer, we installed a brand new half horsepower garbage disposal in the kitchen. The other one was from 2015. However, we did try to gym for replacing the unit and unit to be unjammed and as a result needed to replace the unit so that is exactly what we did swapped it for another half horsepower garbage disposal And the customer is all set with a brand new one installed the new waste flange with brand new putty had to be very gentle on the type of sink this was it was partial cast-iron and partial plastic acrylic. It was an older blue sink so I’d be very careful on Putting the new disposal in once complete. There are no leaks. The water pressure on the house is 45 psi the water heater is in the attic unfortunately I didn’t get to take a look at that. CUSTOMER is all set with a new disposal.

Call for water heater not producing hot water. Arrived and met with Kelsey. She said the water heater stopped working in the last day. They tried resetting the breaker and switch and it had no effect. Inspection: water pressure read ok at 60psi on a weekday midafternoon. Water heater is an 80 gallon electric unit. Unit is plumbed in for a recirculating pump, but no pump is present. When checking power I found breaker has not been tripped, and power was going to unit. However, there was a leak on the hot out nipple, and water has entered the electrical box. Water was inside, and wires have melted together. Due to age of unit and risk of further electrical issues, Ms. Kelsey elected to replace the unit. As they have removed the tub from the master bathroom, and this is a three bathroom house with only Mr. And Mrs. Sanders living here, Kelsey asked if a smaller water heater would suffice. I discussed the possible shortcomings, including less available hot water and potential for longer

Client called us out to install their new customer supplied commercial ice maker machine. We disconnected the old unit to then install the new one already on site with all new pvc drain with vent on top of the discharge, and it ran to the floor drain grate just behind the unit. They also wanted a ball valve added on the hot line going to the dishwasher for future dishwasher installation. We installed a 1/2” sharkbite ball valve per client request. Since we were shutting the water off and all the other shutoffs In that area we’re looking rough and missing handles, we replaced 4 angle stops in the process. Turned water on to unit and it seems to be operating as it should be. Stopped a couple leaks and unit is running. 1 yr labor warranty

Replaced grey poly water line from water meter to the home under the stair with concrete breaking and fix back , add shut off valve outside with a box Also replaced an over 20 years old 40 gallon gas water heater with a new Rheem pro gas heater , new gas shut off valve and flexible gas connector installed

Customer had copper gas line going to fireplace with small leak in crawlspace. Replaced approximately 20 feet of copper gas line with track pipe. Also removed additional line in crawlspace that was terminated a while back after replacement spray tested areas of connections to check for leaks cycled fireplace for proper ignition.

Client called us out today due to the toilet another tech worked on recently not working as it should. To be sure everything was new in that toilet I installed a Mansfield red seal for the flush valve that was there, replaced the toilet fill valve, and also replaced the toilet supply line to a new braided supply due to old one being old poly. Tested our work and toilet is now flushing and filling as it should. Warranty no collect.

Returned to run new water service. Had shon directional bore water service. Connected at meter and connected to stub out. Turned on water to check for leaks. Found no leaks. Customer has new shutoff at the meter. Customer also needs to contact the city in regards to the meter not lighting up at all.
