Here is the backstory. I have used Tim for over $8000 worth of work over the past 3.5 years. As you know, he is expensive but does a good job. A month ago, his tech came out to replace a pressure relief value and water shut off values. The tech used a ProPress to attach new fittings onto the water line. We have PVC water line from the street meter thru a basement block wall. The water line was damaged when the tech pulled the pvc pipe off the wall slightly and caused a slight leak at a junction point right inside the block. I ask Tim to cover this under warranty since the block was totally dry before the pressure value was installed. He said this is a separate issue despite they were here 5 weeks ago. It’s a very slight weep , so it took time to manifest itself onto the block wall. Tim said it would be almost 1000 bucks because he has to dig. And by the way, I have a monthly service contract. I’m am not a happy the way I’m being treated.

Replace hose Bibb from front wall Will need to chip some brick some brick to clean the copper pipe in order to sweat a new one on For this job, I couldn’t sweat the fitting due to all the dust and debris so I had to put a proper connection on the pipe, but also a chip away some of the brick in order to get it to sit as as close as the wall as possible Installed a new hose bib with a half inch male once completed. There are no leaks from the copper pipe. CUSTOMER is all set to use their hose faucet as needed. Water pressure is at 75 psi in addition to that water heater is brand new installed by us. No further leaks at this time

My entire experience with Chen Enterprises plumbing was relaxed and satisfying from the friendly and knowledge receptionist, Suzanne, through the efficient and quality completion of work by an accomplished plumber Cody. With 12 years of diversified experience, he was very personable, explained how he would execute the repair and worked with confidence in completing the repair quickly. He tested the solution and documented the before/after plumbing. He also surveyed the environment ensuring there were no pending problems. The work area was in a very congested crawl space but Cody never complained about it, and was proud of the work completed showing me pictures for my records. My family will be using Chen for all future needs and remodeling and we're recommending Cody and Chen to our homeowners source book. A very satisfying experience and Suzanne provided confirmation of the appointment and updates on the arrival of the technician. This is a well seasoned company with superior customer service and workmanship. A great find!
