Client called us out due to a sewage backup at the far end of home in the laundry room, up out of that laundry room toilet. While we were there client asked us to also take care of an old and rusty garbage disposal, and also an abandoned drain pipe, open and just stubbed up through the floor. We installed the new customer supplied garbage disposal in kitchen and cut out that abandoned pipe. We also abandoned the old cast iron kitchen waste arm in the wall that the kitchen was still draining in to and stubbed up new pvc pipe through same hole, added a tee and an air admittance valve under the sink for that fixtures vent. Also added new tubular drain ptrap. We pulled the laundry room toilet as the entire sewage system was full of water and ran camera and drain machine as far as I could. Couldn’t get far enough, so. We had to get some garbage/plastic bins, lightly unscrew 2 cleanout caps In different areas, and let the system completely drain down into the bins so we could get closer.

Call for gas leak in crawlspace. Arrived and spoke with Eric. He states that they called Gas light initially after smelling gas outside. Gas light came out and determined that the main pressure regulator on the gas meter needed to be replaced. While on site gas light also found two leaks inside the crawlspace above the hvac unit. Gas has been off since Sunday. I discussed history of the issue with Eric, and we went to the crawlspace together. The two leaks inside locations were above the hvac unit. The first was on a trac pipe fitting, and we were able to observe it with leak detection liquid. After tightening the fitting, the leak is almost imperceptible. The second leak was not able to be found, and the photo from gas light was also not helpful to identify the leak. During the inspection I found several issues and have pointed each out to Eric. 1. Replaced a basket strainer , did two separate p trap for disposal and strainer side

Removed old tankless and furnished and installed new Navian tankless. Also furnishing installed new PRV with flow by Moen. Tested and no leaks were present at this time set water pressure at 65 psi. Help customer set up by mowing and everything is working as it should. Tested hot water and now there is hot water. Cleaned up work area.

Client called us out due to the fixtures in the basement backing up when a lot of water was used. Client has a city sewer cleanout out in the front yard by the road, and all these years have thought they were on city sewer. We pulled up the basement toilet and ran sewer camera. It took me out the back of the home, right under the concrete pad patio, where there are two 6” cleanouts just to the side of, that are full of poo and such. It turns out, client is actually on a septic system instead of sewer. After pulling toilet we saw the flange was not the correct flange for the pipe, so we replaced that flange with proper, then reset the toilet with new bolts and beauty caps, as well as new toilet supply line. After testing, we caulked around the base of the toilet. Client will need to call a septic company to further resolve this issue. Metro septic 678-873-7934

Customer had a few issues to address. Gave options for maintenance/replacements. Pressure was above 80 PSI. Replaced PRV and set pressure to 65PSI. Checked pressure in all areas to ensure pressure was good. Also replaced whole house filter and minor toilet rebuild. Lastly flushed tankless water heater for 45mins to remove buildup within heater. After all work was completed, checked for leaks and proper function.

Call for hose Bibb/spigot. Arrived and met with Patrick and discussed concerns. He showed he a hose spigot on the right side of the home that wouldn’t work correctly, and was completely unsecured, allowing it to be pulled several inches from the side of the home. Inspection findings: Inspected and found the following issues: -Right side hose spigot unsecured, and it had two failed vacuum breakers attached to it. I removed the vacuum breakers and hose did function. -Back of home hose Bibb has no shut off valve. -Left side hose Bibb shut off valve is leaking. -No shut off valve for home main waterline -Pressure regulating valve has been maxed out, and is 8 years old. -Toilet in Jack and Jill bathroom has been running because fill valve overflow tube has popped off, blocking flapper from sealing completely. -Washin machine has rubber hoses Recommendations and work performed: -Secured right side hose spigot, and sealed around the unit. -Installed shut off valve for back hose

Checked problem with smell in basement, we found a leaking toilet after flush m , pull and reset , found flange was 1 1/2 inches below the floor , made repair with new flange , new wax and supply line installed as well

Call for toilet not filling up. Arrived and discussed issues with Mr. Woodward. He states that he noticed the toilet wouldn’t fill up yesterday. Turning the water on and off seemed to get it going quicker for a few seconds. I inspected the toilet and found all components to be very old. The fill valve is not functioning well and seems to be occluded internally. Gaskets all severely deteriorated. Pressure on house approximately 65 psi. Prv appears to have been replaced with two water heaters in 2020. Due to high pressure in neighborhood, significant amounts of construction on on this road, and pressure reading, it may be prudent to upgrade prv to a black tag prv. After checking system, we removed tank and replaced fill valve, flush tower, gaskets and seals. Cleaned under tank and inside tank. Toilet flushing normally and no issues at this time. Clogged washing machine drain in cast iron p trap and horizontal line , replaced with new p trap and horizontal pipe fixed problem today

Customer stated that they wanted gas for fireplace. Looked around and found that putting gas to the fireplace is possible. Fireplace is smaller than normal so recommended customer to first find gas logs that will fit into fireplace.

Call for toilet not filling and handle not functioning. Arrived and found guest bathroom toilet is an older Kohler memoirs toilet. The fill valve is failing, the handle is getting stuck, and the flapper is deteriorated. The hallway bathroom is in similar condition but still functioning. We discussed repairs and replacement options. I assisted Mr. And Mrs. Wallenstein with identifying the current toilet model and make, to help provide accurate replacement options that will match the existing footprint of the toilet. I also provided an estimate for replacing two sections of copper that were pointed out in the basement above the train tables.

Replaced a tub and shower valve with customer supplied

Returned because customer backed up again since previous snake visit. Customer agreed to do sewer replacement so we collected a job deposit for today and snaked drain again today for no charge. As of now, drain is up and flowing again but recommend using minimum water until drain/sewer line is replaced.

Gas smell , checked gas piping , no leaks , smell is coming either from tankless or furnace exhaust termination.

Customer had drain issue located in master bath sink. Ran small machine approximately 20 ft and cleared line. Filled sink and drained to check for proper drainage function. Also found TET to be bad and improperly supported. Replaced tank and secured tank with bracket.

Customer stated that the toilet isn’t flushing. Also, customer mentioned a few weeks ago. Someone came out and cleared the main stoppage. Tested all fixtures in home and only noticed one toilet in master bath, not flushing. Use toilet auger to clear stoppage and now toilet is flushing as it should. Give customer options to run camera from clean out, but at this time customer didn’t want to proceed with a camera inspection. Also stated that pressure is higher than it normally should be and also that main water service is galvanized.
