Supply and Install RHEEM 40 Gallon Gas Tall Water Heater: Remove and disconnect existing water heater. Install new 40-gallon gas tall water heater supplied by Chen Plumbing in the same location. Installation includes setting a new drip pan (if pan fits in accessible space) and installing a new thermal expansion tank to manage system pressure changes. A new full-port ball valve will be installed on the cold water supply line to improve flow and facilitate future maintenance. Replaced toilet with western, elongated 10 “ rough in toilet

In basement laundry room cut out existing cast-iron piping for wash machine drain and replace with pvc and new wash machine box. Cut paneling as needed to access water lines to rework. Also rework T&P line to go outside of home. Chen plumbing won’t be responsible for repairing paneling. If any additional work needed there will be an additional charge. Tested all work and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.

Customer had issues with toilet flushing slowly. Ran auger with extension to ensure line is clear. Flushed toilet several times and show no issues.

kitchen line is compromised underneath the slab, we will re work line above ground and add a 2 inch p trap for the laundry machine, as well as a clean out for the kitchen. While pipe is cut open we will also run Camera to determine the rest of the sewer line condition. Performed work mentioned above, as well as completed camera inspection line under slab is in rough shape informed customer of findings. Work is tested and complete.

Customer stated that there was a leak on drain pipe for wash machine. Found that drain was actually backing up. Recommended to customer to replace section of cast iron with PVC. Customer signed estimate and would like us to do work on Friday because laundry room is getting renovated.

Homeowner and her father state that they purchased a new fridge for the kitchen and when the install crew moved the old fridge the ice maker angle stop was leaking so they called us to fix the issue. Upon arrival the father greeted me on driveway and explained the situation and showed me to the kitchen area. I could see they had a towel down and had shut off the water in crawl space. I did my inspection and found that the expansion tank was blown and the PRV was very old. I offered some solutions to them and they opted to install a new ice maker box PRV and shut off and finally a new expansion tank. I began with removing the old angle stop and cut the back wall to install the ice maker box and drilled a hole down to the crawl space and feed new pex pipe and connected it to the CPVC line. Then I moved to the main shut off and removed it along with the PRV and installed a pex adapter and ran new pex pipe with a new PRV and main shut off. I came today to install a new sewer line. I stubbed out a new section out the back of the home and dug the trench to the city tap. I ran pipe with the proper fall all the way to the tap and connected the existing clean out. I also added two clean outs one and the back of the home were I stubbed put the new section and were I connected to the city tap. After I tested the new sewer line I backfilled the hole. I also cut down the new clean outs to ground level.

Homeowner states that she noticed a leak a few days later after all the work I had previously completed and where the original leak was which was the hot side pipe. Upon inspection I saw that it was coming from above where I didn’t touch the pipe and informed homeowner of the next steps and they agreed to fix the issue. I turned off the water and removed the 90 elbow 3/4 and cut out the coupling I had installed. I then cleaned the pipe and installed a new coupling above and below and then placed a new 90 propress 3/4. Once I connected it all properly I turned on the water and no leaks or issues were found but I did take video of the other fittings near by and they are very old and corroded and may cause problems in the future which I did inform and show homeowners.

Returned and fixed subfloor and installed flange and connected to drain line. Also installed toilet. Tested and no leaks were present at this time. Customer has a pressure assist toilet and stated to customer that back up may occur due to that toilet. Cleaned up work area.

Customer had 4 hansgrohe cartridges to replace for two lav faucets. Replaced all cartridges but found one cartridge to be defective. While replacing cartridges found stop to not function properly and suggested to replace. Adjusted pressure. Also checked shower head. Will neeed to return to replace cartridge and install shower head.

Customer called for possible water heater not producing hot water. Water heater is 80 gallon electric inform customer to perform simple diagnostic test to confirm water heater was working within range. Customer approved. Performed basic troubleshooting of electric water heater checked power supply. Made sure breaker wasn’t tripped as well as check thermostat and heating element themselves,resistance for heating elements fell within range and verified thermostat continuity as well. Water heater is working properly at this time. Recommend replacing pump that has failed.

Homeowner states she bought a new gas stove and had it delivered today but the installers refused to connect the new gas stove due to the old shut off not working properly and she called us to come and fix the issue. Upon arrival I was greeted by homeowner at door and she explained the situation and asked if we could replace the gas shut off. I did my inspection and didn’t find anything else wrong and offered homeowner different solutions and she agreed to have me replace the shut off install the new flex hose and install the gas stove. I began by removing the old gas shut off and installing a 3/4 gas ball valve and then reduced it to 1/2 pipe and installed the flex hose. Once the flex hose was installed I moved the new gas stove in place and connected the gas hose and purged out the air. Once it was properly connected I checked for leaks which non were found and ran the stove until it turned on. Homeowner is satisfied with the service provided.

Call for leak at base of toilet. Arrived and discussed concerns with Ms. Robin. She stated that water has been seeping from under toilet when flushed and has started to get worse lately. We also noted toilet bolts that were loose, which indicated the flange may be damaged. Price is to pull and reset toilet. Reset with new wax ring, toilet supply, and bolts. Once toilet was pulled we discovered that the flange needed to be replaced, and Robin authorized the additional repair. If the stop isn’t holding, additional pricing will be given to replace. Toilet reset, caulking applied. Advised customer to not clean or apply chemicals to caulking for 24 hours. Remove and replace hose spigot on side of house. Install dedicated shut off valve. We also discussed the age of the water heater, and the kitchen faucet. Ms. Robin discussed having the water heater and faucet replaced before Thanksgiving, and we have provided the estimate for this repair.

Returned to removed old GWH and install new fixtures per homeowner’s request to do the work Thursday. Upon arrival I cut off the water at meter and drained the old GWH and started to put together the new GWH. Once it was prepared I started taking the new fixtures down to the basement and removed the old GWH and PRV. I then started with the PRV and main water shut off and removed the old gate valve and PRV and pressed it on the pipe. Once the old GWH was emptied I removed it and placed a new drip pan and then the GWH and attached the vent pipe with screws and tape. I connected the cold and hot water lines with copper pipe installed a mounting bracket and the new expansion tank. I then properly connected the pipes and proceeded to the last part which was to run approximately 10 ft of new trac pipe due to the old line being copper and not up to code. I installed it and new gas shut off and checked for leaks which non were found. I then turned on the water and everything works properly no

Customer stated that there was water leaking into basement bathroom. Cut into sheet rock and found old cast-iron piping leaking. Gave customer quote to replace section of cast-iron and customer approved. Will return tomorrow to do work. October 21 2025 Returned and cut out section of cast iron and replaced with PVC. While cutting stack under lavatory faucet on main floor cut into wire. Had an electrician come out and make repair. Also a 2in stack that is going up next to the stack we replaced, is fully clogged and not functional. Don’t know what that line is servicing so may become an issue and recommend for a section of the stack to get replaced which was not quoted with job done today. Can send estimate to have that stack replaced. Attempted to install new toilet flange, but found that toilet had a small leak and caused hole for flange to get to big and that there is no subfloor for us to secure flange to. Recommended to have reliable restoration come out and take a look. So at this

Homeowner states that they need a solution for their GWH that just started leaking very slowly. Upon arrival homeowner greeted on driveway and explained that he noticed water running out underneath the GWH and called us to check and provide solutions. It is leaking and it’s from 2008 so I provided them a few solutions of replacement which homeowners agreed too and i will be back Thursday morning to replace the unit.

Returned and installed a new Delta monitor 17 series cartridge. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Took a time stamp of meter and found the same rate of loss. Adjusted a toilet that the fill line was close and found a hose bib left turned on leaking from the vaccum breaker. Turned the house off after repair, toilet adjustment, and turning the hose bib off. No more water is moving from the meter.

Homeowner states that the two PVC connections were leaking continuously and wanted us to come out and fix the leak. Upon arrival I was greeted by homeowner and he showed me to the backyard hose bib where it was connected to a multi port and then to PVC pipe and it was leaking at the connections. I suggested replacing the PVC with pex pipe which homeowner agreed to and I began by removing the PVC pipe as far down as possible. Then I used PVC adapters to pex and used pex pipe to connect the hose bin to the new lines. I also had to replace the hose bib shut off and once it was all connected and enough time passed for the PVC glue to cure I turned it on and it works properly no leaks or issues and homeowner is satisfied with the service provided.
