Leaking hose bib in the backyard. Customer stated she tried to shut the valve off but it continued to leak. Gave customer estimate to replace ball valve and hose bib customer approved estimate. As getting parts out of truck customer wanted to to replace front hose bib. We replaced both hose bibs and gate valves. Installed 2 new hose bibs and 2 new ball valves. Tested systems, systems are working with no leaks or issues upon departure

Customer had house built in 2015 and has 4 Kohler toilets with aqua pistons. The two upstairs toilets are already running and the downstairs toilet and basement toilet aren’t leaking at the moment. Checked house pressure at 60 psi, which is a safe range. Rebuilt the internals for the two upstairs toilets. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.

Customer had disposal that was jammed. Disposal appeared to be rested on the inside and well aged. Recommended replacement. Main issue with refrigerator unit was apt he freezer is frozen over. Water was local to front of refrigerator, wasn’t pooled, and didn’t appear to be coming from supply line. Recommended an appliance tech to inspect the refrigerator unit. Installed new disposal. Tested to ensure proper function and no leaks.

Price is to dig up in yard between retaining wall and the creek and replace the section of cast pipe with pvc pipe. Install two cleanouts at each connection point and jet the line going towards the woods + camera inspect. Additional pricing will be given if any additional issues are found further upstream once camera can be run. Will have to remove fence to get tractor in back yard. Chen Plumbing will attempt to put fence back, but final repairs are customer responsibility. 12/4/24 Returned and removed fence to get excavator in the back yard and dig trench to remove existing cast and replace with occ pipe. Installed a two way cleanout closet to the house, and put a one way cleanout by the creek. Backfilled the hole and scraped the tracks in the back yard to try to minimize the track marks. Packed around the new cleanouts and used the tractor to pack the clay back for the new sewer line. Camera inspected from the Cleanout by the creek. Found about 20 more feet of cast and then the lin

Price is to furnish material to replace trap, waste and overflow, and piping leading to pvc. Will have to cut copper pipe leading to lavatory faucet and venting. Connections to copper drains aren’t warranted and cutting copper piping can lead to damage on the copper. If this occurs, additional pricing will be given to repair/replace. 11/25/24 Returned and cut out copper trap and drain line all the way to copper wye fitting by 2 inch pvc. Replaced waste and overflow and then ran pvc pipe from new pvc trap all the way to new pvc wye. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.

Returned to install new water service. Installed new 1 inch water service from meter to home. Installed ball valve right after meter and put meter box in. Also left 2 4inch sticks of pvc in ground for inspection. Tested system, system is working with no leaks or issues. Had customer go through home and made sure all air was out of system. Meter is reading 0.00. Will return to remove 4” pvc once inspection is done.

This is Jeff Bashuk at 2497 Tanglewood Road Decatur. Im happy with Matt, but the water pressure downstairs is too low and the kitchen sink is leaking. He put in a new disposal. My fault, I didnt check everything before he left.

Tim Chen Plumbing has serviced our family's plumbing needs for many years. He has taken care of my home, my sister's home and my mother's home. He most recently installed a new hot water heater in my 91 yr. old mother's home. Tim's technicians have always been professional, respectful and empathic to our family's situation. Tim personally came to my mother's house early on a Saturday morning to oversee the installation of the water heater so that my 91nyr. old mom would have hot water that day. I had used Chen Plumbibg forcacoreviius job. My tenant was pleased, the problem was fixed so I called Chen when tge sane problem showed up at another property. Juan had an opening in his schedule so called and came one day early. His quote was what I expected to pay to replace the shower stems, fixed the problem promptly and the tenant had a working bathroom again. I decided to replace the toilet instead of trying to repair it. Juan came out the next day and replaced it. Juan made it clear there might be additional problems. These are older houses. Again tge work went smoothly. There were no surprises. With Juan’s expert advice, I know I made a good call replacing the toilet. My tenant is happy to have her bathroom back in working order, better than before, and I’m happy to have the work done.
