Performed sewer inspection from the open flange inside the master bedroom, located belly in the 45 degree turn under the living room slab. Left quote to repair line. Took video of inspection. Marked spot on floor with tape for homeowner to see.

Completed a sump pump repair today at a residence in Decatur. Upon initial inspection, I determined that the Wayne CDU980E 3/4 HP pump was not activating despite the pit containing sufficient water. Diagnostic testing revealed a failed float switch mechanism. Replaced the entire float assembly with a compatible OEM component. While servicing the unit, I also discovered that the check valve had begun to deteriorate, which could have led to backflow issues. Replaced this component as well to ensure optimal system performance. Cleaned significant debris from the pit that was potentially interfering with proper operation. Performed multiple test cycles to confirm appropriate activation at the correct water levels. Also inspected backup battery system which was functioning properly but approaching end of recommended service life. Provided customer with detailed maintenance schedule and warning signs to monitor for future issues.

Customer had a kitchen faucet and two lavatory faucets that he wanted installed. Replaced two widespread lavatory faucets in upstairs bath and the kitchen faucet in the kitchen. Noted kitchen sink was falling through. Pulled the sink down an inch or two off of existing brackets, and scraped old silicone and dried. Put a new layer of silicone and remounted the sink with the existing brackets. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Made customer aware that sink needs 24 hours of absolutely no water use to dry properly. Was limited to minimal testing for the kitchen faucet due to the drying silicone. We offer a 90 workmanship warranty on sealing the sink if any issues presents itself with normal use. If any of the existing brackets have any issues in the future, a countertop company will have to reinstall the sink.

We came out to inspect clogged washing machine drain and upon arrival we noticed machine itself did not pump out water . Returned and replaced section of cast iron pipe that had long crack down the bottom of the pipe. Crack occurred due to the age of the cast iron pipe. Bottom side of pipe where most water flow occurs has rusted through. Crack was seal3 with rust/waste and preventing it from leaking. We ran camera down line to locate blockage point for ESOG. Located where they drove concrete pier into the sewer line. We had to snake sewer line to remove soft tissue blockage at the point where the pipe was broken by Esog to get the water to drain out of the pipe. We likely disturbed the layer of rust that was sealing the crack in the pipe. Sewer machines are designed to be ran down sewer pipes, and damage to sewer pipes does not occur unless the material has degraded past a point where the wall structures are severely weakened. We could not have known about the crack prior to our diagnostic process having occurred. We fully removed damaged/leak cast iron and replaced with pvc, testing to ensure a leak fre

2/26/25 Customer had water backing up into washing machine box. Ran the mini flex shifter through the standpipe, trap, and vertical arm. When testing the drain found that it was draining properly. Then saw water pooling from under the washing machine into the laundry room. Immediately cleaned the area and inspected the drain line from the crawlspace. Found that the pipe was undersized, improperly trapped, and sealed into the cast transition with putty. Only solution is to replace the box and the drain pipe to size it properly, correct the trap, and have a working laundry box. Offered to get customer into contact with David White with Reliable Restoration. Customer declined. Will return in the morning to perform quoted work first thing tomorrow. 2/27/25 Returned and installed 2 inch pvc line to cast tee and installed new washing machine box and washing supply lines. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Installed a 21 inch standpipe and put cardboard over cut in wall
