Customer had issues with irrigation all valves open, and running, unable to shut off. after thorough evaluation, found pressure in area to be high, resulting in high pressure to irrigation system and water system of home. Found pressure to be 140 psi. Gave options for replacement of PRV inside home. And to install PRV on irrigation line in yard. Also addressed a few minor issues with quotes. Explain to customer about two step regulator needed for home due to pressure being above 130 psi. Removed old regulator and installed two new regulators. One black tag high-pressure and one regular pressure PRV. Also added a new ball valve to home. After work was complete checked for leaks and proper function. Pressure is now set at 60 psi. Customer will call back after speaking with irrigation company about installing PRV in yard for irrigation.

Customer called because it would like to run a camera to verify the condition of their sewer line gave customer option. Customer approved, I ran camera from main stack. However we could not get very far because sewer line takes multiple. Turns camera is just not flexible enough to make turns Inform customer and gave option to install clean out. also gave estimate to replace waterline which is currently gray poly.

3 handle shower valve not working properly upon arrival, customer stated the cold water won’t shutoff on his 3 handle shower valve. Informed customer we could try and rebuild it with a new stem but there would be no warranty. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Pulled old stem out and installed new one. Turn water back on to check for leaks and make sure the stem was working properly. Handles are now working properly and no leaks upon departure

Replacement of garbage disposal 1/2 This customer we installed the new half horsepower garbage disposal in the kitchen due to the fact that the old one had a leak from 2015. That one was installed. Water heater is fairly new. The customer also has another problem with the toilet drain line. It is a lateral line of cast-iron can connect into PVC with a new flange. What I have to do is remove the toilet and replace the flange due to it being wobbly more than likely, the seal is not broken from the waxing however, the toilet does shift so is it indicating a broken flange so therefore, that is what I recommend on replacing the section of cast-iron going back with PVC properly to install a Shore true fit once that is installed there will be no leaks. The customer will be all set.

This customer, we did our annual inspection with the wind with Chen membership. Took a look at everything. The customer has abs drainage system. They have a mix between copper and PEX piping inside the home they’ve had done some renovations in the home and that’s when they switched over to that type of piping. Additionally, there’s no major plumbing issues in the home other than the fact that the faucet upstairs in the master bathroom continues to drip I’d recommended to replace the cartridges for that. This water pressure in the home is at 60 psi checked off of the cold water line of the water heater at this time. There are no issues other than the faucet that I could visibly see.

Customer had a hose bib on a galvanized pipe coming up from the ground that had a slow leak on it. We replaced with a new hose bib and attached it with a ford fitting. Customer has a water heater from 2004 that we left a quote to replace. We also left a quote for a drain issue she is experiencing with the laundry and kitchen sink.

Customer had small seepage coming from PVC fitting in basement. After thorough evaluation, found drain stoppage on same line to be assisting issue. gave customer options for repair/replacement. Ran small cable through drain under sink in order to clear drain line of blockage. Gave customer minor repair option or Section replacement of PVC. Due to leak being very small customer wanted to attempt minor repair in order to fix issue. Explain to customer about warranty conditions and if issue returned, will need to return to replace section of PVC. Cut away, wood stressing PVC and applied glue around fitting. Explain to customer about drying time. After work was complete check for leaks and proper function. Pressure is also 85 PSI. Gave options for replacement.

Came out for a bathroom shower valve. Customer had purchased a new three handle valve and wanted it installed. Toilet in the hall bathroom was clogged, we augured the toilet at no charge and restored flow. Master bathroom lavatory drain was very slow to drain. We took apart the p trap and cleaned out a bunch of hair and put it back together. This restored flow to the drain. Water heater in the basement was from 2003. Customer elected to have us replace the tank. Installed new Rheem water heater. Tested to ensure proper function and a leak free installation.

For this customer, we did our win with Chen annual home protection plan visit took a look at the sewer line no issues with that. Clean out in the front yard. They had the sewer line replaced last summer. Additionally, with that as well they also replaced the waterline to furthermore the water heater was replaced in 2023 by Schumate. We went ahead with the water heater flush today one of the more notable things from our visit today is that hose bib on the backyard? Was not secure to call come in and out of the wall when being used so I recommended we replaced that hose bib in secure to the wall. That’s exactly what we ended up doing Installed a male adapter in the wall on the copper pipe tied on a new hose bib and secured it with two screws. Additionally, we installed a new quarter turn ball valve in the ceiling. CUSTOMER has a pegboard with his tools on it and we didn’t want to disturb the pegboard so I relocated the shut off valve a little bit higher kept the old shut off valve in the

Replace both waste flange and overflow. Install new gaskets as well. Previously caulked around shower trim and told customer to test to see if it’s still leaks. Customer stated that shower started leaking yesterday. Found that water was coming from overflow. Stated to customer that best option will be able to replace waste and overflow gaskets and trim pieces and customer agreed. Went ahead and install installed new parts. Tested and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.

Replaced about 25 to 30 feet 3” cast iron pipe to pvc in crawl space , correct section bad pitched pipe , replaced a old 50 gal gas water heater with new heater , pan , expansion tank installed

Today we replaced about 18 inches 4” single wall vent pipe on top of the water heater that had a hole in it , old pipe hole was plugged by a bolts and red fire caulk , customer want us remove that section pipe and install new pipe which is what we did today , after install customer light the water heater and set temperature at customer desired temperature.

For this customer we are quoting a partial cast on re-pipe for two toilets, laboratory and re-piping couple galvanized waterlines sent all the information over to the contractor that is contracting the job for him to take a look at it. Since no one was here, I had locked up the house didn’t lock the door, but I did close everything up recommended to re-pipe the waterlines and CVC to keep it all in one pipe at this time it is an estimate to get the cast-iron toilet flange for both toilet toilets, redo the shower stall line redo a couple of wise and all in PVC and then cut it out a certain point of the stack and do it in hard pipe PVC. The cast-iron goes into the cement underneath the floor somewhere where we don’t have access to that part contractor will let us know when they’ll work will be done.

Diagnosed washing machine not draining properly and bubbles coming out of drain. Snaked drain to clear any obstruction and also adjusted discharge line to have air vent. Tested washing machine thoroughly and found no issues and no bubbling. Left estimate for new water heater options and also signed up with win with Chen membership.

Customer initially called for pooling water in front of an inside of crawlspace. After a thorough evaluation, we found a hole in the cast-iron white fitting servicing, the first floor and second floor vanity sink drain lines. Customer approved, initial repair, including required sheet rock removal, sheet rock repair was excluded While on site, customer also approved installation of a new PRV and enrollment and membership program. During testing, an additional leak will discovered on a prior repair completed by another company. We provided options, and the customer approve replacement of that repair along with rerouting the laundry drain line away from the AC system. Return the following day to complete all approved work. All repairs are thoroughly tested, everything is working as intended at this time

Customer called us for water pulling in crawlspace. After our initial evaluation. We found a rotted out section of cast-iron gave customer options for repair. Customer wanted repair and PRV done at the same time. Will return tomorrow to complete scheduled work.

Replaced a old solder joint with new propress fitting

Clogged kitchen sink drain , pipe was not installed correctly and undersized as well , replaced pipe from kitchen to crawl space with 2” pvc thru floor, new p trap and AAV , also replaced a water filter cartridge as courtesy no charge This job is 2 years warranty

Leak through plastic tapped on tile wall, tile is not fixed yet

Customer stated that both shower were leaking down to floor below. Stated to customer that we will need to cut Sheetrock to access plumbing to see what is leaking and customer agreed. Went ahead and cut Sheetrock in 3 three places. For one tub found tub had big crack in middle which caused water to leak to floor below. For other shower found that leak was coming from trim pieces from shower so went ahead and Recaulked. Stated to customer not to use shower with crack in it and to also wait about 12 hours before using other shower to give caulk time to dry. Also contacted provision and they will be coming out later today to look at water damage. Cleaned up work area. Chen plumbing isn’t responsible for sheet rock repair. Also water heater is from 2016 and recommend to customer to have it replaced due to age and it’s coming up to the end of its life expectancy. Also water pressure is right under 80 psi and Prv valve will need to be found and replaced.
