Performed win with Chen annual plumbing inspection. All plumbing is in good shape. Left estimate for new vanity install and tub spout replacement as well as heater replacement options for the future
Upon arrival, customer states they are experiencing leak coming from cast-iron drain. After inspection, noticed leak coming from hub near kitchen sink. Provided customer estimates to perform a repair on cast-iron. Customer approved estimate. Replaced leaking section with 3 inch PVC and 3 x 2 wye. Test system, no leaks at departure.
Replaced a 2” cast iron p trap , waste and overflow assembly with chrome lift and turn type , supply and install Grundfos hot water recirculating pump with cross over valve under the kitchen sink . Caulk three handle tub and shower faucet set .
Tim explained best way to repair kitchen drain leakage problem. Installed a new drain through the floor and not the wall. Solved the problem. Nice attentive office staff. Kept me fully updated on the timing of my appointment. Highly recommend Chen Plumbing.
