Remove existing toilet and haul away. Install customer supplied toilet and repair toilet flange. Customer needed toilet replaced. Gave customer quote to install customer provided toilet and customer agreed. Removed old toilet and hauled the way. Inspected flange and found that flange was broken and recommended to customer to have it repaired. Went ahead and made repair on flange. Set new toilet down and tested. No leaks present at this time. Chase and Christian did a great job and very quickly. Much appreciated.
Old laundry machine valves leaking upon arrival. Customer states the valves constantly drip and they no longer use them. Gave customer the option to replace it with new valves or capping the old water lines. Gave customer both estimates, customer chose to just cap the water lines. Capped off old water lines and left in the wall. Turned water back on to check for leaks, found no leaks. No leaks upon departure
This job replaced the pressure reducing valve with a Zearn NR 3XLPRVW union it is the only PRV that would fit in its space couldn’t use any other without re-typing it. The customer does not have a meter. The water is shut down by the HOA. He does have a shut off valve, but everything is too close to each other to essentially re-pipe it properly so therefore went ahead and installed the double union PRV there’s no leaks set to 65 pounds For replace the shower drain in the master bathroom on the stall install a new P-trap. However it started leaking so I went back with a new solvent, weld PVC 2 inch P-trap and fix the leak by cutting it out and redoing it essentially once that was installed, there’s no leaks. The customer requested to leave the shower great off Because he will be putting on a different one than the one that oatey supplies. At this time, there’s no leaks customers back by one year warranty parts and labor no further issues at this time.

Thank you for sharing this, John. We are glad you continue to call on us and that our work has earned your trust over time. We are always here whenever you need help.
We were called out today due to clients 7 yr old nat gas water heater leaking out in the basement. So, we replaced the failed water heater with new Rheem pro series 50 gal SHORT nat gas water heater. Old unit was a tall model, and the venting was not acceptable with how tight it was, so a short model was the only option. New unit was installed in a pan with a cap in it per code, and a new ball valve shutoff, new coated gas flex and gas shutoff, new properly supported thermal expansion tank per code, and all new vent pipe to the tie in point. Water was done in copper pipe and propress fittings. Got air out and turned unit on. No issues. 6 yr manufacturer warranty on tank 2 yr labor warranty
For this CUSTOMER, baby shower drain that is leaking into the trap. However, there is some water damage that I would recommend getting taken a look at before we begin work for cutting out the drywall and trying to locate the leak appliable water restoration will be coming out to take a look before we begin work. The pressure reducing valve also needs to be replaced is a doubleunion Cumbraco, I may need to re-pipe and replace the pressure reducing valve with a 25 AV at this time. The customer wants to see what the mitigation company says before proceeding with the replacement of the drain.
Customer stated that they needed help replacing tub spout. Tub spout customer has ordered is slightly different than the original one and requires a more invasive approach to replace it. Customer didn’t want us to take the invasive route to install tub spout that she currently has. So Customer ordered another tub spout and will give us a call once it comes in.

Quoted tankless water heater replacement today
I love Chen plumbing. They are always friendly and do an amazing job. Thank you!!
Customer stated the hose bib leaks even when shut off and the shower upstairs drains slow. After taking a look at the hose bib and shower also found tankless had not been serviced and was going on two years old. Gave customer estimate to replace the spigot, cable the shower drain, and flush the tankless. Customer approved estimate. Replaced the spigot, ran cable through the shower drain upstairs and pulled back hair. Also flushed the tankless for an hour. Spigot is now working, shower upstairs is draining properly and the tankless has been serviced this year. Everything is working properly and no leaks upon departure.
For this customer, the complaint was that they had three slow draining sinks upon arrival looked at all three sinks that the customer was complaining about, and there wasn’t any slow drains filled up multiple gallons of water for the sinks to make sure that they are correctly flowing and they are there are no issues with the sinks or commodes, the other issue was the tub drain in the hallway was draining slowly so what I recommended is to remove the linkage from the overflow to have the tub drain actually flowing properly. The house consist of brass copper and cast-iron so it’s expected to drain a little bit slowly before replacing the pipes, CUSTOMER also had a kitchen sink faucet that she wanted the cartridge placed on upon further evaluation. The screw for the cartridge has been worked on before because it is stripped out completely. Whoever put it back in stripped it out when they replaced the cartridge blast recommended to either drill it out and potentially find the screw and or
I have always been pleased with Chen Plumbing- and today was another great experience. Professional, courteous, and informative every step of the way.

Customer called us back out for a tankless flush and to look at the kitchen sink that had intermittently been backing up. Informed customer that their last flush wasn’t quite a year ago, but due to the amount of reschedule credits acquired it’s worth it to go ahead and do. Recommended using the holidays as a time marker for future maintenance so that it’s done closer to a year in the future. Filled and drained sink twice as well as ran water for 5-10 minutes. The sink didn’t back up. Informed customer that running a snake is mainly useful for sinks with an active stoppage because it will poke a hole in the blockage. Sink water is flowing well and there are currently no backups recommended a bio cleaning agent for the health of the sink drain. Found vegetable peels built up inside disposal. Cleared veggie peels with a cup of ice. Flushed the tankless unit, cleared the inlet screen and tested for proper function. Everything is working as intended. No leaks found at this time. Let custome
Came out for a back up. Customers basement bathroom was not draining. Septic tank was replaced a few months ago. Opened cleanout and found it was holding water. Ran camera down and located blockage prior to the septic tank. Had to use sewer machine to snake the blockage and clear it. Cleared blockage and inspected location. Did not see any problems in the pvc section. We turned the camera back towards the house and inspected the cast iron under the slab. Multiple partial blockages. Cast iron is very rotted and snagging paper. Sections of the pipe have rotted out and are holding water. Back up will occur again if pipes are not replaced/relined. Gave them referral to zurn to reline the mainlines if desired. Gave quote to jackhammer slab and replace the pipes.
Customer had Reliable out for water damage in the ceiling. Once drywall was removed customer was made aware of a hole on the lead pipe going to toilet. Customer also had questions about slow draining tub. Left quote for flange replacement, and told customer tub looked incorrectly piped, but couldn’t get a full view. Can accurately quote necessary repairs to the tub once the tile is removed and the subfloor is removed in the bathroom.
Replaced two toilets , supply and installed one round , one elongated Kohler Ada highline Arc toilet, replaced a shower with customer supplied at no charge
Customer had a leaking chrome trap under sink on main floor. Made customer aware that replacing the whole waste arm into the wall and reconnecting to the stack is recommended. This is due to the likelihood that copper will leak when cut into repair the drain line. Customer acknowledged the risk and requested repair over whole line replacement. Manually cut the copper water arm under the sink and installed a new pop up and a new trap. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.
City was already out checking their line. Confirmed through meter read that it isn’t the customers leak.no dispatch fee for members.
This is an email to resend quote to pull and reset toilet with failed flange in upstairs bathroom. Will inspect the flange and give options to repair or replace the flange once we can see the exact nature of the failure and what needs to be done.
Very professional informative time efficient
Came out for no hot water. Water heater had a puddle of water under it. Was 16 years old. Water pressure tested at 130 psi. Notified homeowner and received approval to replace the prv’s and water heater. Installed a high pressure and standard pressure PRV. Set to 70 psi. Replaced water heater and tested to ensure proper function and a leak free install. Homeowner has a tenant renting their basement. He had a puddle of water in the floor that was coming up through the floor boards. We inspected the entire area as all of the plumbing lines are visible. Ran every fixture we could. No sign of where the leak was coming from. Referred restoration services for the water damage.
