Checked and quoted different options for water heater replacement

75 gal gas water heater and another gas leak upon arrival. Customer stated the water heater was no longer fired up and when he went to relight the pilot light he noticed a gas smell as well as water around the bottom. Informed customer there was no repair options for the water heater but we could replace the water heater and re work all the gas in the area to stop the leak. Also noticed Recirc pump was leaking, informed customer we could replace it or just cap the line off. Customer wanted to replace the pump as well. Gave customer estimate to fix all the issues. Customer approved estimate. Re worked all the gas in the area and made sure there was no longer a leak, installed new 75 gal gas Rheem water heater with a new Recirc pump. Turned water and gas back on. Found no leaks on water or gas. Ran water in master bath where the dedicated line was ran to allow the pump to have water. Turned pump on and it is working properly. Water heater is working properly and there is no longer a gas

Customer stated that they needed estimates to get pipes cleaned. In crawlspace found that drain line goes from 4 inch to 3 inch and then back to 4 inch which is not up to code and mention that to customer. Will send customer estimates on repairs needed.

Call for back up in left side sink in the break room. Met with Chad on site and he showed me the break room. He stated that the left side sink was backing up after we were out recently to do some other work in this break room. Tested sink and found that the backup has resolved itself. I ran water for approximately five minutes. The right side sink has an open dishwasher branch on the p trap, and the left side drain passes by this. If any blockage remained it would have occurred during the testing period. I readjusted the p trap to stop a drip and remove tension from the drain. I also noticed that the hot water was not being delivered during the testing, and advised that it may be a good idea to have a plumbing inspection performed. If the water heater is not producing hot water there may be a risk of it failing or causing water damage if left unaddressed.

Cored inch and a half hole per customer request into quartz countertop, also add dishwasher tea to tubular drain however, when we disassemble tubular drain water was returning back after a quick test we noticed drain line was clogged further down line gave customer option to snake line, customer approved, snake line and clear drain however, we did pull back coffee, straws, and coffee grounds. Inform customer not to let employees flush coffee grounds down drain, customer understand, all work is completed and tested.

Replaced a old 40 gallon gas water heater with Rheem heater , pan , expansion tank with bracket , new prv installed, replaced two American standard lav sink cartridges, rebuild a Toto toilet with new Toto fill valve , flapper , tank handle and new supply line .

Performed thorough plumbing inspection with win with Chen membership. Upon inspection found 3 lavatory drains with improper drain fittings. Also hose spigot on right side of home is not functional due to handle and stem broken. Found pressure regulator to be working and at 60psi but is 10 years old and is showing wear. Left estimates for all work needed to be performed.

In upstairs bathroom shut off water to toilet and pull old toilet. Provide and install new toilet with Ada height 2” taller. Install new toilet with new toilet bolts, new wax seal, and new toilet supply line. Test for proper operation.

Customer stated that toilet was continuously running and also that lavatory faucet wasn’t working properly. Also mention that tub stopper drain wasn’t working. Tested pressure to home and found that pressure was above 80 psi. At this time, customer didn’t want to proceed with any work and will send estimates for repairs needed. Pressure issue will need to be addressed to have warranty on work.

Customer wanted to have quote for removal of plumbing work under kitchen sink in order to remove cabinets gave customer options of removal prices. Customer has another quote to look at before decision.

Left estimate to install icemaker, drain line and tie into tubular trap drain

Call for no water in home. Inspected property and found shut off valve under hallway bathroom in off position. This valve and pressure regulating valve are fairly new and functioning correctly. However, as the home has been empty for many years, we checked all fixtures as we brought water back on. We found the following issues: Washing machine valves broken and unable to close. Toilets all dry rotted and empty, two of which were unsecured to floor. We proceeded with initial repairs, replacing toilets and washing machine box. After repairs and bringing water on all the way, we found a few more issues remaining. Three faucets were leaking and running. Ms. Aurelia elected to replace all three. We replaced the kitchen faucet. Also replacing the shut off valves and basket strainer, as well as p trap and drain assembly. Bathroom faucet, shut off valves, nd pop up assembly in the hallway bathroom and back hallway bathroom. At the end of the work today there are no other concerns with

Customer stated that gas company was out and found gas leak on line going to pool heater. Read note that gas company left and gas company stated that leak was somewhere underground. Stated to customer that best option will be is to replace gas pipe given the corrosion on fittings that are visible and that gas pipe is not repairable. Will send an estimate to do so. If customer agrees to proceed with work, we credit back $49.

Arrived today for disposal not working issue , found a no power with tripped breaker , did not charge customer, explained membership program with Mrs, customer will have Amanda manager call later with credit card information for membership

Customer had brown water coming from infrequently used fixtures in the primary bath. Customer also had low flow in both primary bath lavatory faucets on the cold side only. Checked house pressure at 128 and 75 on each side hose bib. This is an indication of thermal expansion in the system with a high pressure drop. Recommended work is to replace the 13 yesr old water heater, correct the pressure drop with a new prv, and replace stops under the lavatory sinks on the cold side. Customer declined work at this time. Waived dispatch fee because of water heater quote.

Customer had toilets to quote replacement for as well as an inspection report that indicated high pressure. Checked house pressure at 88 psi. Noted customer didn’t have a thermal expansion device in the garage area near the heater. Customer also expressed concern for Cpvc piping in home. I recommended Flo by Moen to mitigate potential leaks in the future and replaced the gas supply line to the water heater as a courtesy. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.

Customer called us out for an odd taste in the water. Inspected whole house filter to see what contaminants it was designed for. Noted that it was for chlorine and odor with no sediment pre-filter. I tasted the water and wasn’t able to quantify the taste. Informed customer that the best approach from here is to either have the water tested by a lab or install a reverse osmosis system. Most whole house filters aren’t designed for specific taste for drinking reverse osmosis is the best approach for good tasting drinking water. Customer declined any further diagnostics or solutions.

Pull and reset toilet , snake and camera main line , found big belly , we quoted job and will do the repair next week

Client called us out due to a low pressure issue at the home after the city made a repair at his meter on the main. Client has galvanized main water line still. The issue is either with the pressure regulator or the main water line. Gave estimate. Collected SF.

Ordered and Supplied two replacement filters for the whole house inline filter. Replaced filter with one of the filters we purchased. Left other filter for next years replacement. Flushed air out of the line and ensured normal flow from the fixture after filter had been replaced. No further issue.

Customer had to water to the home. This was due to stuck Cpvc shutoffs. Replaced prv and whole house shutoff. Recommended heater replacement since the intent is to sell the home. Heater was from 2004 and would be flagged during the inspection. Replaced heater with a new shutoff, thermal expansion tank, and drip pan. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.

For this customer, they need a new faucet, the faucet is from ikea and I can’t source parts for it, so therefore I recommend to replaced the faucet. Customer doesn’t have an individual shut off valve, so I wasn’t able to check pressure and the water heater was in a closet with items in the way. I recommend to replace the faucet with a Moen or delta single hole, single handle faucet.
