Customer concerned about high water usage. Meter does not show movement of water after five minutes. More thorough leak search can be performed upon request. Customer stated that they will monitor meter over a longer period of time.

Capped shower lines , tested and confirmed no leaks. Left estimate as well.

Customer wanted to camera vent line, found Easiest access in attic area, After we used camera in line we found where clog was, and ran snake to unclog. Tested everything multiple times to ensure proper function. (No warranty on drain cleaning or any liability that may be associated with work performed)

Furnished and installed sewer, ejection pump, added shut off and check valve, Tested multiple times to confirm proper function. Everything is working fine at this time.(Chen Plumbing is not responsible If pump gets clogged with baby wipes customer is responsible to pay if that occurs)

Shower repair

Customer stated that two toilets were rocking and wanted kitchen faucet replaced. Looked around home and found water pressure at 120psi and also another toilet rocking and S trap under kitchen sink. Shut water off to home. Furnished and installed new PRV. Upstairs in master bedroom, bathroom, pulled annd reset toiket and also replaced fill valve. Also upstairs in bedroom bathroom pulled, and reset toilet and found flange was broken. Replace flange and reset toilet. Downstairs powder room pulled and reset toilet. Installed customer supplied kitchen faucet and reworked drain for kitchen sink. Turned water back on and tested. There was no leaks found at this time and set water pressure to 65 psi. Caulked around bases of toilets and cleaned up work areas.

Repaired section of 2 inch abs in ceiling.

Customer stated that there was a leak in the ceiling. In bathroom by kitchen there was a wet spot on ceiling by fan. Cut Sheetrock and moved ceiling fan to side. Found 1/2in cpvc hot water line leaking in between beams. Shut water off to home. Cut out section of cpvc pipe and replaced with new section of cpvc pipe. Waited for glue to dry then turned water back on and tested. Bled out air out of the water lines. Tested repair and no leaks were present at this time. Also didn’t notice any other issues at this time. Cleaned up work area. Chen plumbing isn’t responsible for Sheetrock repair or the ceiling fan. Also will send estimate for water heater replacement due to age of over 12 years old.

Ezra is having wet spot show up just outside of kitchen cabinetry on ceiling. Carefully maneuvered through attic to view pipe from above. Unable to see any damage to piping. Cut ceiling from underneath around wet area to find leaking drain pipe. Connected customer with reliable restoration due to the amount of water damaging wood and ceiling. Gave estimate for repair.

Gas line and spigot

For this job, I worked on installing new 75 gallon gas Rheem water heater. Also Installed new pressure regulator valve.

Customer had issue with solder joint just before trap primer. Unthreaded trap primer and removed. No flux was used before and piping was dented. Put in new female fitting on trap primer and soldered in to existing street 90 coming out of gate valve. Turned water back on and tested for leaks.

Walk-through issues with customer in home. Observed pipe rattling due to high-pressure on system and toilet fill valve in laboratory bathroom on main floor filling at decreased rate. Went to attic and carefully tested thermal expansion tank and showed customer shut off valves and electrical shut off. Tested pressure on back hose Spicket, while customers father tried to manipulate pressure lower. Pressure valve has completely failed. Advised customer about main shut off for home being unreliable and front hose Spicket shut off valve compromised. Spoke with HOA on the phone about building shut down and located water valve at the end of townhome building. Formulated email with customer to send to HOA for approval and schematics of water shut downs throughout community. Customer will contact us back after gaining shut down approval from HOA. Estimate given for necessary work.

For this job, I worked on re liting water heater and also fireplace. Kept fire place off due to old compartment.

Cleared main line blockage with basement toilet pull and reset , camera inspection included found a bad back water valve was half way stuck open under the basement slab , need remove to fix the problem permanently. Quote will be given to customer, no warranty

Customer had toilet that needed replacement in upstairs bathroom as well as a dripping shower head. Replaced the toilet with customer supplied toilet and replaced delta cartridge in same bathroom. Customer also started that other upstairs toilet has a dripping fill valve and the there is a slow tub drain. Pulled topical hair out of tub drain and replaced the dripping fill valve as a courtesy to customer in conjunction with the other work stated. The courtesy work is done at no charge and doesn’t carry any warranty. There is no warranty inc customer supplied toilets. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Customer had the same toilet that was running and stated that it wobbled. Found that it wobbled due to a bolt being too short and the previous installer turning a nut upside down to hold toilet in place. Offered to pull and reset toilet for a discounted rate of $275. Customer declined the additional work. Noted to customer that there is a leak in recen

Customers sewage ejection pump was functioning just fine. 2 inch PVC check valve had begun leaking. Cut out and replaced 2 inch check valve and tested multiple time for leaks. Caulked around basin lid due to smell and sounds.

Return to replace water service for meter to the back of the building stubbed into utility room in the back of gas station. Did a bore from meter to back of building. Pressurized system, checked meter to make sure no leaks. System is working with no leaks or issues.

Returned and installed customers pop up assembly in pedestal sink. Reworked the piping below to correct the backwards Ptrap and drain line not being secured with a compression fitting going into the wall. Customer requested that we install vanity where pictured in notes. Made customer aware that the bottom left drawer wouldn’t be able to open and that it isn’t centered with current mirrors and lights. Gave customer option to rework drain lines in wall. Customer is ok with current placement of the vanity and requested an install where it was before. Installed vanity, faucet, and mounted to wall. Had to cut cabinet to allow room for water and drain lines and cut the molding to allow the legs to sit flush against the wall. The walls and floor aren’t squared and the vanity doesn’t have adjustable legs. The vanity doesn’t sit correctly on the floor and against the wall. The customer will have to have a carpenter build extensions for the legs, install a backsplash (there was no back splash s

Installed customer supplied 3/4 disposal. Removed upstairs sink as a courtesy and we wi return Tuesday to price vanity install for customer once it arrives and perform quoted work for installing a pop up assembly on a lavatory pedestal sink in the powder room.
