Customer stated that there was leak under kitchen sink. Found water coming from bottom of disposal and recommend to have disposal replaced. Customer approved price and furnished and installed new disposal. Tested for leaks and proper operation.

Customer stated that when shower is on, there will be a leak that goes into basement. Took a look at the shower and recommended customer to call a tile guy because it seemed like water was leaking through shower pan or through grout on the tile. At this time, customer didn’t want me to cut sheet rock to look at shower valve. Also found that water heaters from the year 2000 and recommended to have it replaced. Will send estimate to do so. Repaired waterline down at meter. Water pressure inside home at 132 psi. Left quote for PRV and expansion tank.

Customer stated that when irrigation was turned on there was a noise in master bed room area. Checked in crawlspace and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. Stated to customer to have the irrigation company come back out and check things on there side. Also stated to customer to have tankless flushed at least every 2 years.

Customer had a leak at the meter upon arrival. Customer stated they noticed water coming out of the valve boxes right at the meter. After lifting lid on meter and lid for gate valve noticed it was full of water. After digging up the meter and exposing the gate valve and then dug up where the meter box was and found where somebody had replace the water service from blue poly to black poly. Once digging the meter up notice someone cut a bracket that was holding the meter in place and once we went to take the check valve off that had rusted out the meter completely came apart, and you cannot attach to anything. Informed customer they need to call the city to replace the meter and have us back out to fix once the meter is installed. Came back to fix after meter was installed. Installed new meter nipple and new ball valve. Checked all new connections and there is no leaks. Water is turned back all system are good.

Shut down water to home and replace straight service. Stop valve for upstairs toilet. Replace toilet supply line and fill valve as well.

Replaced basement toilet with flange adjustment

Snaked kitchen sink. Drain was disassembled before we got here. Ran flex shaft down line multiple passes. Ran hot after to flush drain. Restored service to sink.

For this job, I worked on clearing toilet with hand auger.

Restored water to Hosebib via shutoff.

Customer will let us know when ready

Gave option to clear drain with flex, shaft, and other options of solutions to pour down the drain. Customer will call us back if drain cleaning solutions do not work. Gave estimate for reworking, copper lines and valve replacements in basement utility closet.

Furnish and install PRV and whole house, shut off, rework as needed, also install customer supply, single handle shower, tub, combo and customer supplied hose bib. Completed work as mentioned above,tested to insure proper function. Sheet rock removal may be required not responsible to repair 30 day warranty on parts And materials supplied by chen

Customer had toilet already taken apart upon arrival. Scriver toilet needed specific extra thick gasket to make correct seal. Went to store purchase correct seal and installed.

Replaced kitchen faucet

Customer concerned about high water usage. Meter does not show movement of water after five minutes. More thorough leak search can be performed upon request. Customer stated that they will monitor meter over a longer period of time.

Capped shower lines , tested and confirmed no leaks. Left estimate as well.

Customer wanted to camera vent line, found Easiest access in attic area, After we used camera in line we found where clog was, and ran snake to unclog. Tested everything multiple times to ensure proper function. (No warranty on drain cleaning or any liability that may be associated with work performed)

Furnished and installed sewer, ejection pump, added shut off and check valve, Tested multiple times to confirm proper function. Everything is working fine at this time.(Chen Plumbing is not responsible If pump gets clogged with baby wipes customer is responsible to pay if that occurs)

Shower repair

Customer stated that two toilets were rocking and wanted kitchen faucet replaced. Looked around home and found water pressure at 120psi and also another toilet rocking and S trap under kitchen sink. Shut water off to home. Furnished and installed new PRV. Upstairs in master bedroom, bathroom, pulled annd reset toiket and also replaced fill valve. Also upstairs in bedroom bathroom pulled, and reset toilet and found flange was broken. Replace flange and reset toilet. Downstairs powder room pulled and reset toilet. Installed customer supplied kitchen faucet and reworked drain for kitchen sink. Turned water back on and tested. There was no leaks found at this time and set water pressure to 65 psi. Caulked around bases of toilets and cleaned up work areas.

Repaired section of 2 inch abs in ceiling.

Customer stated that there was a leak in the ceiling. In bathroom by kitchen there was a wet spot on ceiling by fan. Cut Sheetrock and moved ceiling fan to side. Found 1/2in cpvc hot water line leaking in between beams. Shut water off to home. Cut out section of cpvc pipe and replaced with new section of cpvc pipe. Waited for glue to dry then turned water back on and tested. Bled out air out of the water lines. Tested repair and no leaks were present at this time. Also didn’t notice any other issues at this time. Cleaned up work area. Chen plumbing isn’t responsible for Sheetrock repair or the ceiling fan. Also will send estimate for water heater replacement due to age of over 12 years old.

Ezra is having wet spot show up just outside of kitchen cabinetry on ceiling. Carefully maneuvered through attic to view pipe from above. Unable to see any damage to piping. Cut ceiling from underneath around wet area to find leaking drain pipe. Connected customer with reliable restoration due to the amount of water damaging wood and ceiling. Gave estimate for repair.
