They got a couple issues going on the main issues that they called us about was the shower in the upstairs bathroom hallway is constantly dripping hot water so therefore I took a look at what the issue is and it’s a delta model 600 shower cartridge gave a couple different options on either rebuilding the cartridge or replacing The shower valve. Additionally took a look at the water pressure on both the front and the back hose bibs to see what was going on with that the water pressure was reading at 100 psi on both hose bibs so therefore, I recommended to replace the pressure reducing valve. The pressure reducing valve has a drip coming from the Not at the bottom of the pressure reducing valve of the pressure reducing valve needs to be changed out for a new one. Additionally, the thermal expansion tank is full of water so I recommended to replace that as well. At this time the customer needs to talk with their spouse to see when they would like to do the work.

Found irrigation customer shut off at meter stem broken ad stuck in the closed position. Replaced valve with new thread by press ball valve.

Replumb kitchen sink drain , two new traps , redo water line with two shut off valves and new pop sink chrome , p trap , repair cracked pipe inside wall , new toilet flange installed

Customer was looking for a leak detection company. Customer has slab leak and has had multiple companies out to confirm. Has leak detection company coming tomorrow

Leak not on anything to do with the home. Homeowner has a separate meter for his irrigation system. Somewhere on the 10 different zones in his very large yard, the irrigation system is leaking at a rate of .15 gpm. We offered leak detection in an attempt to locate the leak, but customer elected to just pay the $50 water bill for the meantime. Locating leak will be very difficult due to how small it is and how large the yard is. Homeowner is not aware of where all the zones are located as the system is over 20 years old at this point.

Replaced 50 gas water heater , new Prv , new expansion tank with bracket , installed pan under water heater , connected T P relief to the pipe outside

Customer stated they wanted garbage disposal removed under kitchen sink. Gave customer estimate to remove disposal and rework piping. Customer agreed. Went ahead and removed disposal and installed basket strainer. Reworked piping and installed studor vent. Tested and no leaks present at this time. Cleaned up work area. Put wire nuts on wire for disposal and taped them up.

Customer had her water bill go from around $20 to around $120 for the bill she received from April. Inspected the t&p lines for all three water heater and found no t&p lines leaking. Performed a dye test for all three toilets and found no signs of leaks. Pressure tested the irrigation system after cautioning customer that turning the valves for the irrigation on or off can cause them to leak or get stuck. Customer understood. Found no signs of leaks anywhere. Customer informed me after the inspections that she started irrigating in the month of April. Informed customer that since no leaks are evident that the starting of the irrigation is likely the reason for the increase of the water bill .

Problem with a power flask toilet , not flushing because of bad Sloan flushmate system , discussed with customer, agreed just replaced with a western elongated ADA toilet today so bathroom will be functioning without needing waiting to Monday for expansive repair .

Returned to install two customer supplied cartridges and a customer supplied whole home filtration system and softener. Removed old softener and installed new filtration system and softener in the basement closet. Installed two new cartridges in the master shower. Turned water back on to check for leaks and found no leaks. Flushed system for 70 minutes and set it up according to the directions. Tested to make sure both shower cartridges were working properly and the shower was getting hot and cold. Both showers are working properly and no leaks upon departure

Returning tomorrow to install customer supplied cartridges, filtration system and softener.

Snake cleaned master shower drain today

Customer had a sewage ejection pump that was shorted in the basement. Pump was stopped up with wipes. The breaker in the garage kept tripping and no being able to be reset. Tested the pump plug by bypassing the float plug and it still tripped. Plugged a household vacuum into the plug and it worked without tripping the breaker. Installed a new pump with a new check valve to correct the problem. Made customer aware that there are only 3 bolts left that can connect to the basin, the others are stripped. Resealed the lid with caulk. Tested new work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Customer was concerned about how often the pump is cycling. Informed the customer that the basin is minimally sized and that is the cause of it kicking off more frequently. Ran a stopwatch and determined the pump is cycling every 35 seconds or so.

For this customer, they have a leak on the cold waterline right up against the slab in the copper pipe, in order to properly fix the copper piping. We will have to remove concrete by chipping it out and jackhammering the floor in order to properly repair. The section of copper piping is a very small hole, but it created a lot of damage. I have referred to customers who are water restoration partner. In addition to that his water heater is from 1997, recommended replacement on that unit however the main priority is getting his water back onto the house. Give him a few options of what we could get started today however, the customer wants to shop around and get different estimates for this type of repair I had drawn a sharpie of where I would start my cut into the slab. For the proper fix. The customer wanted to just put a bit of solder on the hole to see if that would fix the solution. Customer had a three handle shower valve that was stopped and not working correctly. Checked customers house pressure at the unsafe range of 120 psi. Recommended replacing the shower valve with a single handle shower valve and correcting the house pressure. Performed recommended work for both and did a bonnet swap for front hose bib. Also recommended replacing 11 year old water heater but customer declined work at this time. Made customer aware that any drywall or tile that was cut was customers responsibility for repair. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks, none were found.

PRV leaking upon arrival. Customer stated the pool guy turned the water on and found a leak on the PRV, informed customer we could replace the PRV and check the remaining bathrooms to make sure they had no leaks. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. After installing new PRV and turning water on found a leak in the wall behind the women’s shower, a supply line leaking in the women’s bathroom, and the men’s showering leaking from the handle due to a broken cartridge. Informed customers we could replace all of these. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Repaired leak behind shower from outside, installed new Moen cartridge and replaced two supply lines one on the toilet and the other on the water fountain. Turned water back on and found no other leaks, all fixtures and toilets are working properly and no leaks upon departure

This customer has multiple leak spots in their ceiling, unaware of where they are coming from the CUSTOMER says that they’re a couple months old for each different leak spot in the hole. There’s one in the ceiling upstairs in the hallway. There’s one in the ceiling upstairs in one of the bedrooms, indicating potential roof leaks, and or HVAC leaks I took a look in the attic and I couldn’t find any active leaks. They all looked pretty old in addition to that. The other leaks that are on the home. One of them looks like it’s from the jetted tub upstairs in the master bathroom. Additionally, there is another leak near it. It could be from the same thing, but unsure can’t find where it is coming from there is a big language barrier between us too. Diagnosed toilet on main floor not flushing. Once arrived found toilet drained. Tested toilet thoroughly and found no issues and toilet flushing properly. Toilet is older and if issue continues recommend new toilet with stronger flush. Left estimate for new toilet

Call for no hot water, and a ringing noise. Arrived and spoke with Matthew on site. He states that last night they had no hot water, and his daughter noticed a ringing noise all night. Ringing noise is a failed toilet fill valve in the toilet in daughter’s bathroom. I was able to replicate on site. Additionally, there is a running Kohler two button flush valve in a different bathroom upstairs. Water heaters: Left two working and heating. Right side unit not heating. I isolated right side unit and tested water. Hot water is running. Checked thermostats, elements for continuity and resistance. No repairable issue identified, leaving us with isolating the unit or replacing it. Matthew mentioned that there are only 3 people living in the home, and would like to see if two 50 gallon units is sufficient for their needs before he decides to replace unit. Today we replaced the fill valve in the daughter’s bathroom. I discounted this as if we performed work yesterday while on site. Ins

Call for leak outside house and water noise in floor. Arrived and met with Matthew. He explained that they noticed water in the front yard near a drain pipe. He could also hear water running from inside the house. Inspection revealed the leak to be from a temperature and pressure relief valve serving one of three water heaters. The noise was from the water going through the pipes. Pressure reading was read at 150psi. True read couldn’t be taken as pressure exceeded T&P relief pressure. Prv was from 2014. It was not a high pressure PRV. One of two thermal expansion tanks had a bladder rupture and was waterlogged. Copper pipes throughout home. Discussed findings and concerns with Matthew. Today, we installed a high pressure and regular pressure regulating valve in series per protocol for pressures exceeding 130psi. We also replaced the shut off valve with a ball valve as a courtesy. Replaced one thermal expansion tank, and mounted both to dedicated brackets to support the weight.

Came out for a leak at the sink, upon inspection we found water was pouring out the bottom of the lavatory faucet on the left sink in the master bathroom. We received approval to replace the faucet with one we provided. Swapped out the faucet, the pop up, the p trap, and the supply lines. Tested to ensure a leak free install. No further issue at this time.
