We have inspected entire home plumbing today , we found a leaking bathroom faucet upstairs bathroom, replaced a new faucet , no any other issues at present , property is leak free at present time after today’s repair .

Customer had a leaking valve for washing machine box. Due to the age and condition of the valves and the box replacement is recommended. Replaced the box, made customer aware Chen Plumbing isn’t responsible for repairs to drywall, and capped gas line for unhooked appliance in the laundry room as a courtesy. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found and house pressure is in a safe range.

Call for water in ceiling after recent shower cartridge repair. Arrived and found water leaking from kitchen ceiling. Water was still on to home. It was stated that when the shower was used they noticed water, but not when the tub was used. I inspected the shower by removing the escutcheon and trim. When carefully testing we found the copper pipe going to the tub spout was not all the way in the female fitting. Photo is on file showing the pipe, and you can see the solder line. The spout pipe was bent at a hard angle and putting tension on the improperly soldered joint. We also noted poor soldering and damaged pipe at other sections of this shower valve. We performed a repair at no cost as a courtesy and demonstration of our commitment to quality customer service. We have contacted Provision Restoration and they have arrived on site and are taking care of the drying and repairs at no cost to the customer. We tested all functions of the shower and tub, ensured no leaks were present

Left estimate for water heater replacement. Strongly advise to replace sooner than later, heater is from 2010

Called out today to install a customer supplied toilet in upstairs bathroom after a water damage and restoration up there from a Water leak. We went to Clean the old wax off the flange and the whole piece came up. Unsure why it was put on there at all as it was not necessary. The flange below was still in fine condition and proper height. Sat new wax ring and closet bolts then sat the toilet down. Fastened to flange and checked for sturdiness. Connected supply line then turned on to test. All good. The old toilet is slowly running after turning on. Client asked that we turn it off and they would take care of that repair. Caulked around base of toilet.

Call for tub spout running. Arrived and met with Ms. Gracie and her son. They stated that the shower couldn’t be turned off and they had to shut off the water to the whole home. This started yesterday. I inspected the shower and found a Moen single handle shower valve. When turning the stem I could feel that it has separated and would not rotate to turn water on or off. Pressure regulating valve was from 2006/2007. Water heater was from 2007. I removed and replaced the shower cartridge. After pressurizing the home and testing, I reset trim and handle. I applied silicone behind the escutcheon. I discussed my concerns with the water heater and pressure regulating valve and advised Ms. Gracie that I recommend replacing both as soon as possible.

Customer had a water softener that he wanted removed from the water system in the home. Checked house pressure at 125 psi. Gave price to replace Prv and remove the water filter. Also left price for a new water heater. Customer expressed no desire to put a heater in that worked with the solar panels like the existing heater. Gave price to put a standard electric in and abandon the solar functions. Customer would like time to consider best course of action for the work to be done. No trip charge for water heater quotes.

This customer came out to their house because they are selling their house and they had their realtor take a look at a few things the expansion tank and a toilet that was continuously running however, upon arrival, we took a look at the thermal expansion tank and checked pressure as part of our thorough diagnosis and the water pressure is at normal range. It’s at 50 psi in addition to that the toilet was not running upon arrival took a look at the toilet. I gave the option to rebuild the toilet, but I don’t think it is necessary at this time due to the fact that I don’t hear it. In addition to that the thermal expansion tank bladder on the inside was bad once I removed it noticed that the bladder had exploded on the inside of the tank indicating expansion tank failure so therefore I recommended we install a new one however we would have to install a bracket so the expansion tank is properly secure with that in mind. Replacement of single handle cartridge glacier bay For this customer we replaced the glacier bay shower cartridge, the previous one would drip continuously, so therefore I recommend a few different options and the homeowner went with the repair. Replaced the cartridge with a new one we ordered. Once installed the handle didn’t fit on the cartridge so therefore I replaced the handle to accommodate the cartridge. One complete there are no further leaks. In addition To that I caulked the trim plate and the tub spout so therefore there wouldn’t be any gaps in the shower.

For this customer, they have a glacier Bay shower cartridge in the one of the bathrooms and in order for us to get the right part and install the right part we have to order it so therefore that is exactly what we are going to do and install the new one for the time being the glacier Bay shower valve has internal shut off valve so I recommended we go ahead and just Turn the shower valves off so no water is being wasted and that is the CUSTOMER said it was OK with that so that’s what we did the furthermore once that was complete. We will come back to install the new cartridge and no more drips should occur at this time. The water pressure is normal. The water heater is fairly new and the customer had recently done a re-pipe on this home from copper or polybutylene to Pex a

Water meter spinning slowly with main water valve off at home , quoted a water line replacement job today .

Customer called us out for high water bill showing 55,900 gallons of usage. Performed full evaluation found toilet continuously running due to failed fill valve. Also observed leaking hosebib signs of high water pressure. Tested system pressure at 110 psi which is above safe limits. Advised customer on replacement of PRV. Also, while on site, we noticed water heater to be 16 years old, which is past service life, recommended replacing. Customer approved water heater replacement furnished and installed new 50 gallon water heater. We brought the system up to code, including an updated venting, installed water shut off dedicated to water heater and installed a thermal expansion tank. System tested. All work is operating properly and leak free at this time. Warranty: applies to work perform and install components only. No warranty existing system conditions and/or piping.

Customer stated that old tank style heater went out and wanted estimate to replace with a tankless. Gave customer estimate for two different types of tankless and also went over all the information for tankless.

Customer called us out for no hot water, after doing our initial evaluation, we determine that either the elements or the thermostat was bad on heater informed customer that we could fully rebuild unit but unit was to the age of replacement anyway customer agreed on replacement of water heater. Furnished and installed 50 gallon tall water heater as well as replaced thermal expansion tank our work has thoroughly tested. The power to the heater has been confirmed with photographic evidence.

Water leak in yard upon arrival. Customer stated he shut the water off to the whole house and the meter was still spinning. After isolating the water to just the front yard found no water coming out of the ground. I dug up at the meter and found a blue poly line. Informed customer we could replace the entire line. Gave customer estimate, customer declined

This customer they installed the faucet however they cannot get the pop-up assembly to be replaced. That’s all he needed done is the pop-up assembly so therefore that is exactly what I did. It’s all a brand new pop-up assembly supply by the homeowner and got it installed once completed. There are no leaks. Installed a new putty around the flange installed the new part and the customers all set to use his water. Took a video of the water draining out to ensure that it’s leak free and there’s no further issues with that water pressure is at 70 psi and his water heater is two years old.

Garbage disposal is leaking. Customer wants to fix on their own.

Customer had water leaking from a new sink last Friday. Customer shared video of the incident that is attached to the ticket. In the video it appeared that the water was coming from the sink strainer. With the customers permission I put a large quantity of water in the sink and let it sit to test the strainer. No water leaked through. Dropped the water through the drain and saw no leaking. Uploaded video of test to show leak results. Noted to customer that the caulking seal at the top of the sink seemed incomplete. The water was filled all the way 8n the sink and that was the likely leak point. Customer had concerns for any water least under the cabinet or floor and wanted it to be looked at. I had Provision reach out to the customer to schedule a free inspection. Left quote for a new water heater because the existing heater is over 10 years old and replacement is recommended after 10 years.

Replace needle valve for refrigerator Shut water off to home and replaced needle shut off valve for refrigerator line. Turn water back on and tested. No leaks were present at this time. Also recommend replacing thermal expansion tank. Will send estimate to do so.

Checked back up problem , house is on septic , we snaked , cleared blockage , but appears to be problem with septic tank or Fieldline , no warranty , we gave quote to open the tank and install a riser next time if back up again No charge today as courtesy since we did some repair with pipe not long ago.
