Customer had a stoppage in septic tank and had it pumped out. Water had backed up into the home and was leaking under the base of all three toilets. Pulled and reset each toilet and seated with a new wax ring, supply lines, shims, and bolts. Mounted them properly to the floor and tested to ensure proper function and no leaks, none were found. Caulked the base and cautioned customer not to get floor wet for 24 hours while caulking sets. As a courtesy cleared soap scum from vertical part of drain for customer in shower. A shower we had repaired two years ago was leaking from cold side stem. Found the packing on the stems to be both be loose and coming off. Removed the handles and trim, tightened the packing nuts, and put new handles back due to the old handles being both cracked and stripped. Tested all additional work to ensure proper function and no leaks.

Customer had dripping shower and lavatory faucet in upstairs master bath. Checked house pressure at 85 psi with active trickling from the faucets. Gave price to repair/replace the fixtures and replace the prv and thermal. Customer declined work on the faucet at this time, but approved repairing the Moen shower cartridge and replacing the prv and thermal. Replaced the prv and thermal, set house pressure to 60 psi. Replaced the Moen shower cartridge. The face plate is torn and didn’t allow for proper setting to keep it from moving in the wall because the screws wouldn’t hold it in place, it’s also allowing water to get in the wall behind the plate. Handle is cracked for the thermostat. Recommended replacement. Customer is aware of condition issues with shower trim and opted for repair until bathroom can be remodeled. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Left price to replace water heater due to age reaching retirement. Also left quote to install two customer supplied l

Returned and installed gas line from attic to kitchen. Rand from capped line behind hvac unit and ran 20 feet of 3/4 trac pipe above ceiling and into the wall to kitchen behind microwave. Customer didn’t have the gas stove on site yet, but judged from pictures the space for shutoff was low to the floor. Ran line through wall and secured to stud in wall. Connected and tested all new connections for leaks. None were found. Relit water heater in garage.

Addressed an issue with a washer drain. Inspected the existing drain line and identified a clog obstructing water flow. Used a drain auger to clear the blockage and ensured the line was free of debris. Replaced the old, worn-out drain hose with a new one, securing it with hose clamps. Tested the washer's drainage system to confirm proper operation and water flow. Ensured there were no leaks or further obstructions, and left the area clean and functional.

I recently completed a job replacing a cast iron drain from the kitchen to the cast iron stack in the crawlspace. I also replaced the washing machine valves. The drain was made of cast iron, which is a durable and long-lasting material. Cast iron is known for its strength and resistance to corrosion, making it an ideal choice for plumbing applications. Replacing a drain made of cast iron requires careful planning and attention to detail. First, I removed the old drain and disconnected it from the plumbing fixtures. Then, I cut out the old cast iron drain and installed a new one using the proper tools and techniques. I made sure that the new drain was level and properly aligned with the other fixtures in the plumbing system. After the new drain was installed, I reconnected it to the plumbing fixtures and tested it to ensure that it was working correctly. I also checked for any leaks or other issues that may have occurred during the installation process. Replacing washing machine valves
