Customer sewage ejection pump lid seal is sealing gas out. Customer also asked me to empty pit out. I bypassed float and pump kicked on. Informed customer we would need to remove pump and lid to fix issues with gas smell. Customer declined estimate at the moment.

Shut down water to home and gas to water heater. Drain down portable water system and water heater. Replaced three-quarter inch PRV in crawlspace. Installed new 40 gallon gas ream water heater in utility closet. Customer will have possessions moved out of utility closet before project can begin. Furnish and install 2.5 gallon thermal expansion tank and replace isolation valve for water heater. Make all necessary connections before pressurizing system. Bleed out all air and light water heater once full. Replace fill valve in upstairs toilet.

We came out to repair a couple pinhole leaks on copper pipe . On was inside the kitchen wall , we had to cut open to find leak . Once we found it we decided to replace approximately 8 feet of copper pipe from kitchen wall down to basement to avoid future leaks on that line . We also replaced pressure regulator and main shut off valve to the house Front hose bib was replaced

We inspected leak under kitchen faucet and found that the garbage disposal was not locked in place with flange . So we tightened it and tested for leaks . No more leaks were found but advised homeowner to leave container underneath the disposal and keep an eye on it for next couple days just in case.

Super professional, walked me through everything and made sure I knew exactly what he was going to do and any other options.
Juan from Chen Plumbing did a great job on replacing our main line. He was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. He showed up on time and cleaned up his mess, including repairing the yard when he was done. He also thoroughly investigated and explained the issues and fixes to us ahead of time. Afterwards he again walked us through what was done, explaining and showing us the changes. He also noticed some issues with our irrigation system and was able to make some small fixes free of charge. This is the 2nd time weve called Chen Plumbing for a big issue on our house. Both times weve been very pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge of the plumbers who worked with us. Would definitely recommend them and will call them again if needed in the future.

Today we had a leak in basement. Mr. Chen can a week ago and put in new pipe in front yard. It was expensive but the job was good. Today we called again. He was in and out in about an hour and the cost was more than I expected. Very high for work he did. As a good customer I thought he would give a small discount since it’s been so soon since the last leak.
