Call for sewer cable stuck in clean out, and backed up sewer main. Arrived and met with Bud. He explained that he was trying to get the sewer line cleared and his cable bound up, and became stuck in the clean out. I asked about the history of the home, and Bud mentioned that the main has been replaced with pvc to replace terra cotta pipes. A few years after the replacement he started having issues again. Once I ran the hydrojet and was able to get the camera in I found that there is still 10-15 feet of old line towards the city side. Severe root intrusion has led to backups. I ran the jet at each union and cleared the roots. Video before, during, and after shows progress. Bud also asked me to check a leak under the home, and I repaired a half inch copper elbow with a pin hole. I also replaced another small section of copper with an active leak during this process. Replaced a washer for p trap , right side of the sink , no charge

Replaced 40 gallon gas water heater in basement. Redid vent transition and replaced with proper reducer fittings. Replaced leaking gas valve on fuel line to water heater. No further issue at this time. 2 year labor warranty, 6 year manufacturer warranty.

Replaced three stop valves under kitchen sink. Connected sink drain to wall outlet, installed customer supplied strainer, added dishwasher branch to the tubular piping and capped off the old copper drain in the crawlspace as Home Depot installers will not go into the crawlspace. Finished connecting kitchen faucet. Tested to ensure a leak free install.

Clogged toilet upon arrival. Customer stated over the weekend someone used the downstairs bathroom and now it only slowly drains out but won’t fully flush. After running sink and shower for 5 minutes the toilet flushed on its own. Flushed toilet multiple times and it no longer backed up. Recommend to customer it would be a good idea to run the camera down the line just to make sure they were no big objects in the line since the customer did not know what was flushed. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Pulled toilet and ran camera all the way to back water valve. Ran water down the line to make sure the valve was working properly. Checked leak in basement on copper line. Left estimates to resolve issue.

Shut off water to home and drain plumbing system. Cut out and remove old pressure regulator and gate valve. Install new pressure regulator and 1/4 main ball valve. Set psi to 65 and test for proper operation Remove master bath shower trim and remove cartridge. Install new pfister cartridge and test for proper operation

Customer stated that dishwasher was backing up. Ran a cycle and dishwasher was draining as it should and couldn’t get issue to recreate itself. Tenant also stated that it only happens when dishwasher isn’t used in about a week. But if she uses it every day it works as it should. Stated to customer that the only thing we can do plumbing related is run a snake through abs drain line. Customer first wants to get the appliance it self checked out to make sure everything is working properly. Will send estimate to run snake.

Pull and reset toilet in basement, cleared main line blockage , camera inspection found two area with major roots problem , quoted repair by the house only .

Upon arrival, tenant explained that sewage was coming out of tub, confirmed, and diagnosed line to be stopped up. Main line for both tenants were stopped up, provided landlord option to pull toilet and to run equipment down line to attempt to clear landlord approved however, we did inform landlord that there is a possibility we are we might not be able to clear line landlord understood and approved work. We could not unstop line so we offered next step which was jetting landlord approved again we unstop line successfully with Jetter ran multiple fixtures in house and confirm line to be clear line does have major root infiltration will leave estimate to spot repair and install the clean out as well

Main line blockage upon arrival. Customer stated this happened last year as well but he was able to clear the line using a blow bag. Informed customer we could attempt to clear the line using our big snake and then running the camera behind it. After running snake I was able to puncture through the blockage allowing the line to drain slowly. Ran camera behind the snake and found a blockage at 22 ft under the driveway. Informed customer his line was flowing but the issue would happen again in the future. Customer wanted his cheapest option to get the line flowing better for now. Informed customer we could jet the line out to prolong the bigger job. Gave customer estimate to jet, customer just wanted to pay for us running the snake today and hold off on any other jobs.

Customer stated that hot water was coming out discolored. Found that water heater is from 2003 and recommend to have it replaced. Will send estimate for water heater replacement.

Call for leak near toilet after recent toilet installation. Arrived and met with Ms. Paula. She said she came down last night and noticed water in the same area as our last visit. We inspected and checked all plumbing, and kept Ms. Paula informed as we progressed. Inspection revealed that was was coming down and traveling along a three inch pvc line, but not the main level toilet line. This line is a couple feet away and serves the master bathroom, specifically the toilet and the shower. After investigating we determined we needed to open the wall and ceiling. Once open, we found a 90 degree elbow joint that was cracked and leaking when the toilet and shower were ran. During a prior visit, we found water dripping from the main level toilet, as well as on the floor, from a loose toilet. Shower diverter replacement What is CUSTOMER? They were experiencing low water pressure coming out of the showerhead in the master bathroom shower and the handle was also leaking so therefore, I recommended to replace the shower cartridge on the inside of the shower. It took about the handle, took apart the trim plate and remove the old bonnet nut and then wiggled out the cartridge put grease all in the shower body valve to ensure proper fitment. In addition to that make sure everything was nice and tight install the new blue cartridge the prior one the O-rings on the inside were getting stuck with inside so there should be no issues with that moving forward Once installed took a video showing that is no longer leaking from the handle and more importantly the water pressure is back to normal . Had to locate the water meter to turn off the water to the home. It is next to the utility box out in the front yard. No leak after installation.

Customer had customer provided faucet to install after holes were drilled in countertops. gave options for install, and to install customer provided basket strainer after installing both items checked for leaks and proper function.

We determined customer got two defective Kohler cable waste and overflow drain assembly We cut drywall behind the two bath tub for access , replaced two tub waste and overflow assembly. Not included drywall repair , we tested with water all the way to overflow make sure no leak anywhere.

Customer wanted to replace multiple faucets during home renovation. Gave multiple quotes for various replacements. Replaced widespread faucets in upstairs master bath, kids bath and downstairs hall bath after replacements checked for leaks and proper function. Will return to install other items once items arrive. Explained to customer about exterior overflow assemblies.

For this customer, we went through the house to do our annual inspection took a look at their brand new tankless. Everything looks good with that. Their water pressure is at 60 psi however I did recommend lowering the main shut off valve to a more accessible location and go towards the walljust so it’s accessible for everybody. What I also recommend is the Aldi shut off valves at the home or all the push connect style in I recommend either replacing them with all brand new compression style or threaded connections for the shut off valves rather than the push connect style in additionally, we did our camera scope of the sewer line and at 37 feet we ran into a problem. Where the paper separated from each other, and then there is a root intrusion a little bit backwards of where the problem is so therefore, I recommended that we did that up and repair that section of pipe before it becomes a bigger problem at this time, the customer wants to look over their financials and see what works be

I did our annual plumbing inspection for this homeowner, took a look at all bathrooms, two fulls, one half. All the shut off valves have been replaced at some point they are all 1/4 turn. Everything in the kitchen is new for the plumbing system, the washing machine box is newer. Water heater is from 2019, we did flush the heater, the t&p has some oxidation and corrosion on the valve itself so I gave an estimate for that, With that in mind the water pressure is normal, major of the home is in good shape in terms of the fixtures and supply, the dwv will need some attention at some point due to the fact that it is cast iron & pvc partially. Recommend to get that repiped in pvc. The water supply is all copper.

Replace shower drain trim. If any additional work is needed there will be an additional charge. Customer stated that he was attempting to replace tub drain piece and it broken off. Attempted to remove broken piece but couldn’t and stated that piping will need to be replaced. So went ahead and remove waste and over and installed new piping. Offsetted drain for proper fitment. Also installed new drain trim pieces in brush nickel. Tested work and all tested fine with no leaks. Cleaned up work area.

Customer wanted price to scope sewer line with camera. Gave customer pricing for both cleanout inspection and pull and reset. Spent around 10 min searching for the cleanout through the landscaping and didn’t see anything evident. Customer was hesitant to pull toilet to run camera until speaking with the owner first about liability for the pull and reset. Waived dispatch fee and spoke with Hunter about checking call logs because customer said he was already given pricing over the phone for the inspection prices. Informed customer if this is the case that we will review the calls.

Did site inspection/ consultation for tub and shower drain issues, quoted waste and overflow replacement work today

Customer reported water, pulling at base of toilet. After consulting with the tenant, we identified a potential blockage. We communicated findings and options to the landlord, who approved pulling the toilet and running the camera inspection. Upon inspection, we found standing water approximately 5 feet downstream from outside cleanout. Camera inspection also shows roots that infiltrated left side of pipe however, main issue is further down line without clearing line, we are unable to determine the underlying issue of the line holding water. customer declined next steps on figuring out what is going on with pipe.(Chen plumbing has identified a drainage issue, recommended a repair, and the customer assumes full responsibility for any future issues, backups, or damages.) we properly reset toilet and flushed approximately 20 times to confirm no leaks work is tested and complete.
