Found upstairs tub/shower was passing water. Found psi set at 80. Prv is 6 months old. Found delta seal was cracked. Replaced delta ball, seals, and seats and springs. Tested with no leaks or failures at time of service

Tested all connections and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area. Chin isn’t responsible for any sheet rock repair. Once inspection is done will come back and finish out job. Dawson Foster visited us on the Wednesday May 7th. He and his partner were friendly enough however, my problem while being addressed, was not fixed. I had a leaky tub faucet and got a factory replacement cartridge direct from Pfister just in case it was needed. I may have been but Mr.Foster said it would cost over $400 to replace with a part I already had. It’s a 10 minute job that I have done several times so not sure where you guys get off wanting to charge that kind of money. This was kind of a test case in that soon I will need a re-pipe for my home and as we are getting ready to build out an addition for a “mother-in-law” suite, new service for that as well. You guys are now out of the running. My math thinks that if you guys charge $400+ to change out an faucet cartridge, I can’t fathom what you would charge for the work I just spelled out. Not going to public besmirch Chen but you just lost what I would consider to be a formidable job.

Price covers up to 2 hours of leak detection. Will credit 50 percent of leak detection cost toward any repairs that are needed. Ten percent discount applied for members. In some rare cases, the equipment may not be able to pinpoint the leak source. Dawson: performed leak detection and found leak under slab in the kitchen. Located line and marked with tape. Left estimates for repair.

Customer had water showing up on neighbor’s side of sidewalk for condo unit. Whenever customer shuts water off at street the water stops showing up. The water is handled by the hoa so the units aren’t individually metered and the rate of loss can’t be confirmed. Informed customer that the leak appears to be on the slab and that leak detection will be necessary. Was able to confirm by turning off gate valve inside and water was no longer rushing through the pipes with no water being run. Checked the toilets and t&p on the water heater to ensure no secondary leaks were occurring. When inspecting, noted the age of the water heater and recommended replacement to avoid potential water damage. Pressure couldn’t be accurately checked in the home. Dawson will return to do leak detection and inform customer of next steps.

Left pricing to either replace the toilet or rebuild the internals and tank to bowl as well as pull and reset. Customer inquired in the price difference between new install and repair. (Not responsible for landscaping) Installed 1 inch pex from meter to inside of garage, hooked up to copper in garage, sealed all penetrations with hydraulic cement, ensure line was not leaking by spotting meter meter showed no signs of movement line is working as intended, after inspection has concluded, we will come back and fill in holes left open for Inspector. Bled air and debris out of line, in-house informed homeowners that if air persist or debris persist to keep running water.

Tested for leaks and no leaks were present at this time. No warranty coverage for repair due to location. Covered back soil and Cleaned up work area.
