Water Heater Repair & Replacement Services
Our water heater services include installation, repair, and maintenance for both traditional tank and tankless water heaters throughout Norcross.
Routine maintenance removes sediment caused by Georgia's hard water, helping your water heater operate more efficiently, extend its lifespan, and lower energy costs. If your system is over 10 years old or no longer provides reliable hot water, our technicians will evaluate its condition and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best long-term value.
Sewer Line Repair, Replacement & Inspection
Slow drains throughout your home, gurgling toilets, or recurring sewage backups often indicate a problem with your main sewer line.
Chen Plumbing understands how mature tree roots, aging clay sewer pipes, and Georgia's shifting red clay soil can damage underground plumbing over time. We use sewer camera inspections to accurately locate the problem before performing minimally invasive sewer repair or replacement solutions that protect your property while restoring dependable drainage.
Drain Cleaning & Clog Removal Solutions
Our professional drain cleaning services eliminate stubborn clogs and restore proper flow throughout your plumbing system. We inspect the affected drain, locate the blockage, and use professional equipment such as drain augers or hydro jetting to remove buildup completely.
Whether you're dealing with a routine clog or a more serious blockage, our team has the experience and equipment to solve the problem effectively.
Emergency Plumbing Services When You Need Help Fast
When frozen pipes burst during a Georgia cold snap or your sewer line fails unexpectedly, Chen Plumbing is available with 24/7 emergency plumbing services. Our technicians respond quickly to locate the problem, minimize damage, and restore your plumbing system as soon as possible.
Plumbing Inspections to Prevent Costly Repairs
Our plumbing inspection services help identify developing issues before they become expensive emergencies.

Customer had water leak on main service going to home when I arrived. Customer already had hole dug and pipe cut. Customer was looking for repair on cut section after repairing section of pipe turned on water to check for leaks and proper function. Customer also is to backfill hole.
Massive kudos to Cody Ard with Chen Plumbing on fixing a water pipe leak from my meter to my house. A very professional and personable plumber. Thanks to Chen Plumbing for dispatching someone to my house within a hour of reaching out. I would use them again if another pipe leak or plumbing issues occurred at my property.
Came out for a kitchen sink not draining. We found the kitchen sink upstairs is tied into the drain with a downstairs kitchen sink. The pipe they both connect to is cast iron running under the slab. We have option to jet the line to try to restore proper flow, and also gave options to replace/reroute the pipe. Homeowner has two hose bibs that leak constantly when they are turned on. Also gave options for an old shower valve that is constantly dripping. Water pressure tested in the normal range. We emailed over quotes so homeowner can discuss it with her spouse before they make any decisions due to the scope of work required to address the drainage issue.
Customer stated that toilet wasn’t flushing right and only would flush when urinal was flushed. Tested water pressure to building and found that water pressure was above 80 psi which can be causing the issue. Also found that water heater in attic/loft space where HVAC is is over 10 years old and isn’t heating hot water. Would recommend to replaced or remove water heater due to age. Stated to customer that we can make repair on toilet, but won’t be able to warranty due to water pressure being above 80 psi. Customer rates on went ahead and installed new valve for toilet and tested. Toilet is now working properly and no leaks at this time. Cleaned up work area. No warranty on work today due to high-water pressure
Diagnosed water leaking on subfloor seen from crawlspace. After further investigation found ac unit above had water damage around it as well as water dripping off of discharge line going down on subfloor and into crawlspace. Recommend having ac company inspect unit and to fix any issues with unit. Also no water lines or drain lines around unit where there is leaking.

Call to provide estimate for new project in new sanctuary room. Arrived and met with Levin on site. While inspecting new project area, we also discussed condition and maintenance of the rest of the property. Main project is still slightly early for us to provide n accurate estimate. We will need to know the expected plans, layouts, and requirements before providing an estimate. We may need to perform camera inspection of sewer lines exist if required for engineer/plan designer. I would expect water and drain work, concrete demolition, and the addition of a point of use water heater (will require electrical supply), and potentially a dedicated pressure regulating valve. I performed a walkthrough of the property with Kevin and we discussed some challenges they are facing with plumbing, and some common issues faced specifically in church environments with plumbing. We discussed avoiding generic toilet parts if DIY projects are going to be done, as they often lead to problems. I demon

Job Details & Customer Concerns Customer contacted us for a quote to replace their existing water heater. Home has a 10-year-old gas water heater located in the attic. Josh reported two significant floods over the year and wants to prevent future water damage. Inspection Findings Confirmed 10-year-old natural gas water heater in attic. Main water shut-off and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) are also located in the attic. Access Challenges: Very tight access via attic staircase. Gas line and water lines create significant obstacles. May require temporary removal/repositioning of attic stairs, gas lines, and water lines to safely maneuver the old unit out and the new unit in. This will add labor time and complexity to the installation. Home has copper piping. Water pressure measured at 55-60 PSI. The PRV appeared to be set low. Josh confirmed occasional irregular pressure (strong flow that then slows down). Likely related to multiple main line repairs and water interruptions in the comm

The communication from Chen Plumbing is great. They confirm and keep in touch via phone and text, and when they were delayed for my original visit time, offered me a slight discount for rescheduling for another day. Shane Silva who came to fix our kitchen sink leak, leading to installing a new disposal, was friendly and knowledgeable, and giving us several options at different price points was helpful and the right thing to do. He worked fast and efficiently. Chen emailed me photos of the work done, too. I hope I won't have to call a plumber any time again soon, but if I do, it's Chen Plumbing all the way.
