1/2 gate valve leaking on back hose bib. Turned spigot on and water started shooting out of the spigot handle. Gave customer estimate to replace ball valve and hose bib. Ran camera approximately 84 feet and located underneath driveway. There is major belly underneath driveway that will need to be replaced. Advise customer to get with septic company to get tank Dug up and pumped. Gave estimate for drain replacement underneath the driveway. No warranty for reset due to broken flange.

Customer had wet stains on ceiling in basement. Informed customer we would need to cut a hole in the ceiling to figure out what is leaking. Customer approved us to cut hole. After cutting hole found 2” cast iron line leaking. Gave customer estimate to cut out cast iron and install pvc customer approved estimate. Price is to replace gas pipe through the floor. Will cut above floor before new stop and below to pull pipe through floor. Will open ceiling in the great room below and find a viable connection point to run trac pipe through the floor. Let customer know anything removed for drywall or concrete is customer responsibility to put back. 11/5/24 Returned and cut drywall in the living room on main floor. Pipe ran through floor support and was obscured by a sheet metal enclosure. Went from the top and removed packed concrete to expose pipe from above. Replaced with black iron through the floor support and to the new stop. Tested all work and found no additional leaks. Left the union below the floor for the final connection and did threaded connections only where the concreted portion is to adhere to code.

Price is to cut out key turn gas valve that feeds fireplace in the master bedroom. Will cut black iron and Megapress new fitting to new stop. Will connect to the soft copper with a flared connection. 11/26/24 Returned and cut out old key turn valve for fireplace. Threaded new black iron into the black iron 90 coming from the floor. Reconnected to threaded pipe running under concrete to fireplace and mega pressed pipe in place. Tested work for leaks and found a leak on megapress fitting. Cut out again and reworked it. Tested all pressurized gas piping above the floor. Found no leaks on work performed with soap. Was getting a gas reading coming from the floor with the electronic detector. Let customer know that pipe passing through floor can’t be tested. So with the gas reading coming from the floor. The pipe needs to be replaced through the floor to ensure safety.

I've dealt with Chen two times...both in 2024. Both plumbers who did the work were excellent craftsmen, and were friendly & interactive. The office staff is easy to reach, and they use the latest technology to communicate with their customers. I think the prices were fair. There was no price gouging going on. If you're looking for a plumber in the north or east parts of metro Atlanta, they are an excellent choice.
I had been used this company for few years. They had great customer service from A to Z. Professional, price friendly and knowledgeable technician Juan Diaz. I highly recommended you.

Had a great experience with Matthew C. today! My guest shower started leaking, and unfortunately my old home has the plumbing behind my shower in a very tricky & inconvenient location. Matthew told me "we'll get it done" and he got it done! He was able to get behind the shower in the least invasive way possible (even though he had to cram himself into a corner to do it) and we were able to avoid having to do major tile work. He fully replaced the shower valve and I have a non-dripping shower in better condition than before the leak even started! Thank you Matthew and Chen Plumbing ⭐️

While our need was not an emergency, Tim Chen Plumbing was able to see us the same day we called, identified the problem and proposed a solution. They returned a few days later and made the repairs. Cody did an amazing job. He fixed the leaking pipe in my basement and fixed the water pressure in my shower. It was for an amazing price and it was done quickly. After he completed the job, he showed me what he fixed and was very professional. 10/10
We had an emergency and our our lawn was being flooded. Cody came out within the hour! He treated our property as if it were his own and was able to save our newly planted sod. We are so very grateful for this five star service.

I’m in the process of selling my house, and has a major gas leak. My realtor referred to me Chen Plumbing. Eric, a technician, was sent out to my house, and he found the leaking gas line was in the crawl space where to pipes were in contact with each other. He made the repair, and I was so impressed with his work, I had him come back out to take care of some plumping issues before I sold the house. He did great work!! The people in the office were also great, and they kept me informed of when the technician was going to be out to do the work. I recommend Chen Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work done!
