Call for leak in ceiling. Found leak to be coming from vent in roof serving 3 inch pvc pipe.videos attached for roofing contractor. We also noticed two other areas of wood that appeared to be damaged by water, and a poorly insulated hvac line that's dripping on to gas line and floor. I discussed findings with customers and they advised us that they have roofers already scheduled to come out. Notes for roofer roofer: went up ladder and behind hvac unit. 3 inch pvc line leaks from vertical span. Above water heater is damaged wood. Also above pvc line has a small damaged spot. Gave customer description of work as follows: Price is to cut out drain line and trap below the floor of kitchen and rough up a new two inch drain line through the floor and cabinet. Run new traps with new basket strainers. Tie in diswasher drain properly. Replace both basket strainers for the price of one strainer. Customer had a slow draining sink to an improperly trapped and vented line. Replaced the pvc through the floor and performed work as quoted to correct the issue. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Gave price for RO filter and water heater replacement in the attic.

Customer had glasses fall off of shirt when flushing the toilet. Gave customer multiple options. Gave option to auger the toilet, or pull toilet and reverse auger the toilet. Cautioned customer about running the auger since it can cause scratches on the toilet, or may push the glasses into the main line and cause issues. Customer understands the risk involved with auguring and agreed to do that as a first step. Couldn’t clear the stoppage. Customer opted to replace the toilet. Noted to customer the flange is sitting low and can cause issues. Customer was ok with doubling the wax ring. Customer declined me going to attic to take a picture of the water heater due to heat concerns.

Came out for a toilet whistling. Arrived and met with the homeowner. She directed me to the hall bathroom toilet. When the toilet was flushed, the fill valve was making a loud whistling noise. Inspected inside of toilet and found the tank bolts were just piles of rust inside the tank. Told the homeowner I could replace the fill valve but recommended rebuilding the whole tank. Toilet would not be cost effective to replace as it is tiled into the bathroom floor and would be difficult to find a toilet that matched the size and shape. Valve to the toilet was very difficult to turn. Recommended that we replace the valve but the customer requested I spray WD40 on the valve which I did at no charge. Not responsible for any failures of the valve. Closed the main valve to the house and drained off the pressure to work on the tank. Customer stated that there was a leak under kitchen sink and thought is was coming from garbage disposal. Ran water and confirmed that disposal was leaking. Gave customer options on repairs and at this time customer didn’t want to proceed with any work.

Replaced a old 50 gal gas water heater , add pan , expansion tank and water shut off valve

Call for water pouring from water heater area. Arrived and met with Ms. Debbie and Mr. Warren. They showed me water coming from utility area, out the garage floor (concrete and unfinished areas). I discussed history of area. Water heater was installed approximately four years ago. Inspection revealed the following: water heater is five years old. Pressure greatly exceeded safe levels, and pressure regulating valve was from 1986. Water heater is functioning and does not have any leaks or stress. The water is coming from a failed from condensation pump. The pump is overflowing, and water is pooling around water heater and driveway area. I discussed findings with Ms. Debbie and Mr. Warren. They elected to replace the pressure regulating valve to address the major pressure problem. They will contact an hvac service to assess condensate drain line and pump. I discussed the benefits of our maintenance membership program and have left the information as well.

Replaced leaking 50 gal gas water heater in basement. Installed new Rheem 50 gal gas 12 year warranty water heater in new pan. Installed with new ball valve shutoff off and expansion tank strapped. Also ran new trac pipe gas line to water heater. Also ran new 3/4 T&P line to exterior of home. Water heater is lit and working properly at departure. No leaks at departure.

In both upstairs bathrooms showers back up after running water for few minutes. Run snake and clear shower drains. Fill shower pan and test drain for proper operation and flow. At same time clear lavatory sink drain trap as courtesy. Test all work for proper operation and clean workspace Tested water pressure and checked water heater, pressure is around 68psi and found newer prv from 2021. When checking heater noticed heater was not installed up to code. Currently exhaust to side of home in basement. Left estimates for heater replacements with correct heater options.

Replace ptrap under kitchen sink For this customer they called us out for an issue of the tubular drain not draining correctly. I had pointed out an issue with the ptrap and how it tends to collect food debris and waste, I recommend to replace the ptrap and the t joint as it will fix both the clogged drain and the ptrap, so that is exactly what we did replaced it with all new tubular piping underneath on the right side of the cabinet. At this time the line and cleaned clear, wasn’t able to get a water pressure reading, water heater is an electric from 2020.

Customer has leaking water heater in basement. Customer stated it has been leaking for roughly two weeks. Gave customer options to replace water heater. Water heater replacement includes new pan, expansion tank, shutoff valve, new T&P line and new gas line ran around ac unit.

Returned to install new navien 240a2. Installed new navien 240a2 with a new expansion tank, new service ports, ran condensate to hvac condensate pump. Also ran 10 ft of 3/4 Trac pipe to the tankless. Turned water and gas on to check for leaks and found no leaks. Fired up unit and tested fixtures to make sure they are getting hot. Customer has hot water to all fixtures and unit is working properly. No leaks upon departure.

Customer stated that kitchen sink was backing up. Tested and kitchen sink was backing up almost instantly. Stated to customer that we need to run snake to attempt to clear blockage and a customer agreed. Went ahead and took apart P-trap under kitchen sink and ran drain cleaning equipment. Was able to get stoppage cleared. Tested by filling up kitchen sink multiple times and dropping and now kitchen sink is draining as it should with no signs of backing up. Stated to customer if kitchen sink continues to back up. Will recommend doing kitchen sink re-pipe for drain line which will have estimate to do so. Call for dekalb county low flow certificate of compliance. Arrived and met with Aaron on site. He states that they recently moved in to the home, and the county is requiring a low flow certificate of compliance. He also asked about a drip pan under the water heater. I performed the inspection and can verify this address is in compliance with the low flow requirements. During inspection we found several items that we brought to the attention of Aaron and Ashe. Specifically, we found the following: Water pressure reads ok at 50psi. Prv looks less than one year old. Drip on copper pipe in crawlspace basement area. Compression end stops for sinks in bathrooms, attached to pex b pipes. Kitchen drain and basket strainer in severely deteriorated state, with several active leaks. Broken kitchen faucet. Water heater expansion tank unsecured and hanging only by support of copper pipe. T&P line also has copper fitting with cpvc inserted, attempted to be sealed by cpvc glue. Today, we r

Water leak upon arrival. Customer stated the city came out and changed the meter due to it not working correctly and told her to wait 30 days and see if her water bill goes back to normal. After checking meter it was still running. Checked to see if the leak was in the yard but it was not. After looking noticed toilet in hallway running constantly, informed customer this would be the reason for the high water bill. Customer also mentioned a pressure issue. Checked the PRV and when two fixtures are ran the pressure drops 30 psi. Informed customer we could replace the PRV to fix that issue. Gave customer estimate to rebuild toilet and replace PRV. Customer stated she would rebuild the toilet herself.

Performed low flow compliance inspection for dekalb county. All toilets are newer and have been previously replaced and also faucets are also newer. Filled out compliance form for customer. Checked stains in kitchen ceiling for any wetness, none found checked bathroom above and found nothing leaking down visibly. Was called out for leak upstairs bathroom and smell of gas around water heater. When I arrived homeowner showed me the spot from to leak in ceiling of bedroom downstairs. When I started locating where leak could be coming I noticed shower head was broken and spraying wall and running down to the trim kit and tub spout that had a gap and was running behind the wall. Also tested water pressure and was at 130 which caused the expansion tank to become water logged.Replaced PRV(set to 60 psi)and main water shut off. Replumbed in expansion tank. Replaced showers head and caulked trim kit and spout. Checked work and cleaned up work area

Snake the main drain from a clean out in the front of the home , line is old cast iron pipe with not lot slope , clogged with paper , it may happen again , next time we would need use hydro jetting equipment to do more deep cleaning, left quote with customer for jetting .
