Job Locations and Reviews
Examined all the plumbing issues requested. They explained the cause of the problems very clearly. Discussed repair options and costs before work was started and completed all work the same day. Very satisfied. Great service!

Client called us out today to check out a couple different plumbing issues in the home. The main floor hall bathroom lavatory faucet on the cold side was not operating properly as it did not have a stop anymore. The upstairs hall bathroom toilets kohler flush seal was out of place and corroded, and the master bathroom shower only had very low pressure. We pulled the handle off of the main floor lavatory faucet, and removed the old DELEX/delta faucet stem, and the seat and spring. Replaced the stem and seats and springs, then reinstalled the nut and handle. Faucet is now running as it should. We replaced The upstairs hall bathroom toilets kohler flush seal with a new one, then set the water level in tank to proper level. That toilet is now running as it should be. We tried to rebuild the master bathroom shower valve to no avail. We replaced the old delta shower valve with a new single handle delta shower valve and chrome trim that we supplied. We cut the Sheetrock behind the shower
Returned and installed a new drain line for the vertical run in the basement. Connected to existing abs pipe and ran the pipe to within a foot of the cast going down into the wood paneling. Reinstated both wye fittings with new PVC wyes to existing cast iron piping. Made customer aware that the way the cast is laid out that there is even sloping for the last 2 of so feet of pvc. Tested all work to ensure proper slop, drain, and no leaks. None were found.
Professional and got the job done and a reasonable price.
Hey Patrick, thanks for the great feedback! We’re glad you felt the job was handled professionally and priced fairly. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future!

Customer said that there was two hose bibs that were leaking. Gave customer options on replacing or repairing. At this time, customer opted to repair both hose bibs. Turned water off to home and replaced washers on both hose bibs. Turned water back on and tested. At this time, there were no leaks. There will be no warranty for work today due to Band-Aid repair.
Customer had a leaking 40 gallon gas water heater. Also had a leaking 90 on copper piping and needed a gas shutoff for code compliance. Installed new 50 gallon gas water heater with a new pan, thermal expansion tank, and shutoff. Tested all work to ensure proper functioning and no leaks. None were found. Found another leak on another 90 near the courtesy repair. Charged a small fee to drain the water backing down and repair that section also. Tested all work after the repair and saw no other leaks.

Returned today to install new water service. We dug two holes one at the meter and one at the house. I trenched a hole to both of the other holes to run the water service. We installed a new stub out and reconnected it to main water line in the home. We also installed a new meter nipple and a new ball valve in front of the meter. We tested for leaks and everything is working properly with no leaks or issues. We also backed filled all the holes.

Found upstairs hall bathroom, three handle shower diverter was not diverting fully giving a low volume in the showerhead. Found nylon seal had deteriorated. Gave homeowner options to replace three handle shower valve or repair. Homeowner went with the repair option at this time. Replaced the diverter stem and seat. Reinstalled handle and tested with no failures at time of service.
Customer had high pressure in home. The prv was leaking and the thermal expansion tank had failed and was undersized. Customer requested quote for a new water heater due to the age. Replaced water heater and installed a new 75 gallon gas water heater, with a new pan, large thermal expansion tank, and shutoff valve. Replaced the prv and whole home shutoff with a more readily accessible shutoff. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.

Installed two shower valves

Customer is having issue with water leak coming into basement through main support beam of home. Previous plumbers in the past month have replaced water heater, PRV, flanges, toilet and stop valves. Cut ceiling in basement to further diagnose issue. Cut drywall around back to back bathrooms. Broke tile in standalone shower to chase down water leak. Went into attic to inspect flashing for ventilation line. Source of leak has not been found. Gave customer estimate for replacing both back to back shower valves that are both tiled in. Leak could be roof or gutter system recently installed.

Customer has a leak in water line outside , very deep , quoted repair and approved , but after we dug hole. , customer decide use someone else , applied discount for not doing the repair , just changed time for diagnosis
Professional, polite, and conscientious service done in a timely manner. I couldn’t be more pleased with a job well done!

Customer stated that city called him and said that there was a water leak to where he was losing 25 gallons per minute. Did a quick test to see where water leak can potentially be. Shut off, main house water valve, and meter continued to spin. Stated the customer that there is a leak between the meter and that valve. Also, main waterline goes under slab. Recommended customer to call national leak detection and once they pinpoint where leak is, give us a call back to come and make a repair.

Returned today to do swap out. I uninstalled the old tankless and mounted the new one. I connected the hot and cold water lines as well as the gas and vents. I also installed service ports for when it is time to service the tankless. When I started testing the tankless to make sure they were getting hot water the tankless poped up a code for ignition failure. I tried seeing if any gas would come out when I disconnected the track pipe from the shut off valve and nothing came out. I went to go get a new gas valve and turn the gas off to the home when I noticed that the gas company as put a lock on the meter while I was working. I informed the customer she would have to call the gas company to take the lock off and informed her that all she had to do is plug the tankless up after they get the lock off. I informed the customer If they have any issues after the gas is on to calls back out to take a look.

Replaced water service line from meter to the crawl space , five years warranty

Replace and relocate main water shut and Prv to crawl space door for easy access , replace a toilet and water shut off valve , flushed tankless water heater
Customer had pest control tech inform them that water was leaking from drains on cast piping in the crawlspace. Found the issue to be a dollar plug had popped out. Bolt was too seized to reinstall. Gave pricing and completed work to go back and put a fernco cap over the open pipe. Informed customer it’s time to consider replacing the cast also. Left quote to inform customer of the scope of the work. If the line back up it can create enough head pressure to pop the temporary cap back off. Turned on front hose bib for customer.
Customer had toilet with a bolt, not secured to the floor and swiveling at the base. Pulled the toilet and found both sides of the flange to be broken. Toilet was sitting on slab. Used Tapcons to mount metal repair spanners to the flange. Then connect to the toilet to the spanners with metal bolts, shimmed and caulked to the floor. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found house. Pressure to the house was only 50 psi. However, the T&p was discharging and the heater is 17 years old. Left price for a new water heater.

Home water pressure is right at 55 psi in the safe range. 1 yr labor warranty
Incredible responsiveness on a Sunday night after 8pm.we came back from SC to a flooded kitchen, basement ceiling tile below saturated wirh water and several on the floor that had broken. Water dripping into the basement kitchen. Crawl space and rec room ' quite the fiasco! Mr Chen came, quickly diagnosed seversl.problems, got right to work, and helped us determine additional resources we would need. Problems were fixed, recommendations made fior more work to prevent the next disaster - all done courteously, patiently and professionally by someone we had never met. I had seen previous recommendations in a local FB group and it was all true. Highly recommended!

Client called us out today to look at running new gas lines for future gas appliances. Went checked the water pressure and it was almost 120 psi, safe range is 50-79 psi. We ran new 1/2” gas lines in the crawlspace over to living room fireplace and capped just below in crawlspace. Ran new gas line for future outdoor nat gas grill, ran thru fresh air vent, then stubbed up with a shutoff. Painted that outside line to prevent rust per code. Was not a plumbing issue. Condensation dripping off of the hvac system.

Plumbing

Client called us out due to kids bathroom 3 handle tub/shower valve constantly leaking in the tub and below into the basement. Today to get the leak stopped, I turned water off to home, and installed ball valves on the lines running to that shower valve, and turned the valves off so client can still have water throughout the home tonight, just not that individual tub/shower. Returned today to replace the 3 handle shower valve with new delta single handle tub/shower valve, with new remodel plate to cover the excess holes from the old leaking shower valve. Had to cut some of the tile and grout in order to get the new valve in. Once water lines were connected to the new valve we tightened everything up, and tested. There are no more leaks. Sealed around the remodel and trim plate with caulk. Advised client to give it at least 4 hours before use. 1 yr parts and labor warranty

Upon arrival customer stated that the main sewer line had a blockage between the clean out outside and the septic tank. Gave customer estimate to run flex shaft and camera. Customer approved estimate to run flex shaft and camera. I can the flex shaft out to the septic tank and back 3 times and was able to clear the blockage. When running the camera I noticed the line was still holding water due to the septic tank needed to be pumped. Customer stated that the septic tank has not been pumped for 3 years. Informed the customer he needs to call a septic tank company and get them to come out and pump the septic tank. Customer also did not want me to come inside and take picture of the water heater

Small leak on 1” blue polybutylene water line up at the foundation. Slab home. No way to repair 1” blue poly. Left quote to reroute waterline.
Cody Butts and his assistant did an amazing job repairing our shower handle. Everything went smoothly and quickly, he knew exactly what to do. Thank you!!
Hey Millie, really glad to hear everything went smoothly with the shower handle repair. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review!
Cody Butts and his assistant were super helpful and gave us options for how to proceed. Our shower was an unusual setup but he was able to figure out a good repair quickly, and now my shower works better than ever. Thanks guys!
Chen plumbing and Cody specifically did a great job trouble shooting and then fixing my issues. Any time they are needed they come through!
Hey Chuck, thank you for the review! Glad Cody and the team were able to get everything sorted out for you. We appreciate your continued trust and are always here when you need us.
Excellent service and knowledge.
Since I got the toilet replaced, I thought there would be more of a discussion on toilet height and efficiency so didn't get a much different one than I had so was disappointed in that. I also had to remind them to check for leaks as that was what the call was for originally. But replacing the toilet was quick.
Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable.
Juan and Dailton did a fast, friendly and effective repair of my 50 year old toilet.
This was my first time using Chen Plumbing and I was very impressed with the customer service and quality of work. Juan replaced two sump pumps for me. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done, gave me a fair quote and scheduled an appointment to do the work. He arrived on time for the appointment and ready to work. Juan has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. If I need plumbing service in the future, I will request Juan.
Technicians were nice and knowledgeable. They were here promptly and were so willing to explain why they were doing things!
The response to my call was timely. Every equipment and appliance need was immediately available. All issues were thoroughly explained. And a more general check of plumbing matters was initiated. I would use the service again.
Excellent service

Exellent Service
I've dealt with Chen two times...both in 2024. Both plumbers who did the work were excellent craftsmen, and were friendly & interactive. The office staff is easy to reach, and they use the latest technology to communicate with their customers. I think the prices were fair. There was no price gouging going on. If you're looking for a plumber in the north or east parts of metro Atlanta, they are an excellent choice.
I had been used this company for few years. They had great customer service from A to Z. Professional, price friendly and knowledgeable technician Juan Diaz. I highly recommended you.
Thank you, Lifen, for your kind words and for being a loyal customer; we're glad to hear that you appreciate our service and Juan's expertise!
Had a great experience with Matthew C. today! My guest shower started leaking, and unfortunately my old home has the plumbing behind my shower in a very tricky & inconvenient location. Matthew told me "we'll get it done" and he got it done! He was able to get behind the shower in the least invasive way possible (even though he had to cram himself into a corner to do it) and we were able to avoid having to do major tile work. He fully replaced the shower valve and I have a non-dripping shower in better condition than before the leak even started! Thank you Matthew and Chen Plumbing ⭐️
Terrific experience!
We are so grateful to have Tim Chen plumbing as a local option for repairs. While our need was not an emergency, Tim Chen Plumbing was able to see us the same day we called, identified the problem and proposed a solution. They returned a few days later and made the repairs. Both Eric and Andrew were courteous and professional, leaving the site as clean as they found it. We highly recommend the Tim Chen Plumbing team.
We are so grateful to have been able to assist you promptly and effectively, Cathy! Thank you for recommending our team.
Cody was on time and very professional. Very informative and completed work in a timely manner.

Very personable and fair. Not only did Max and his associate do a great job, when they realize it didn’t take as long as quoted, they gave us a reduced price. I will always use them. This is not the first time.
Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We will share this with the team to let them know to keep up the amazing work!
Cody was professional and very thorough. High compliments for his excellent service.
We are pleased to know your experience with us was a good one!
Cody did an amazing job. He fixed the leaking pipe in my basement and fixed the water pressure in my shower. It was for an amazing price and it was done quickly. After he completed the job, he showed me what he fixed and was very professional. 10/10
