Inspected customer faucet and found that the pullout hose had loosened and allowed water to leak down the neck and under the sink. Tightened the joint to stop the leak and made customer aware of the cause. Left quote to replace faucet if customer decides to update the fixture.

Customer stated that there was 2 toilets backing up. Upon arrival check for clean-outs around home. Found clean-out in crawlspace and started flushing toilets. In crawlspace saw water flowing past clean-out and didn’t notice any backing up at this time. Flushed both toilets over 10 times. Stated to customer if issue happens again call septic company first because customer stated that septic has been serviced in at least 6 years.

Visually inspected and found no issues with the flange. Set toilet with new supply and wax rings and tested. Found it functioned properly with no leaks.

Customer sewage ejection pump discharge line is not strapped and banging around. Customer also stated they don’t use the downstairs bathroom or go down there for weeks but will hear the pump kick on. After looking at bathroom down there informed customer the toilet was running. Customer stated he would turn the toilet off to see if that fixes issue. Informed customer if it still kicks on then we will need to replace the check valve on line.

Customer wanted plumbing updated for pedestal sink for lavatory faucet next to garage entrance. Replaced the stops, the Ptrap, the faucet, and the pop up. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Made customer aware before starting work that the trap arm coming out of the wall is soldered in. The only way to properly repair this is to cut the wall and rework the drain line. Customer opted to connect to existing waste arm with the understanding that if it broke, or there’s any future issues, that a repair will have to be made in the wall. Caulked the base of the pedestal back in place and made customer aware that the caulk needs 24 hours to dry before getting wet from cleaning etc.

Price is to furnish and install new shower cartridge for upstairs shower. Made customer aware that this is the likely issue and if that doesn’t correct it further valve failures will be determined after the repair. 3/27/25 Returned and replaced the cartridge for upstairs shower. The tub spout is no long dripping. Made customer aware that the trim plate is either missing a piece that holds it in place, or maybe the valve was set a little too deep. But the drip plate was secured by being caulked to the wall. Made customer aware that without all the pieces the trim plate would have to be set back that way. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. *Caulk will need a full 24 hours to dry before use

Customer had recently installed shower valve/recently remodeled bathroom. The shower cartridge that was in the new valve was audibly allowing water to trickle through the cartridge and out the tub spout. Performed cartridge diagnostics and found the currently installed cartridge. Ordered and will return Wednesday to install new cartridge. Made customer aware this is the logical next step, but will only be able to determine other potential issues once the new cartridge is installed. Also made customer aware that the trim plate was only siliconed to the shower and doesn’t have any trim pieces that secure to it. Will have to put the plate back the same way without all of the trim pieces. Isolated the valve at valve shutoffs until repair can be made and left the trim removed. Discounted 100 dollars from the quoted cartridge replacement price to offset diagnostics collected for today. Will return Wednesday afternoon for repair.

Customer had water leaking from under toilet. Inspected behind the wall and found water pooling under pump, wall, and floor. Recommended having Reliable remediate the water damage present. Also found that the toilet drained to an above ground basin with built in pump. Pump was no longer pumping properly. Found the shower ran individually to a sump pump basin and that pump was shorted. Removed the shorted sump pump, shutoff the shutoff to the above ground basin and cut the vent line, removed the toilet, capped Cpvc lines to bathroom, and replaced the prv (customer had 80 psi water pressure). Left quote to rework the drains in the basement properly to a single sewer ejection pump and not have two individual pumps or drains discharging out of the back of the home. Also left quote to replace galvanized water service. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.

I've dealt with Chen two times...both in 2024. Both plumbers who did the work were excellent craftsmen, and were friendly & interactive. The office staff is easy to reach, and they use the latest technology to communicate with their customers. I think the prices were fair. There was no price gouging going on. If you're looking for a plumber in the north or east parts of metro Atlanta, they are an excellent choice.
I had been used this company for few years. They had great customer service from A to Z. Professional, price friendly and knowledgeable technician Juan Diaz. I highly recommended you.

Had a great experience with Matthew C. today! My guest shower started leaking, and unfortunately my old home has the plumbing behind my shower in a very tricky & inconvenient location. Matthew told me "we'll get it done" and he got it done! He was able to get behind the shower in the least invasive way possible (even though he had to cram himself into a corner to do it) and we were able to avoid having to do major tile work. He fully replaced the shower valve and I have a non-dripping shower in better condition than before the leak even started! Thank you Matthew and Chen Plumbing ⭐️

Cody did an amazing job. He fixed the leaking pipe in my basement and fixed the water pressure in my shower. It was for an amazing price and it was done quickly. After he completed the job, he showed me what he fixed and was very professional. 10/10
We had an emergency and our our lawn was being flooded. Cody came out within the hour! He treated our property as if it were his own and was able to save our newly planted sod. We are so very grateful for this five star service.

I’m in the process of selling my house, and has a major gas leak. My realtor referred to me Chen Plumbing. Eric, a technician, was sent out to my house, and he found the leaking gas line was in the crawl space where to pipes were in contact with each other. He made the repair, and I was so impressed with his work, I had him come back out to take care of some plumping issues before I sold the house. He did great work!! The people in the office were also great, and they kept me informed of when the technician was going to be out to do the work. I recommend Chen Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing work done!
