Customer stated that we were out previously to look at stain on ceiling. Customer stated that stain on ceiling got bigger. Recommended customer to cut open ceiling and run fixtures upstairs in master bath to attempt to find where the leak is coming from. Cut hole in ceiling and ran shower for about 20 minutes and didn’t notice any leaking. Also filled up shower pan and didn’t notice any leaking. Stated to customer that at this time don’t think leak is related to plumbing. Also recommended to keep ceiling open to see if leak will come back when someone is taking shower. Also stated that Chen plumbing is not responsible for sheet rock repair. Cleaned up work area.

Customers washing machine drain needs to be replaced due to machine pulling back dirt. Will set up to return tomorrow to continue full work. Returned the following day to cut out concrete (3’x3’) in order to redirect line. Found line from ptrap to be broken due to aging and abandoned line in slab, reroute washing machine box to stack next to back door. Repaired small section in bathroom floor which was full of grease, which indicated line was full of grease back to stack next to back door. Cut out section of stack and included new 3” test tee and tie in to washing machine box. Used jetting equipment to jet line all the way to the tie in to the main to remove grease from line. After jetting, ran camera to check quality of jetting work but later found pipe partial collapse right where line ties into main line. Customer has functioning system as of now but will need to further address the piping collapse in line. Put back dirt in bathroom but have not put back concrete due to further work
Customer had 40 tall water heater leaking in the attic. Initially check house pressure at 100 psi. Found that hose bib was run before the PRV. Checked the house pressure off of toilet stop at 50 psi. Replaced the heater with a 40 short and disposed of the old heater. Installed new heater in existing drip pan and installed a new thermal and a new shutoff. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.
I will be asking for Cody A in the future if we require any work to be completed.

Homeowner stated that her first floor toilet located on hallway entrance would run continuously and shut off the angle stop until we arrived. Upon arrival I knocked and homeowner answered and explained what the issue was and showed me the toilet and the angle stop handle had broken which she also told me about. I then did my inspection and didn’t find anything else wrong and talked to homeowner about some solutions. She opted to simply just replace the angle stop for now and would take some time to see what she wants to do. I began by shutting off the water and draining the home and them removed the old angle stop and escutcheon. Once the pipe was prepared I installed a new compression angle stop and new supply line for toilet as well as a new escutcheon. I turned on the water and it works properly no leaks or issues and homeowner is satisfied with the service provided.

Customer had a garbage disposal that was leaking from the bottom. Gave customer pros and cons of replacing the disposal vs eliminating the disposal. Customer opted to remove the disposal and add a sink strainer. Made customer aware that we would put wire nuts on the old electrical, but an electrician should come behind us to properly remove the line. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.
Customer called us out to finish repair previously started on water service, provided a quote to repair line however, due to the nature of the pipe, we cannot offer warranty, customer approved, repaired line thoroughly tested bled air out of house and debris. Everything is working as intended upon departure.

Toilet and bathtub and shower in the main floor is backing up and flooded the main level. I removed the toilet in the hallway bathroom to have access. I ran my snake for about 95 feet and get to the blockage was able to get the sewage water to come down. I put in the camera and there is standing sewage water from the 90 feet mark from hallway toilet and beyond. Possible root intrusion and broken pipe at 90ft mark to 100ft. Recommended excavation, no flushing or draining until resolve.

Customer three handle shower tub valve. Keep leaking out water nonstop unable to turn off water at the shower. I recommend customer to rebuild or replace the three handle shower valve. Very high water pressure recommended install a pressure reducing valve.
Eric was great, above and beyond our expectations. Very knowledgeable.
Came back to replace the old PRV and fix a leaking pipe that was agreed by homeowner yesterday but had to get parts from supply house. Upon arrival I shut off the water at the meter and began working in crawl space by removing the old PRV. It was activity leaking and I cut it out and installed a new ball valve and two PRV system a black tag and the green tag. Once they were in place I pressed them together and moved to the first floor to repair a section of 1/2 copper pipe. I cut out the section that had the pinhole and used two couplings to install and connect a new piece of copper pipe. Once it was all properly connected I turned on the water and check for leaks or issues which non were found and homeowner is satisfied with the service provided also likes the new pressure since before when using any two fixtures they would lose a lot of pressure and now it works properly and can open multiple fixtures and he doesn’t loose pressure. Homeowner states that he smelled gas and I did look
Customer requested replacement of old cast-iron PVC for a restroom remodel we upgraded the toilet piping into PVC so the contractor could install the new flange with ease. We also replaced the water piping for the vanity sink and drain lines above the crawlspace added capped to water lines so that the contractor could easily attach service stops later, in the crawlspace we found buildup in the old fitting so we replaced it with new PVC and proper fittings for long-term reliability. We also installed the customer supplied shower valve and insured everything was supported and leak free.
Replaced old leaking water heater. Water pressure was previously at 100 psi. Replaced PRV and set to 70 psi. Tested to ensure proper function and a leak free installation. Vent appeared to be back drafting out of vent hood on water heater. All visible venting had pitch. Vent is connected to hvac system and is going into chimney stack. Recommended homeowner have a licensed hvac company come inspect the chimney to see if a chimney liner was ever installed in the home.
Replaced both hot and cold water shut off valves , kitchen faucet with we supplied , pull out spray and soap dispenser

Clear out the blockage at about 15 feet from the toilet after that I camera line find that there are cast iron pipe that run underneath the slab is very corroded and have a lot of scale in it. Cody is my kind of plumber. He's more interested with assessing and identifying the problem than looking for ways to milk customers. He listened well during his visit and offered potential solutions to what may have been cause the intermittent sewer smell in the house. Without question, I would highly recommend Chen Plumbing and in particular, Cody! He's the man!
Victor and his assistant were quick to locate the mystery leak and repaired it correctly. They cleaned up incredibly well. It was impressive.

Incredible responsiveness on a Sunday night after 8pm.we came back from SC to a flooded kitchen, basement ceiling tile below saturated wirh water and several on the floor that had broken. Water dripping into the basement kitchen. Crawl space and rec room ' quite the fiasco! Mr Chen came, quickly diagnosed seversl.problems, got right to work, and helped us determine additional resources we would need. Problems were fixed, recommendations made fior more work to prevent the next disaster - all done courteously, patiently and professionally by someone we had never met. I had seen previous recommendations in a local FB group and it was all true. Highly recommended!

Hey Chuck, thank you for the review! Glad Cody and the team were able to get everything sorted out for you. We appreciate your continued trust and are always here when you need us.
Excellent service and knowledge.
Since I got the toilet replaced, I thought there would be more of a discussion on toilet height and efficiency so didn't get a much different one than I had so was disappointed in that. I also had to remind them to check for leaks as that was what the call was for originally. But replacing the toilet was quick.
Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable.
Juan and Dailton did a fast, friendly and effective repair of my 50 year old toilet.
This was my first time using Chen Plumbing and I was very impressed with the customer service and quality of work. Juan replaced two sump pumps for me. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He explained what needed to be done, gave me a fair quote and scheduled an appointment to do the work. He arrived on time for the appointment and ready to work. Juan has a great personality and was a pleasure to work with. If I need plumbing service in the future, I will request Juan.
Technicians were nice and knowledgeable. They were here promptly and were so willing to explain why they were doing things!
The response to my call was timely. Every equipment and appliance need was immediately available. All issues were thoroughly explained. And a more general check of plumbing matters was initiated. I would use the service again.
Excellent service

Exellent Service
I've dealt with Chen two times...both in 2024. Both plumbers who did the work were excellent craftsmen, and were friendly & interactive. The office staff is easy to reach, and they use the latest technology to communicate with their customers. I think the prices were fair. There was no price gouging going on. If you're looking for a plumber in the north or east parts of metro Atlanta, they are an excellent choice.
I had been used this company for few years. They had great customer service from A to Z. Professional, price friendly and knowledgeable technician Juan Diaz. I highly recommended you.
Thank you, Lifen, for your kind words and for being a loyal customer; we're glad to hear that you appreciate our service and Juan's expertise!
Had a great experience with Matthew C. today! My guest shower started leaking, and unfortunately my old home has the plumbing behind my shower in a very tricky & inconvenient location. Matthew told me "we'll get it done" and he got it done! He was able to get behind the shower in the least invasive way possible (even though he had to cram himself into a corner to do it) and we were able to avoid having to do major tile work. He fully replaced the shower valve and I have a non-dripping shower in better condition than before the leak even started! Thank you Matthew and Chen Plumbing ⭐️
