For this customer, we did their annual inspection, he took a look at everything all three bathrooms, took a look at the water pressure with the water heater the kitchen, the laundry room with the laundry sink and everything associated with the house. The house is on a septic system with no accessible cleanout addition to that the customer did not want to flush their water heater out today. All the service stops underneath the sinks and toilets have been replaced recently. At this time. There are no issues that I see are going to happen soon and or will happen in the near future everything for the water heater was plumbed correctly. Water pressure is at 50psi. At this time of service, there are no issues.

Minor toilet tank repair on the toilet For this customer, we came out to their house to what it looks like a high water bill issue. They were telling us that their water bill was $1700 and then it jumped up $3000 and it’s all because of a toilet that was continuously running upstairs. they don’t use this bathroom ever so when I had arrived, we took a look at the toilet And it turns out that toilet has been running nonstop because the fill valve was bad. Took a look at the water pressure & the water Pressure is reading at 60 pounds so there’s no issues with a pressure issue however with the water heater there isn’t a thermal expansion tank on the cold side of the water heater nor the hot side indicating a potential issue with thermal expansion, going through the house, causing that running toilet Addition to that the water heater has some corrosion on the hot side water piping. It looks like there is a small pinhole leak potentially on the copper recommended to get that replaced and a

We came out to attempt to locate a possible leak. Customers water bill went from $30 to $200. Customer is on septic. We first received approval for leak detection and an exploratory dig. After opening the valve to the irrigation system we found the meter was ticking up by .01 gallon every 5 minutes. Customer already had another plumber walk the whole house and check all of the fixtures inside the home. .01 gallons every 5 minutes is too small of a leak to leave a loud enough signature. Recommended the customer leave the valve to the irrigation system off when not using it to see if this affects the bill and rule out other possibilities.

Replaced a faulty expansion tank , removed a sharkbite coupling on hot side top of water heater , replaced with propress fitting , discussed and signed up membership with customer today

This customer did the DeKalb County low flow water inspection. Their house has been remodeled from the inside. The toilets have been replaced along with all the shower fixtures, so they are all low flow. In addition to that the water heater is out of code. It needs to be fixed with the proper thermal expansion tank And mounted with a bracket we would have to redo the cold water line and properly install the expansion tank addition to the drain lines underneath the lavatory sink in the bathroom downstairs in the kitchen sink the flex pipes that were used are incorrect and need to be properly corrected with hard piped poly tubing and PVC fittings for proper fit. The water pressure is fine at 45 psi And the customer is all set.

Customer called because toilet in basement was overflowing. After further inspection we noticed the sewage ejection pump would not start, recommended replacing pump also noticed water pressure to be extremely high recommend replacing both ,customer opted only to replace pump at this time furnish install new sewer ejection pump connected to existing vent and discharge line. thoroughly tested everything I found no issues work is tested complete.

Customer had a leaking frost proof hose bib by garage door. Shutoff off gate valve inside, cut out and replaced the old frost proof with a new one. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.

Customer had a leaking hose bib in meter box by driveway in garage. Gave customer option to replace the hose bib. Made customer aware that the stub up is galvanized for the hose bib, due to the age and condition of the pipe, no warranty can be given on repairs. Customer understood. When doing the inspection of the water heater and pressure, smelled gas in the utility room. Made customer aware of the smell and informed customer we need to do gas detection to find the source of the smell. Customer declined detecting the gas leak. Attempted to make customer aware of the severity of a gas leak. Customer still declined.

Slab home with grey polybutylene lines under the slab that are leaking. Water service has already been replaced. They have had slab leaks in the past. Gave quote options to repair or replace the piping in the home. Customer wants to go over everything with her husband before she decides. Water pressure was at 50 psi.

Customer wanting estimate to replace water heater upon arrival. Customer stated the water heater is getting old and he wants to replace it. After checking pressure found PRV had failed and would also need to be replaced. Gave customer estimate, customer declined estimate. Customer is getting 3 estimates before deciding

Customer had flood in basement downstairs. Found water in area of sewage ejection pump pit. House is 30 years old pump has never been replaced. Suggested to replace pump in order to eliminate pump as issue. Customer is in middle of claim needs to send work to insurance to have approved in order to proceed with work. Gave options for replacements

Client called us out to replace a leaking old angle stop for a toilet in the hallway bathroom. It was tucked behind the toilet and right next to vanity, so we cut the old stop off, then used a pro press male adapter into a new multi turn angle stop, and installed with new chrome escutcheon as well. Installed new braided toilet supply as well. Turned water back on and tested, no leaks. Home water pressure good at 50 psi.

Client called us out to give estimate on repairing a leaking cast iron drain pipe in the basement bathroom ceiling. Due to water lines being run all over the drain pipes that need repaired, we will have to cut out those water pipes in order to cut out and put back the drains. We will put water lines back after drains are in. Client responsible for Sheetrock or any other repairs necessary after work is complete. Waived SF

Customer called us out for no hot water after a thorough evaluation. We determined the water heater was no longer working as intended. Recommended a replacement as well as a replacement of the PRV valve (pressure reducing valve) water pressure was taken and was elevated at a unsafe level 120 psi ,regular levels of Water pressure should not exceed 80 psi and should not be lower than 40 psi inform customer on what was wrong.

Could not find anything leaking upon arrival. Notice stop valves for lavatory were in bad shape. Also faucet needed to be replaced. Replace hot/cold stop valves, faucet, p-trap and supply lines. Ran water to test. Filled lavatory several times to test. No other issues at this time.

Customer had a water heater in the crawlspace leaking. Customer had a lowboy gas water heater. Informed customer these are no longer manufactured. Gave customer option for a tankless install or an electric lowboy install. Informed customer cost of lowboy doesn’t include the electrician cost to connect the power to the unit since no electric hookups are in the crawlspace. Also informed customer that there would likely be discoloration or air in the line because no one was home at the time of job completion to bleed the air from the lines in the home.
