Quoted a cast iron repipe job today

Shower leaking upon arrival. Customer stated the shower leaks when someone is taking a shower. Customer stated he had the shower recaulked a few years ago and it fixed the issue but now it’s leaking again. After filling up tub and running shower found the water and drain lines not leaking. Informed customer the water could be due to the grout failing and having cracks for water to escape and that’s why it’s happening when someone is showering only. Left customer with estimate to redo tub and overflow just based on the look of those drain lines. Reliable will be in contact

Basket strainer leaking upon arrival. Customer stated the basket strainer has a slow drip. Informed customer we could replace the basket strainer. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new basket strainer. Filled up sink all the way and let drain to check for leaks. Found no leaks. Basket strainer is no longer leaking. No leaks upon departure

This job CUSTOMER called us out to take a look at a possible clogged toilet and or clogged mainline. He didn’t have a clean out outside, but he did have a sewer lid that connects all the drains in the community nearby. I had him run water and flush out everything And everything drained all out doesn’t appear to be clogged in anyway the toilets flush fine and so does the shower ran water for a good 1015 minutes to ultimately determined that the line is clear and nothing needs to be action on as of right now the customer also wanted us to take a look at the shower to see if they want to convert it and or replace and rebuild the shower, stems or replace it altogether and they are ultimately waiting to see what they want to do for that as for the drain I believe it is perfectly fine with no issues, but gave different recommendations of what we can do I couldn’t check water pressure because the hose bib didn’t work in the water heater is too old for me to check it CUSTOMER is wanting to wai

For this job we were going to stub the toilet line out for the new flange and run the new water line, the county has to come out and find the water meter, once the meter is located we will come back and finish part of the job. At this time we have to wait o. The county to do the locate and complete the job. Came back out to the straw because the county located the meter was able to turn off the water and start the small re-pipe that we recommended to do redid the toilet supply line and reconnected into he hose Bibb line, used cpvc transition fittings to go into Pex and tied all the connections in. Removed all the near by shark bites and push to connect fittings, customer wanted us to go into the wall and repipe the line in front of there, so therefore I cut a small square to access the line and fed the new pipe down. Made sure the pipes were secure. No leak from, installing the new pipes.

Hose Bibb and shower dripping constantly upon arrival. Customer stated her water bill went up because the shower and hose Bibb won’t shut off. Informed customer we could replace both. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new front hose bib, and new single handle shower valve in the back bedrooms bathroom. Turned water on to check for leaks, found no leaks. Check to make sure new shower valve anti scald device was set properly. Shower is getting hot and cold water and no leaks upon departure. Hose bib is no longer dripping. Everything is working properly. No leaks upon departure

For this job it was to replace the hot and cold shower stems, I was able to successfully remove and replace the hot side with a brand new gerber stem, there is no further leak from that. However the cold side stem will need to be chipped away from the back side to remove the stem and reason is due to fact that mortar is blocking the the nut to get it out. Y recommendation is to remove the drywall on the backside and chip the mortar from the back side and then replace the stem. At this time the homeowner wants to think it over and wait to do that. I am charging half due to the fact that I only did have of the Job. Water pressure is at 75 psi.

For this CUSTOMER, we went ahead and replaced the kitchen sink faucet due to a leak on the internal supply line. There is no fix for it in that case we had to go ahead and replace the faucet so that is exactly what we ended up doing with that mind, the customer supplied us with a brand new Moen faucet and one head and installed that Moen faucet came with pre-existing supply lines. Tied everything together and there’s no further leaks at this time. Customer also wanted me to take a look at the washing machine drain line. They had painters come in and remove a zip tie from the supply line and the drain line so I added a new one and no extra cost

Customer had a pressure reading of 120 psi in the home. The prv was no longer working, the whole house shutoff was leaking when turned off, the thermal expansion tank had failed, and the heater was over 20 years old. Re0laced the heater with a new shutoff, pan, and thermal expansion tank. Installed a new prv and shutoff. Set house pressure to 63 psi. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Left quote for Flo by Moen and under sink RO system.

Checked in crawl space under kitchen and washing machine , found some water on plastic ,old cast iron pipe need replacing, customer has special insurance coverage would like to check with them first , we did not do anything today

Gave customer estimate to replace 50 gal electric short and bringing it up to code

Adjusted hot water temperature up by customer requested

Was called back out due to kitchen sink drain ptrap coming apart. The saintee was too high, so we cut it out and lowered the samitee down, to give some room to put ptrap on properly.

For this customer their supply line is leaking from the kitchen sink faucet, it is an integrated supply line, so therefore I am unable to repair the faucet. At this time the recommendation is to replace the faucet with a brand new one, the customer will be supplying the faucet and as a result we will be putting it in. Since it will be customer supplied there will be no warranty coverage. Water heater is in good condition and the pressure is at 60 psi. At this time no action is needed on that .

Gave customer estimate to install customer supplied faucet, add 2 new stops with new supply lines, replacing the flapper in the women’s toilet, installing customer supplied ice maker, and replacing a Sloan flush valve

Customer had broken flush valve on existing Mansfield toilet. Customer had parts for Mansfield flush valve already. Replaced the flush valve (with customer supplied part), and then provided and installed fill valve, trip lever, supply line, and tank to bowl kit. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Customer water pressure is at a safe level. Customer water heater is almost 30 years old. Replacement is strongly recommended due to age and condition. Left price for replacement.

Checked problem with dishwasher , not plumbing issue , customer need repair or replacement for the dishwasher

Today we fixed a copper water pipe leak under the kitchen floor , leak was located by national leak detection company , we used big jackhammer break the concrete, replaced a leaking copper coupling along with a tee fitting , fill the hole back with dirt , not include fix concrete back

Found a bad basement sewerage ejector pump , replaced with a new Zoeller M264 pump , new check valve and ball valve installed

Warranty call for fixed a gas leak from a 1x 1 x3/4 maga press fitting, replaced a defective fitting with a new one

Customer stated that there was a leak on drain under kitchen sink. Gave customer quote to replace piping under kitchen sink and reworking customer approved. Went ahead and replace piping and rework piping. Afterwards tested for leaks, and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area.

Replaced remaining cast iron pipe in basement with PVC pipe , replaced a toilet flange as well , second toilet flange was replaced by customer

Cut out existing waterline out foundation wall, and install new waterline through foundation wall. Seal penetration properly. Customer stated that where penetration was for water line water and mud was leaking in. Gave customer quote to fix and customer agreed. Shut water off at the meter and dug down to waterline going through foundation. Cut out pipe going through foundation one replaced with new one. Turned water back on and tested for leaks. No leaks were present at this time so I went ahead and sealed up penetration hole and covered back soil. Also was send estimates for other plumbing repairs customer wanted done. Cleaned up work area.

Client called us out today due to the master bathroom shower stall not draining as it should, and the master bath toilet seemed to be a little slow flushing. Upon further observations, we saw the toilet is still currently flushing, though it may be slower than usual. Over time, toilets can lose their flush power from calcium buildup inside the toilet, causing some slower flushing. Only recommendation for that toilet is to have us replace it with a new toilet customer provides. In the shower stall, there was a good bit of buildup, soap scum, and calcification and hair in the drain. Ran small chain snake down the shower drain and cleared it all out, rinsing it out between passes. Once cleaned, reinstalled the drain cover. All should be good to go.
