Replaced a old 1/2 hp disposal, upgraded to 3/4 hp disposal insinkerator

Customer had leak coming from ceiling. Cut ceiling and found 3/4 copper leaking on tee. Gave options to repair copper line. Also replaced ball cartridge with seats and springs. After getting water back on from copper leak. Tested pressure found pressure to be high. Replaced PRV with main valve to get pressure to correct pressure. After replacements, checked for leaks and proper function.

We did major tank rebuild today with new tank to bowl bolts , new flush valve , new fill valve , new chrome tank handle , replaced hot side cartridge for same bathroom American standard faucet .

In the downstairs bathroom behind the vanity, we will go carefully cut minimal sheet rock through replace the existing lead trap arm with new PVC piping. During the process, we will use drain cleaning equipment to clear the slow draining line. Please note repair of sheet rock is beyond the scope of work and customers responsibility to have it repaired. Please also note while we will make every attempt to clear drain we cannot guarantee we will be able to clear the drain .once complete we will thoroughly test for proper drainage and to ensure a leak free outcome. Perform work mentioned above replaced pop-up assembly as well. Thoroughly tested all work and ensure drain to be working as intended. All work is complete completed and tested.

All for annual plumbing inspection and maintenance visit. See notes below, pictures, and inspection form. Summarized final discussion for Laura. 1. As discussed, washing machine hoses should be upgraded to stainless steel braided variety. 2. Get elbow on gas line replaced serving dryer. 3. Consider new toilets as they are aging. Ran jetter to clear blockage at 90 ft

Returned to run jetter from roof stack. Ran jetter and k400 multiple times. Blockage cleared and was able to run water for 15-20 minutes. Line is no longer backing up. Ran camera out to clean out and the line is clear. Line is flowing properly and no issues upon departure

Customer still heard knocking noises after fixing the pressure on the previous visit. The sound only occurs on startup for washing machine when it comes into the machine in short bursts, or when the tub is turned on and off quickly. Every exposed pipe in the crawlspace that can be strapped has been strapped. Noise is still intermittently occurring. Informed customer that it isn’t a safety issue and any other potential fixes for it may not yield definitive results.

CUSTOMER, we did a few things at the residence. We replaced the three angle stops underneath the kitchen sink solely for the fact that there were shark bites underneath the sink and I recommended we replaced those with either compression and or pro press connections so that is exactly what we did installed a half inch tea Followed by two pro press angle stops and for the cold side as well. Just one singular angle stop then we moved into the laundry room in the garage and snaked the drain line for the standpipe by running water in the laundry sink. We also went ahead and replaced the laundry sink faucet along with the angle stops and supply lines. We also went ahead with a PVC drain replacement inch and a half once complete. There are no leaks in the customer is all set to use their washing machine and the laundry sink.

Returned to install new 2 way clean out and jet the line. Once we cut the cast iron ran jetter out and then ran camera. Ran camera to city’s tap and all the way back through the house. Rest of line is clear and working properly. Flushed toilets multiple times and ran all fixtures. Line is no longer backing up and flowing properly. No issues upon departure

Customer had a bidet that was already installed. Bidet was leaking from tee. Replaced fill valve as a courtesy (no charge, no warranty) to make metal connection to brass shank. Reconnected as a courtesy and customer wanted to sign up for membership due to the amount of visits in the past year. Informed customer that tee isn’t the best quality and while it isn’t leaking now, it can down the road. Recommended having an electrician install an outlet and to put a Toto in if any addition issues occur.

Flushed the water heater, no accessible clean out, to do the camera inspection. During the inspection I looked at everything the ejector pump looks fine along with the sump pump. It is where I drained the hot water into for the flush following that took a look at all the angles and I recommended to get those all replaced however, the customer wants to get the kitchen sink replaced along with the laundry room. Everything in there to be replaced and cable snake the standpipe for the laundry is what I recommended so we are scheduling that for Thursday and more will come.

Will need to cut the lead pipe and adapt to pvc then tubular in order to fix this section of pipe that’s broken. The lavatory sinks are back to back so therefore cutting the wall is not possible at this time. The stack is cast iron so I would recommend getting that repiped. However when ever they put this ptrap in they either soldered the lead or they used jb weld to make the water proof connection. For this customer went ahead and cut the lead joint out for the tubular trap because someone had welded the pipe to make the drain connection so therefore I took my bandsaw, flipped it upside down to cut the lead out along with the trap so I can make a proper mechanical connection with a Fernco and tubular trap Once I completed that there are no leaks on the tubular pop-up assembly and or the drain pipe leading to the main sewer, main leak free connections took a video to show that it was not leaking at this time. Repair has been made at this time. No further repair repairs needed at this

No hot water upon arrival. Customer stated they were only getting Luke warm water around the house. After looking at water heater found it to be 11 years old. Informed customer we would not be able to repair the water heater but we could replace it. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new Rheem 50 gal electric water heater with new expansion tank, pan, and shutoff valve. Turned water back on to check for leaks found no leaks. Hooked up electrical to water heater fired it up. Water heater is fired up and working properly. No leaks upon departure

Water heater leaking upon arrival. Customer stated he noticed this morning his water heater was leaking. Informed customer when they start to leak they have to be replaced. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new Rheem 40 gal gas short water heater with new pan, expansion tank, and shutoff valve. Turned water and gas back on to check for leaks. Found no leaks. Fired up water heater. Water heater is working properly and no leaks upon departure.

Return to complete quoted work. On this visit I removed and replaced the toilet in the men’s restroom in the main building. This included new supply line, wax ring, bolt covers, and removal of the old unit. This was also a comfort height toilet instead of the very low toilet that was in there prior to this. Installed a pressure regulating valve for this side of the property. Due to generations of additions and repairs I placed the prv in the best location in the basement. I did not see any branches or tee offs before this, with the exception of a hose spigot. However, if there are different county lines or branches buried in the ground we can’t identify that. I repaired the leaking galvanized waterline above the hot out side of the water heater. The repair was successful but I still recommend replacing this water heater as soon as possible. Cleaned work spaces and checked all work.

Customer had two bathrooms that weren’t flushing well for two older toilets. Initially spoke with the customer about replacing the toilets with newer, better flushing toilets. Toilet said toilets had been replaced multiple times and hadn’t helped. Customer requested a camera inspection first. Informed customer if the camera inspection doesn’t yield any indication 9f a stoppage the toilets being replaced is the next step.

Adjusted Ptrap that was dripping.

Call for sewer backup. Met with and. Helen and she said both toilets and the tub were draining slow. Inspections revealed standing water at house clean out. Clean out at street side had visible root ball growing up. Returned with hydrojet and jet line and removed all standing roots. Camera shows county side still has root intrusion and will backup again if left unrepaired. After clearing main line by street clean out, I ran camera to verify. When testing plumbing inside there was a residual blockage. Ran camera and jet simultaneously to carefully clear blockage without backspray inside home. Cleaned interior line and verified all fixtures draining. To help Ms. Helen, I also sanitized and cleaned the tub after clearing all interior fixtures I called in on behalf of Ms. Helen to report the mainline break. The sewer and water department said they must send emergency response first, and they’ll assess for repairs. While on site they arrived, but mentioned that they are only responsib

Customer having back up issues upon arrival. Customer stated the toilet downstairs was backing up but has since stopped backing up. Informed customer we could run the camera down the line and locate the issue. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. After running camera found root ball below the porch as well as most of the sewer line was back pitched and there is a crack in the cast iron at the foundation. Gave customer 3 options for replacing just a section of the sewer line, or replacing the whole line.
