Upon arrival customer stated toilet was spraying all in the bowl and the vanity sink would not drain. Gave customer estimate to run snake to clear the drain. Customer approved estimate snaked drain and cleared the vanity sink. Re worked Ptrap and pop up assembly and fixed Kohler stem inside of bowl as a courtesy. No leaks upon departure.

Customer had toilet not flushing properly. Suggested minor rebuild including toilet handle to address issue. After preforming minor rebuild, flushed toilet to check for leaks and proper function. Also checked pressure.

Call for high water bill. Meter has constantly movement. Used dye to find both toilets were leaking through to bowl. Crawled through crawl space and found no other leaks.

Customer has leak from upstairs bath into ceiling below. Checking bathroom upstairs found three handle tub shower faucet to be dripping from from handles behind when running water. Gave customer option to rebuild valve in attempt to stop leak into ceiling. Customer will call back with decision.

Shut off water to heater and drain. Cut out and remove old gas heater. Provide and install new 50 gallon gas water heater inside water heater pan and with new shut off valve and thermal expansion tank. Test new heater for proper operation and clean workspace

Upon arrival, customer stated that they are experiencing a slow draining sink in master bathroom. After inspection, found galvanized and corroded copper drain lines. Informed customer attempt to clear blockage, cleared blockage. Also found galvanized, drain pipe leaking and wall. Informed customer, to make full repair we will need to re-pipe both bathrooms that are currently piped in cast-iron. We will install new PVC. We will install two new flanges, two new vanity, rough fence, and tied back onto PVC in crawlspace. We will return tomorrow morning to perform work.

Found master restroom clogged. Snaked drain drain with hand auger from shower to clear blockage. Ran every fixture in master restroom to test. No other issues at this time.

Found sewer service clogging up and had root intrusion. Replace sewer service from house to about 6’ from road. Installed cleanout at house and one at the road. Had everything turned on at once to test. Left in good working order.

Upon arrival customer stated he noticed water by his cast iron pipes noticed two holes in the cast iron causing the water, kitchen faucet leaking, garbage disposal not working, and dishwasher supply line stubbed through floor not allowing him to install his dishwasher. Gave customer estimate to replace section of cast iron, install a new faucet, install a new 1/2 HP garbage disposal, and tee off of the hot line from kitchen sink to dishwasher and cap old line in the crawlspace. Customer approved the estimate. Replaced section of cast iron pipe and connected back to main line, installed new kitchen faucet with new supply lines, installed new 1/2 HP garbage disposal, and installed a 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 tee to branch off the hot side on kitchen faucet with two new supply stops and new supply line, capped old dishwasher supply line in crawlspace. Installed dishwasher as courtesy no warranty. No leaks upon departure

Moved dryer to accommodate the dryer door opening.

Customer had a condensate pump that had shorted. The plug in was singed and the outlet was burned. Pump was constantly running. Water appeared to be from hvac leak.

Returned and cut open wall to replace washing machine box and Ptrap in wall with pvc to replace the cast. Secured the pipe so that cast vent doesn’t put strain. Ran new pvc below the floor to 3 inch pvc. Ran the new washing machine line to existing pvc. Capped waste arm coming from wall below kitchen sink, drilled through floor, and ran new ovc line to existing PVC. Replace cracked wye and replace cast 4x3 wye that was leaking. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.

Came out for a loose shower valve. Chen plumbing did work recently on some drain repairs in the yard and crawlspace. Homeowner showed us which valve was loose in the wall and confirmed we had not worked on this valve. We went down to the crawlspace and found the piping that goes up to the shower valve. Took video demonstrating where those lines go up through the floor, and showed that even when you try to wiggle them from below, the pipes do not move at all due to the angle they were installed in at. Unsure as to what caused the shower valve to be loose inside the wall. Gave homeowner different ideas to secure the shower valve. No further issue at this time.

Came out for the kitchen sink not draining. Arrived and inspected the piping. Found all of the piping was holding water. Went down to the crawlspace and found the kitchen line had been replaced, and the main drain leaving the house was replaced, but there is a 10’ section of cast iron connecting the two pvc sections, and in this section of cast iron is where the soft tissue blockage occurred. We were able to get a hose up the pipe and rinse off the gunk out of the line so we could clearly identify a soft tissue blockage and took a picture of it. We cleared the blockage and restored flow. Left quote to replace the section of cast iron in the crawlspace. Also left a quote to replace the washing machine box and drain under the slab. Left quote to repipe both bathroom groups inside of the home. No further issue at this time. Returned to jet kitchen drain line from roof vent. Was able to get stoppage cleared and tested and now kitchen sink is drain as it should with no leaks present at this time. Also customer mentioned that tub was leaking and attempted to recreate leak but couldn’t get it to leak and also didn’t see any signs of leaking. Told customer that if it leaks again try to pin point it. Cleaned up work area.

Customer stated that there was a leak under the kitchen sink and also that kitchen sink was backing up. Stated to customer that we need to rework piping under kitchen sink and also run snake to attempt to clear stoppage and customer agreed. Went ahead and attempted to run snake from underneath kitchen sink and also from vent on roof. Wasn’t successful on getting kitchen line opened up. Went ahead and replaced piping under kitchen sink to take care of leak issue. Gave customer options as far as next steps to get the kitchen sink back up and flowing and customer agreed to have kitchen line jetted. Will return Monday morning to jet kitchen line. Cleaned up work area.

Upon arrival, bathroom sink Ptrap is missing washer. Installed new washer. Customer signed up with Win With Chen!

Upon arrival, customer has recently purchased and attempted to install new cartridge in roman tub. Tub is still dripping. Check water pressure, water pressure is sitting at 130 psi. Informed customer we will need to replace PRV. Customer approved estimate. Replace PRV with new watts 25AUBPRV. Also installed new seat in spring for hot side of tub cartridge.

Customer stated that water heater was leaking. Found that water heater is only 3 years old and was purchased at Home Depot. Gave customer options as far as next steps/replacement.
