For this job came out here to investigate a leak. The leak is coming from two different places a technically have three different leaks however, one of the three leaks is not caused by a drain or waterline. It looks like to be a grease issue coming from the floor, unable to determine where however it’s for the other two issues it’s a factor of continent state line for either the icemaker and or the AC unit is leaking down in the center of the front of the building. In addition to that what I recommend for that is to rerun that three-quarter PVC line bring it down the wall and drill a new hole through the center block wall to penetrate the new PVC line out in addition to that the other leak is coming from the wash basin/mop sink area, in order to fix that we’ll have to jackhammer up the floor and replace the floor drain along with the P-trap so it’s all brand new pipe paperwork replaced the ABS piping with PVC and connect back into the regular drain. Pop up for lavatory sink broken upon arrival. Customer stated she tried to fix it but made the problem worse. Informed customer we could replace the pop up. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new pop up assembly and filled up sink multiple times to make sure there was no leak. Pop up is working properly and no leaks upon departure.

Hose Bibb replacement Pressure reducing valve replacement with main shut off For this job the customer tried to repair his outside hose Bibb and as a result he turned off the main shut off valve in the crawl space and when he did that the gate valve started to spray. So therefore he called us and we took care of the job. The job was to replace the main shut off valve for the home, however the main shut off valve was to close to the Prv, so therefore we replaced the Prv and the shut off valve in the crawl space. The hose Bibb in the front of the home also needed to be replaced so therefore we were able to cut the pipe from the outside and replace the hose Bibb, the previous hose Bibb stuck outside of the wall, this one does a little bit as well. Did not take a look at the water heater, we didn’t go inside for this job. Once complete, we have leak free connections.

Snaked the main line again from clean out in the back of the home ,we did clear the blockage , cable almost got stucked in the pipe , roots problem , no warranty

Trimmed shims and caulked toilet. Allow 24 hours for caulk to dry

Main line backed up today and overflowed in basement sink when washing machine is used in main floor , we opened clean out in the back of the home and pipe is full , we used 100 feet cable attempting to clear it but unfortunately we can’t clear it because of heavy blockage possible with roots or broken pipe . We provide with quote for repair today .

Came out for a dripping faucet. Tested water pressure and found the water pressure was at 90 psi. Per code water should not exceed 80 psi. Lavatory faucets cartridges are only rated for up to 80 psi. Notified the employee on site who was authorized to give approval for repairs. Previous PRV appeared quite old with visible rust developing on the brass. That PRV had failed and needed to be replaced. Installed new PRV and a ball valve in the basement. Took apart the faucet and replaced the hot and cold cartridges, and installed new seats and springs. Tested to ensure proper function and a leak free install. No further issue at this time.

Performed win with Chen annual plumbing inspection and left estimates for water heater replacement and shower valve rebuild for 2 handle shower. No other issues found

Shut off water to home and drain system. Disassemble shower valve and remove cartridge. Install new cartridge and install new handle. Test for proper operation

Found leak behind refrigerator with cracked CPVC pipe , we replaced pipe with copper and removed sharkbite tee fitting and installed new copper propress tee .

Replaced a old toilet in basement, supply and installed Kohler intrepid elongated ADA toilet

Today we installed 3/4 “ trac pipe gas line from basement ceiling near the furnace area to under the cook top , we replaced cook top gas line with 1/2 “ trac pipe, new shut off valve and union connect to cook top , 3/4 “ trac pipe continues to outside generator with shut off valve , since customer did not have special flex gas connector , we left valve with cap close to generator, we also installed 1/2 “ trac pipe gas line with new shut valve and union connect to existing gas water heater .

Diagnosed dripping faucet in master bathroom. Left estimate for cartridge replacement or faucet replacement

Replaced a old single handle kitchen faucet with customer picked out together at home deport delta single handle faucet , new supply line installed

Furnish installed flapper fill of and supply line as well as toilet handle for minor rebuild. Customer complaint was toilet randomly run and fill provided options to customer. Customer wanted to do mine rebuild. All work has been tested and complete.

Performed thorough evaluation. We found no source of leak that would count for 27,000 gallons of water loss, all toilets were working as intended. There were no leaks on any piping and/or fixture in home. Main service line from meter to home was also not spinning or showing any movement perform pressure drop test and pressure was indicating no leaks on service line outside.

16 year old rinnai ankles water heater popping error code 11. Upon inspectining the unit I found the heat exchanger also was leaking into the shell of the unit. Unit had never been flushed before. Customer elected to just replace the unit. Removed the old tankless and installed a Navien 240A2. Found there was no PRV in the house and water pressure was at 90 psi. Installed a new PRV and set to 75 psi. Customer is going to have an electrician come install a gfci outlet next to the unit. No further issue at this time. House does have the original galvanized water service. Left quote to replace the line.

Customer had various items in need of repair/replacements. Gave customer options for repair/replacement on tub shower valves. gave option for replacement on water heater and replacement on kitchen faucet. Explained to customer about conditions upon repair on tub/ shower valve, including no warranty condition. Replaced faucet with customer provided faucet. Also replaced heater with Rheem 40 gallon gas heater, which included new pan, new valve, and new thermal expansion tank with bracket. Explain to Customer about condition with screws for tub shower repair. Customer will worry about that at a later point. Checked all areas of work for leaks and proper function.

Customer had the toilet in the dining area backing up and water running under the toilet and onto the floor. Pulled toilet and ran camera to discover a paper towel clog in the line. Pushed through and discovered severe channeling and some cracking on the side walls of the pipe. Pipe can safely be jetted or relined due to age of pipe and condition of the pipe. Left customer quote to replace sections of cast 8n side the building. Informed customer bathroom affected still needs to be out of order because the bathroom group will back up again.

Replace water heater in laundry area due to age. Replace gas line for water heater due a hole in pipe where it penetrated the floor. Added recirculating pump to water heater and installed crossover tee to lavatory in upstairs master restroom.

Returned to cut out cast iron laundry p trap and stand pipe all the way to the stack and replace with new pvc. Cut out old cast iron and replaced it with 2 inch pvc. Ran small sewer machine down the line to make sure there was no further blockages. Ran water for 5 minutes down the line to make sure was clear and no longer leaking. Line no longer is backing up and is flowing properly. No leaks upon departure.

Water heater busted upon arrival. Customer stated stated she woke up this morning to no hot water. After looking found 38 gal low boy busted and leaking in the crawlspace. Informed customer we could replace the water heater but could not repair due to it leaking. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new 38 gal low boy electric water heat and brought it up to code with a new thermal expansion tank, shutoff, and pan underneath. Turned water back on to check for leaks. Found no leaks. Turned electrical back on and made sure the water heater was fired up. Water heater is fired up and working properly. No leaks upon departure

Customer called us for slow draining drains, and basement bathroom after our thorough evaluation we concluded that line was stopped up gave customer options to run camera and run equipment. Customer approved ran snake down line and found giant hairball. We have pictures confirming what we found. Ran water to confirm drain was fully unstop. Everything is working at time of departure Attached are pictures of what we pulled back and a video showing the drain is clear

Customer had a bathroom group that had backed up on the slab portion of the basement. Pulled toilet and ran camera to clear soft tissue blockage. Noted to customer that there is cast still on the toilet line before it reaches the lined pipe going out of the home. There is a portion of the cast right before it transitions to the lined pipe where there is back slope at a fitting. This causes the water to break when coming through and makes stoppages more likely. Informed customer that if that bathroom group becomes a repeat offender the long term solution is to cut slab and repair the line to eliminate back slope. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Chen Plumbing doesn’t warranty stoppages due to age and cinditi9n of the drain pipes. Spoke with customer about house pressure and age of the water heater.
