Cut out existing waterline out foundation wall, and install new waterline through foundation wall. Seal penetration properly. Customer stated that where penetration was for water line water and mud was leaking in. Gave customer quote to fix and customer agreed. Shut water off at the meter and dug down to waterline going through foundation. Cut out pipe going through foundation one replaced with new one. Turned water back on and tested for leaks. No leaks were present at this time so I went ahead and sealed up penetration hole and covered back soil. Also was send estimates for other plumbing repairs customer wanted done. Cleaned up work area.

Client called us out today due to the master bathroom shower stall not draining as it should, and the master bath toilet seemed to be a little slow flushing. Upon further observations, we saw the toilet is still currently flushing, though it may be slower than usual. Over time, toilets can lose their flush power from calcium buildup inside the toilet, causing some slower flushing. Only recommendation for that toilet is to have us replace it with a new toilet customer provides. In the shower stall, there was a good bit of buildup, soap scum, and calcification and hair in the drain. Ran small chain snake down the shower drain and cleared it all out, rinsing it out between passes. Once cleaned, reinstalled the drain cover. All should be good to go.

Came out today due to the 2 back to back upstairs bathrooms drains being stopped up. The rest of the home was unaffected and client is on septic. Isolating those 2 bathrooms, we pulled the master bathroom toilet and ran camera then drain machine down the line to get it cleared. Once cleared I could see a small hump in the pipe right before the transition to cast iron upstairs, where paper and such can be collecting causing blockages. Once flowing set toilet back and secured to flange with new wax ring. Client is good for now, but highly recommend they address this cast iron issue, as well as the very clogged up cast iron kitchen sink drain line. No warranty on drain cleaning. Will leave estimates to take care of those cast iron issues.

Drill new hole through cabinet and bring up new 2 inch PVC piping. Install new basket strainer and rework piping under kitchen sink and connect to new 2 inch PVC piping and install Studer vent. Also in crawlspace rework 3 inch PVC piping and connect 2 inch. Also cap off old drain line in cabinet on roof and in crawlspace. Customer stated that there was water pouring somewhere in kitchen. Found that drain line in wall has failed. Gave customer quote to replace existing drain line. Customer agreed to quote and we install new drain line and reworked. Also capped off old drain line and also capped off vent on roof and in crawlspace. Tested and no leaks were present at this time. Cleaned up work area. Also, kitchen sink was damaged in process. Didn’t install new sink because the restoration mentioned that cabinets will have to come out.

Customer stated that they needed under kitchen sink reconnected. Gave customer quote to reconnect under kitchen sink and customer agreed. Went ahead and installed new piping and reconnected under sink. Started testing and found that kitchen drain line was backed out. Stated to customer that we need to run a snake to clear stoppage and customer agreed. Ran snake and got stoppage cleared afterwards reconnected drain and retested. Now kitchen sink is draining as it should and no leaks were present this time. Cleaned up work area. Chen plumbing doesn’t warranty drain cleaning.

For this customer, they called us out for a rotten out, wore out tub drain in the guest hallway bathroom, their tub is a cast-iron tub and the old plastic tub drain needed to be replaced due to all the corrosion. I tried to take it off with my inside the pipe nipple extractor however I was unsuccessful at doing that so therefore had to chip away with it with a screwdriver and take it out piece by piece, once I was complete I cleaned out all the debris from the drain line, including old pieces. I shot backed it all out to ensure that there would be no debris lodged in the sewer line, so it would prevent a back up, clean the surface as best as possible following that I re-put the new tub, drain or brass conversion went back with the brush, nickel look cleaned up everything and there’s no further leaks at this time and or issues. The water pressure on the house is at 65 pounds. Perfect pressure. Water heater is from 2019 in good condition.

For this job, we were called out to give an estimate on installing a new 40 gallon water heater. The customer had one from 2007 that needed to be replaced because I was leaking from the bottom but it turns out it was split from the back my first immediate thought maybe the pressure was high however the pressure is at 60 pounds of pressure so more than likely it was just end of life for the heater so what I recommended is that we go ahead and replace it with a brand new 50 gallon heater without the stand and put a pan in Install a new gas flexible line rather than the soft K copper in addition to that installed a new thermal expansion tank with the bracket to support it at the front of the water heater added all the necessary, pro press, connections, and pipe once installed there are no leaks of gas and or water tested the gas with bubbles and to ensure that there’s no water leaks, ran my hand across every single fitting to ensure that there’s nothing leaking at this time. Replaced a faulty Meon 1222 cartridge

Customer had a leaking kitchen faucet and a sink in the kitchen that wasn’t sealed or mounted at all. Made customer aware that I can replace the faucet, and will make an attempt to reseal the sink. But there are no undermount brackets, and the cutout is almost the same size as the sink top. Due to these factors the resealing of the sink may not stay long or even short term. If there are further issues with the sink, a countertop company will need to mount it properly. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Customer will need to let the sink dry for 24-48 hours to fully set.

Customer wanted tank water heater flushed as a part of membership program. Also minor adjustment to valve box height located in yard. Drained tank. Allowed water to flush through tank for 5-10mins with drain open. Redrained then filled tank.

Description of service: Price is to flush tankless unit. Due to age and lack of service history it is ill advised to flush this unit. This flush carries no warranty if the flush causes leaks. Any leaks that occurs during or after the time of flushing will need additional repairs or replacement. Customer stated the water heater had stopped heating fully on some occasions and wasn’t producing fully hot water. Inspected the unit. Determined it was from 2009 and had no service history. Gave customer option to flush as a first step or replace. Customer opted to flush as a first step. Made customer aware that due to age and lack of service history that replacement is recommended and flushing carries certain risks. Customer understood and consented to the flush after the risks of flushing were explained. If any further issues occur with the unit replacement will be necessary. House pressure T 75 psi.

Customer wants to wait for decision. Gave options to clear and check line. System is not currently backed up. Explain to customer that system is subject to change.

Remove shower drain test cap

Call for dripping shower. Arrived and found hot side stem and seat has failed, allowing water to drip through spout. Three handle valve has mismatched stems and work from older valve and repairs. Unable to identify and locate replacement stems, and will return with three handle valve. Trim does not match valve. Diverter seals, but doesn’t function. Evidence of drips through stem housing. I believe these have been replaced with similar but incorrect parts, and by replacing them we would be doing a disservice to the customer by knowingly installing components that are likely to fail or not function. Replacement is the best option in this instance.

Customer has a tub running on main floor bathroom from the cold side. Informed customer due to age and condition of the three handle valves, repair can’t be done safely or confidently. Gave pricing to provide and install and oil rubbed bronze valve with cover plate in a matching finish. Customer will call to schedule after the holidays/new year. Wasn’t able to get an accurate pressure reading due to the severity of the water running.
