Came out for a broken shower valve. Arrived and found three handle shower valve stem had snapped off. No adequate access to replace valve without serious demolition. Customer elected to have shower valve rebuilt with no warranty. We notified home owner we cannot warranty repair due to three handle shower valve no longer being accepted by code. Left and purchased parts. Returned, installed, and tested to insure a leak free instillation. Customers had purchased their own handles for repair. Trim provided in rebuild kit was not compatible with new handles. We showed to home owner and they stated they were ok with it and elected for that over the handles from the kit.
