For this job, I conducted a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system and found a issue with the thermal expansion tank as well as a leak under neath the kitchen sink, the pressure in the home is around 65 psi, I provided Glenn with a few solutions for his issue at hand and Glenn went ahead and replaced both expansion tank and valves to his filtration system, and kitchen sink , this will come with a 1 year warranty Thank you for choosing Chen plumbing! Upon arrival, the customer stated that they were experiencing low water pressure throughout the home, with particularly poor water flow on the cold side of the bathroom vanity faucet. After performing an evaluation, determined that the existing pressure-reducing valve (PRV) was not regulating the home's water pressure properly and that the cold-water supply stop serving the vanity faucet had failed, restricting proper water flow. Discussed the findings with the customer and recommended replacing the existing PRV to restore proper water pressure throughout the home, along with replacing the failed cold-water supply stop at the vanity faucet. The customer approved the recommended repairs. Began by removing the existing PRV and installing a new pressure-reducing valve. Adjusted the new PRV to maintain the home's water pressure at approximately 65 PSI, bringing the system to an appropriate residential operating pressure.
