Upon arrival, customer states he is noticing a leak coming from recirculation pump. After inspection, confirmed recirculating pump is failed and is leaking. Informed customer will need to replace recycling pump. Customer approved estimate. installed new Groundfos recirculation pump. Test system, system is working properly at departure. No leaks at departure.

For this job, I came out to their customers house to take a look at a high water bill issue. So therefore, the first thing I did to figure out what was going on is I turn off the water on the inside of the house to take a look at the meter to see if it was continuously the spin and as a result, that meter did stop and the dial did not move when the water on the inside of the house was shut off, so therefore to verify that I ran some water inside the house and there was no leaks from the meter once it was turned back on, so therefore, I took some diet tablets throughout the toilets in the home put six diet tablets and all six toilets to see if any of the toilets were leaking and none of the toilets have came back with a leak looked at all the faucets couldn’t see any leaks outside the normal access. So at this time, there are no issues with inside water usage or outside water usage that I could find. I didn’t notice that the issue could be a faulty meter giving an incorrect read. The me
