House was remodeled right before customer moved in. Could not find any issues at this time.
Water leak upon arrival. Customer stated her basement flooded with water and she didn’t know where it came from. After looking found both cast iron sewer stacks coming from upstairs leaking, the 4 inch one had a 5 ft crack down the middle of it. Also found all 3 toilets running constantly and two supply stops not working properly. Informed customer in order to fix the issues we would need to rebuild all 3 toilets, replace the two stops and cut out the two bad sections of cast iron and replace it with pvc. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Cut out both bad sections of cast iron and replaced it with new pvc, also reworked the kitchen sink drain with pvc. Rebuilt all 3 toilets with new inner parts and replaced two stops, all toilets got new supply lines. Flushed all toilets, ran tub and shower in both bathrooms and ran the kitchen sink to make sure the stacks were no longer leaking. Found upstairs lavatory faucet spouts loose. Tighten lavatory spouts and caulked to counter top. Toilet in upstairs powder room leaking from base. Pulled toilet in powder room and reset with new wax seal. Caulked toilet to floor. Found water pressure at 120 psi recommended replacing Prv. Sheetrock will have to be removed. Informed customer we do not repair Sheetrock.
