Job Locations and Reviews
Customer called us out for disposal, not working and also kitchen sink backing up. Upon arrival, found bunch of food in sink and inside the disposal. On jammed disposal and pulled out food and metal. Afterwards tested both sides of the sink and both sides are draining fine. Ran water for a little bit afterwards and didn’t notice any backing up. Also tested water pressure to home and found that pressure was above 80 psi and recommended to have that addressed. Also found that water heater is from 2010 and isn’t up to code. Will send estimates for recommended plumbing repairs.
Customer had the fire department come out the night before and shut off the gas to the house. Upon arrival I inspected behind the stove and upon turning the gas back on found the leak coming from the gas supply connecting to the gas stop. Gave customer price to run a new gas supply and turn it in a way to alleviate pressure from the stove being pushed back. Noted to customer that the install for the stove was coming out too far from the wall. I pulled up the stove spacer to keep it further off the wall and confirmed customer was ok with this. Customer was fine with it. Informed customer that a price can be given to stub it out of the wall, but customer is ok with previous install and stove spacing as it is now. Relit the heater for the customer and tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. Attached videos of bubble tests and gas sniffing test to ensure no leaks.
Water heater not working upon arrival. Customer stated this her partners house who recently passed away and she is selling the house. The gas had been turned off for a few months and when they turned it back on they could not get the water heater to light. Customer had the gas company out and they told her the water heater igniter was not sparking. After checking to make sure it was not sparking, informed customer with the age of the water heater (19 years) we would not be able to repair but we could replace the water heater. Gave customer estimate, customer stated she needed to ask the buyers if they wanted to pay for it, or if they wanted her to pay for it
