Customer had low flow in home after running a single fixture. Checked pressure drop in house for over a 30 psi drop. Recommended starting with prv and thermal expansion replacement. Also recommended replacing the water heater since it is almost 20 years old. Customer accepted work to replace prv and thermal expansion tank. Set new house pressure to 58 psi with only a 5 psi drop when lavatory faucet is run. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks.
Customer had issues with irrigation all valves open, and running, unable to shut off. after thorough evaluation, found pressure in area to be high, resulting in high pressure to irrigation system and water system of home. Found pressure to be 140 psi. Gave options for replacement of PRV inside home. And to install PRV on irrigation line in yard. Also addressed a few minor issues with quotes. Explain to customer about two step regulator needed for home due to pressure being above 130 psi. Removed old regulator and installed two new regulators. One black tag high-pressure and one regular pressure PRV. Also added a new ball valve to home. After work was complete checked for leaks and proper function. Pressure is now set at 60 psi. Customer will call back after speaking with irrigation company about installing PRV in yard for irrigation.
Customer called because it would like to run a camera to verify the condition of their sewer line gave customer option. Customer approved, I ran camera from main stack. However we could not get very far because sewer line takes multiple. Turns camera is just not flexible enough to make turns Inform customer and gave option to install clean out. also gave estimate to replace waterline which is currently gray poly.
