Came out for a leak in the ceiling. We arrived and inspected where the drywall had already been cut open by someone else. Opening was located under the master bathroom tub. We ran water in the tub/shower. Found the leak itself was coming down through the overflow plate and will require a new waste and overflow to correct the issue. The shower valve is also unusable currently. Hot side valve is inoperable, diverter leaks out of the handle when turned on, and trim pieces are broken. Left quote to replace the old style 3 handle shower valve with a new single handle shower valve and remodel plate. Quote also includes replacing the waste and overflow. We also looked at the water heater as the gas company had put a tag for a violation on the fuel line to the water heater. Water heater has multiple code violations. Gas company tagged the fuel line because two flexible gas connectors were attached together for the water heater, which is against code. Water heater also has an unsupported expans
