Checked water heater and pressure in home. Pressure is at 65psi and water heater is 9 years old but working properly. Checked and monitored meter for 15-20 min and meter did not register any movement. No wet spots in yard. Did not find any signs of water leak to resemble high water bill inside or outside home.

Found that cast iron in in rough condition which may cause a stoppage. Removed 2 toilets and hauled away. Furnished and installed 2 new toilets with new service valves. Tested and no leaks present. Caulked around base of toilet. Also installed new lavatory faucet with service valve. Tested and no leaks present at this time. Also installed new mop sink faucet. Installed 1 1/4in Prv. Came out for a possible secondary leak on a shower another tech recently repaired. Previous tech replaced a leaking shower arm and tested the shower and found no leaks. Customer stated after he used the shower for the first time again, he noticed a small amount of water had pooled on the plastic where they had cut the ceiling open below the tub. Leak was due to inadequate caulking on the left/hot side handle of the shower valve. When someone was in the shower, water would bounce off and run down the wall and slowly leak behind the trim plate and run down the outside of the tub before pooling up and dripping down below. This is not a new issue as seen from the video and pictures as where the water is pooling is heavily rusted in that spot alone. Demonstrated the leak to the homeowner by spraying water on the wall with the shower head so he could see the leak occurring. He is going to have his contractor waterproof the shower as part of the remediation process.
