Replaced 50 gallon gas water heater in garage
Returned and installed customer supplied toilet. Upon pulling the old toilet found that the flange was built under the floor. Installed a new id flange to bring the pipe up to the right height. Set new toilet on top of new flange with new bolts, caps, wax ring, and supply lines. Flushed toilet multiple times to ensure proper function and no leaks.
Customer had watermarks underneath lavatory sink in hallway. Water has been getting underneath the sink from backside of backsplash and water sitting on top of counter. Tested faucet and drain, neither are currently leaking. Recommend new fixture due to age and rust. New fixture can be sealed properly to not allow water from countertop to get underneath. Also recommend caulking between mirror and backsplash.
