If the issue involves a specific fixture, turn off the valve closest to that fixture. Next, turn off the water heater to prevent damage. Do You Have A Pinhole Copper Leak?
Cobb County's water supply contains hard water, which is water with a high concentration of dissolved minerals like calcium and magnesium. Over time, these minerals break down the lining of copper pipes, causing small pinhole leaks. Call us for our recommendations to remedy these issues, whether that be short-term fixes or longer-term solutions. Installing a whole house water softener or repiping to a different material are some of the remedies for areas with hard water.
