Plumbing Work Summary • Replaced the hot and cold shut-off valves under the kitchen sink with PEX connections. The third valve was provided as a courtesy. • Installed a water hammer arrestor for the toilet. • Installed the customer-supplied bidet. • Performed a minor repair to the soap dispenser as a courtesy. I replaced the hot and cold shut off valve underneath the sink due to antibacterial soap got all on the shut off valves and we’re slowly corroding the brass quarter to turn valves so the recommendation was to replace the quarter valves before it became a problem. In addition to that, I recommended to reseal the soap dispenser with 100% waterbase silicone so the soap does not come down to the bottom anymore. In addition to that, the customer had a supply a new bidet seat from Toto installed the new bidet seat upstairs with a brand new hammer arrestor on the 3/8 quarter turn shut off valve to reduce water hammering at this time. Everything has been completed. There are no leak
Upon arrival, customer states they have unusual water usage going through meter. After inspection, noticed TMP is constantly running. Informed customer TMP has failed and is causing high water usage. Testing pressure, noticed water pressure to be sitting at 80 psi. Recommended customer, to replace PRV. Customer approved estimate. Replaced failed TMP with no warranty due to age of water heater. Also installed new watch 25AUBPRV in unfinished basement. PRV has one year warranty. Includes one time discounts for new customer.
Came out for membership inspection. We followed checklist and gave quotes for the issues we found. Water pressure is at 110 psi., expansion tank on water heater has ruptured. We left quote to repair/replace. We also found the sewer line has been replaced with pvc. At the transition between the pvc and concrete city line, the drain is back pitched and the bottom of the pipe has some weird humps occurring on the bottom. There was not a city cleanout installed when the line was replaced before the current homeowners moved in. It is not currently causing the, any issues with a back up, but I did give a quote to install a city cleanout should the need arise in the future. We went over our findings with the homeowner and gave our recommendation on addressing the water pressure issues.
