Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, customer noted toilet not filling back up in first stall of women’s bathroom checked water, pressure into toilet, checked inlet filter, checked duckbill valve. all functioning properly. Found cartridge depth, slightly lower than second stall toilet. Reset cartridge at new depth. Flushed several times to check for proper function.
Remove washer and dryer (double stacked). Turn off water to home and drain system. Use small hammer drill and carefully break up concrete around water and drain line exposed slightly below cracked concrete. Cut Sheetrock to expose drain and water lines. Cut and run hot and cold water lines to washer deeper than current state (right at top of concrete). Connect new lines to new washing machine box. Test for proper operation and leaks. After water lines have been addressed, run small camera through washing machine line to check for any obstruction or issues that cause drain to overflow with high volume of water. Possibly related to venting issue. Will add wall air admittance valve if needed.
Upon arrival, customer states they’re experiencing a running toilet again. After inspection, noticed flapper chain is getting caught underneath flapper. Picked up chain. Chain will no longer be able to get caught on flapper. Toilet is working properly after departure. No leaks at departure.
It has been a very long time since I have felt that a service company was actually grateful for my business. Most act like I should be grateful for them, but I’m usually left feeling like they want me to appreciate them and their time, but they don’t appreciate me, or mine. I felt very appreciated by everyone I came in contact with at Chen Plumbing. From the staff that answers the phone to the technicians in the field they all seem genuinely happy and interested to help. These folks have my business for life. And, I’ll be telling my neighbors about them as well.
