Upon arrival, the initial concern was a constantly dripping shower valve. Before proceeding with a full replacement of the stems on the three-handle shower valve, I wanted to inspect the existing stems to determine whether the issue could be resolved by replacing the washers.

During inspection, I discovered that the cold-water stem was missing a washer, which was likely contributing to the constant dripping. Rather than immediately replacing both stems, I replaced the washers on the back of the hot and cold stems to see if this would resolve the issue.

After completing the repair, the dripping stopped, and the valve is currently functioning properly. I allowed approximately 5–10 minutes for the area to dry and monitored the repair. At this time, there are no active leaks. The tub spout is functioning properly, with only a small amount of residual water remaining.

Both stems are in good working condition and do not currently require replacement.

Recommendation: I recommend monitorin
