For this job, I came out to take a look at an issue with a huge ejector pump that was constantly trying to pump, but the water wasn’t going anywhere, so therefore, I wanted to take a look at the clean out before ruling out the factor of it could be a faulty pump to see if there was any standing water inside of the cleanup so the customer stated that the clean out is located right next to her pond and we had to dig a small section to uncover the cleanout cover cap, so we opened up the clean out, and I see that there was a little bit of standing water inside of the wine, which could be contributing to the factor of why the pump was not pumping my recommendation is to run a camera down the sewer line to see what the underlying cause of the issue is we also located the city clean out and I had the homeowner flushed the toilet to see the water to come down the silver line and it came down as a trickle, indicating that there is a potential issue with the sewer line that is blocking. Came out for a kitchen sink back up. Arrived and found the disposal was humming, and the water was draining very slowly. Gave options and received approval to snake the drain. We unjammed the disposal as a courtesy, and snaked the drain. This restored functionality to the disposal and water was now draining properly. We filled the sink up and let it drain with the customer present so he could also verify it was draining adequately. No further issue at this time. No warranty on draining cleaning. Let customer know we would credit 50% of todays visit towards jetting if 5e sink backs up again within 30 days.
