Return to install filtration system. No leaks at departure. Filtration system is working properly at departure.
Upon arrival, the customer reported an unusually high water bill and requested an evaluation to determine whether a plumbing leak could be contributing to the increased water usage. I began by checking the water meter with the whole-home main shut-off valve in the off position. The meter was not registering water flow, indicating that no water was passing through the meter under these conditions. This suggests there is no continuous water flow through the main water service while the home's water supply is shut off. I then inspected all three toilets for potential leaks by placing dye tablets in each toilet tank and allowing approximately 15 minutes for the test. After the waiting period, I checked the toilet bowls for signs of dye transfer. No evidence of leakage was observed during the test. I also inspected the accessible plumbing fixtures throughout the home and checked the faucets and showerheads for visible dripping or continuous water flow. No dripping faucets, leaking shower
Came out for the dishwasher supply. We verified dishwasher was in fact connect to the hot supply piping. Ran water at the sink to confirm that pipe did in fact get hot water. No repair work necessary for the dishwasher supply. We also inspected a loose faucet handle on the Roman tub. Handle could not previously be secured due to the way it had been installed, but I was able to hand tighten the deck plate down to slightly raise the valve body up through the tile and make enough space to secure the handle onto the cartridge. Faucet is having a separate issue of constantly dripping. We ordered replacement cartridges and will return to install them next week.
