Inspect all plumbing in house. Customer stated that they were having a higher water bill than normal. Went ahead and shut off main water valve off inside the house and spotted meter. Didn’t notice meter spinning and also didn’t change for 20 minutes. Also inside home, inspected all bathrooms, water heater, and all other plumbing fixtures. At this time didn’t notice any active water leaks nor toilets running. Recommended to customer to put dye in the back of the tanks at night time to see if toilets are running during the night. Let customer know that if there is a toilet running, give us a call for us to come back and make a repair. Also, issue may be on the city side.
Looked at toilet in main level restroom. Recommend replacing toilet due to age. Looked at toilet in upstairs hall restroom. Recommend replacing due to age.
Remove existing water heater and haul away. Furnish and install new 50 gallon gas water heater with new tank shut off and thermal expansion tank. Also install drip pan under heater. Did quoted work. Tested and no leaks present at this time. Lit water heater. There should be hot water in about 45min. Cleaned up work area.
