Fixed busted water service line between water meter to the home inside the wall , we dug down outside cut pipe installed new pipe thru wall to crawl space connected existing pipe , tested and checked, no more leak .
Scope of work includes removing all visible cast-iron piping will replace cast-iron piping up until cast-iron leads into the encapsulation of crawlspace. All work will be thoroughly tested supported and fills used will be up to current plumbing standards. Also kitchen drain line will be reworked kitchen drain line now has backfall. As a courtesy, we will run camera from where we cut open sewer to main tap near road to determine the condition of line. Cut out all existing cast-iron piping up until piping went into encapsulation, while pipe was open we ran camera to determine condition of line. Main line is all PVC heading to 6 inch concrete tap. Everything looks great in crawlspace removed all old cast hauled out and will take with us. Thoroughly tested all lines installed by gym plumbing. Everything is working as intended upon departure. Water heater was also flushed.
Customer had a toilet leak in her daughter’s upstairs bathroom. She stated the painters found the active leak and went ahead and cut off supply stop to the toilet. There was a tank to bowl screw on her tub that someone removed. Went ahead and threw the screw on to the tank to bowl tank, tighten the nut and tested the tank to bowl connection. No leaks were present at this time and informed customer that no charge will be due.

Here is the backstory. I have used Tim for over $8000 worth of work over the past 3.5 years. As you know, he is expensive but does a good job. A month ago, his tech came out to replace a pressure relief value and water shut off values. The tech used a ProPress to attach new fittings onto the water line. We have PVC water line from the street meter thru a basement block wall. The water line was damaged when the tech pulled the pvc pipe off the wall slightly and caused a slight leak at a junction point right inside the block. I ask Tim to cover this under warranty since the block was totally dry before the pressure value was installed. He said this is a separate issue despite they were here 5 weeks ago. It’s a very slight weep , so it took time to manifest itself onto the block wall. Tim said it would be almost 1000 bucks because he has to dig. And by the way, I have a monthly service contract. I’m am not a happy the way I’m being treated.
