Customer stated that they needed connection for dishwasher. Installed boiler drain and now dishwasher can get. Tested and no leaks.
Came out for a high water bill. Water company said something had been running non stop all month. We looked at the water meter and found it was not spinning. Went inside and opened a faucet, verified meter was working. Looked in crawlspace and made sure nothing was leaking. Found a minor leak on the cold inlet to the water heater. Not enough to register anything at the meter, and is due to heavy corrosion on the water heater piping. Left quote to replace water heater which will require homeowner to get floor of closet repaired as it is heavily water damaged. Found the downstairs toilet was very slowly running non stop due to a fill valve float being set too high. Water usage was so minimal that it wasn’t registering in the digital meter. Have had experience in the past with high water bill from a minor leak that the water company can register even when the digital meter indicates no leak. No further issue at this time.
