Call for water heater not lighting after recent gas regulator work. Arrived and met with homeowner. Checked water heater and saw that it was left on low, but pilot was not lit. On a previous visit this water heater took a significant amount of time to light. I advised then that the regulator may be one under the Rheem gas control valve warranty issue. However, we were able to get it lit during that visit. Unit is from May of 2021. I attempted to light and got spark, but no pilot. Unthreaded gas connections and verified gas was on to unit.gas is on to property as well. Gas control valve and burner assembly should be replaced at a minimum. Due to age of water heater, drip at boiler drain port, rust along burner cover and base, and piping and venting, I am also providing an option to replace. I also advised that replacement part availability will play a very big factor in repair time for tomorrow. Due to time today I was unable to confirm parts availability at all supply houses.
