Sink leaking upon arrival. Customer stated they didn’t know where the leak was coming from, after looking noticed p trap had separated causing the leak. Informed customer we would need to rebuild the p trap. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Installed new p trap and filled up sink multiple times to test for leaks. Return to replace water heater as quoted. Due to galvanized line on main waterline, I used the existing ball valve at the water heater to shut water off and drain unit. Removed and replaced with new 40 gallon tall and skinny. During this installation I replaced gas sediment trap and corrected incorrect sediment trap. Removed incorrect and taped venting and replaced with new single wall vent. Installed a new thermal expansion tank and mounting bracket. Removed sharkbite fittings and flex quick connect hose, and replaced with all pex pipe and correct fittings. Removed tension off T&P line by adding offset. Filled unit, checked for leaks, and set to “A” for heat. Cleaned all work spaces and removed floor protection.
