Responded to the property to investigate the customers concern regarding an unusual high water bill. Customer stated that painters had recently been working inside the home and using water while completing painted related work upon inspection. The home was equipped with a flow by Moen smart water monitoring system, which had repeatedly triggered an automatic water shut off due to detected water usage. Customer adjusted the system water usage to help prevent unnecessary shut offs during normal household water consumption. Also inspected two running toilets located in the upstairs bathroom. Checked the homes water pressure to verify safe operating conditions. Pressure was at 50 psi which is within the recommended operating range. Further inspection revealed that both toilet flappers appeared to be defective, and the flush chains were becoming caught in the flappers, preventing the toilets from sealing properly. Informed the customer of the findings and recommended replacing both flappers

Chen Plumbing does great work at a very good price. Cody has been out twice for different repair work and both times has fixed things and gone above and beyond explaining what hes done. Shortly before this visit I discovered I had a leak in the kitchen. He took the time to thoroughly investigate, sending me pictures. He also called Reliable Restoration for me, who came out shortly after and evaluated to see if there was an issue with water damage.

Timely and efficient service with excellent communication from first contact to dispatch to closeout; overall high quality of service, although Im sure you can find cheaper bids out there. Kevin was thorough and took the time to answer all of our questions. I would definitely recommend and will use Chen Plumbing again if/when needed.
