Homeowner had his home connected into the city water supply, but still had a well system supplying some of the buildings on his property. He wanted the well pump disconnected and connected into the homes supply. Removed the well tank and connected the piping back up. Allowed adequate time for glue to cure before testing. No further issue at this time.

Sump pump float needing to be adjusted upon arrival, customer stated when the washing machine runs the new sump pump doesn’t kick on as fast as the old one did. Informed customer we could attempt to adjust the float to make the pump turn on sooner. Gave customer estimate, customer approved estimate. Shortened float line to make sure the pump kicks on sooner. Pump is kicking on sooner now. Filled up both sides of sink to recreate a big flow of water and pump was able to keep up. When the pit has a lot of bubbles from soap it it the seals are allowing soap out. Caulked around all seals to attempt to stop this issue.Informed customer if the issue continues happening we would need to replace the new pump he installed with a stronger one or they could get a newer washing machine that does not use as much water. Pump is working properly upon departure. Recommend customer replace with liberty under sink pump

For this job, it came out to take a look at a water service leak on the left side of the home. It appeared to be scheduled forty PVC pipe. In the ground, there is a small leak coming from one of the elbows. It appears that a car may have driven on the water service line, indicating a small pinhole crack in the elbow I gave a couple different solutions of what we could do in terms of either repair and or replace. The CUSTOMER needs to discuss it with their family. Was not able to look at the water heater to give an estimate on that as well. I gave the customer a ballpark range of what one would averagely cost due to the fact that one of her family members were sleeping in the room of where the water heater is wasn’t able to get a pressure reading at this time. The water meter is not spinning, currently indicating a very slow drip at this time, the customer wants to think about either replacement or repair.
