Job Locations and Reviews
Upon arrival, customer recently moved into home. Inspector flaged water heater due to no expansion tank. Home also has high water pressure. Water pressure is currently sitting at 100 psi. Current water heater is 10 years old, informed customer my recommendation is to replace water heater with new expanse tank ball valve. Home also needs new PRV. Water heater install come with two year labor warranty.
Upon arrival customer wanted 9 yr old water heater flushed and had issues with pressure. Informed customer we could flush the water heater but would not recommend it due to its age and no service history.Gave customer estimate to install a new 50 gal gas water heater and install a new PRV with new whole home shut off valve. Customer approved estimate we removed old heater and installed new heater. Also installed a new shut off valve on inlet to water heater and installed a new gas whip. Also mounted the expansion tank to the wall with a bracket and put heater inside of pan. Removed old double union style PRV and installed new PRV and whole home shut off valve and adjusted pressure to 65psi. Heater is fired up and no leaks upon departure.
Remove existing water heater and hauled away. Furnished and installed new 50 gallon gas water heater with new thermal expansion tank and new bracket. Installed customer supply whole house water filtration system with by pass. As a courtesy, installed new fill valve and supply line in basement bathroom. Turned water back on and tested all water connections. No leaks were present at this time. Will need to come back to install filter once customer gets it shipped and test connections once filter is in.
